Vardhaman Petrol Depot, Warje, Pune

Risk confusing by staff on meter, being beaten up by Gundas at the pump, snatching of your Gold Chain at the Vardhaman Petrol Depot at Warje, Malwadi, Pune. My son and his friend visited the Petrol Pump on the 27th of April 2015 at around 11 PM. The Modus Operandi of the pump is as follows: They asked for the tank full. The staff set the meter at Rs. 400.

When they asked the staff to zero then the staff said they did that. After filling Petrol the Meter was showing 1799 and the staff asked for Rs. 2202 instead of Rs 1800. After a lot of arguing, On paying Rs 1802 the Gundas at the Petrol Pump beat them and snatched their Gold Chain. A police complaint has been made and the incident reported on the BPCL complaints site. The incident is on the CCTV of the pump. I am presuming that the rent collectors are collecting their regular rent from this Petrol Pump and the activity would continue ad infinitum at this and at other similar petrol pumps.
