Very bad experience. The quality of wood is very worst n advisable not to buy this furniture, only they makeup the wood n from inside the wood is breaking. Service is very poor

I bought dining set from Usha Lexus Hyderabad 2 years ago. 6 months later, I saw white powder falling from one of the chairs. Turns out that there were wood eating worm inside one of the chair legs. I sent the chair back for rectification only to get it back after a long wait of 2 months .

Last month, I saw similar powder falling from 2 more chairs, both of them are infected too. I need to spend more time and money getting them rectified now!

While the furniture looks good from outside, the material used is pretty pathetic . I would strongly recommend anyone against buying Usha Lexus furniture.

Still waiting for our product to be delivered even after paying all the money and its been complete 4 months by now.and they never bother to update the delivery status even if you call them and ask.

i want to reiterate the same things as the previous comment for the same brand.

1. Un-courteous staff - does not take calls when I call to inquire status, forget about their calling on their own to provide an update if there is a delay

   
   




2. Misrepresentation - their staff on various occasions assured me that the product would be delivered the same day and it never was. They had been lying blatantly when they clearly knew that they would not be able to keep a certain date

I am writing this feedback to share my feedback on buying furniture from USHA Shriram Furniture (MG Road) Delhi. Their furniture retails under the USHA Lexus brand.

I bought a dining table from their store in Gurgaon on Aug 30th 2009. I was given a delivery timeline of 15 days. The table was finally delivered after a period of 37 days as against the initially promised 15 days, i.e. a delay of over 3 weeks. Prior to delivery the key problems I had were -

1. Uncourteous staff - does not take calls when I call to inquire status, forget about their calling on their own to provide an update if there is a delay

   
   




2. Misrepresentation - their staff on various occasions assured me that the product would be delivered the same day and it never was. They had been lying blatantly when they clearly knew that they would not be able to keep a certain date

   
   

Post delivery the problems I faced are -

1. the dining tables specifications were not as ordered - the cloth used in the chairs was different,

   
   




2. the table's alignment is not symmetrical. and

   
   




3. the glass top has scratches

   
   

I have been trying to get these fixed, but their staff continues to display the uncourteous behaviour of not returning calls or lying on dates when it would be fixed.

It is my strong reccomendation that customers do not buy from USHA Lexus - their product quality though slightly better than what you would get at say Kirti Nagar in New Delhi, is premiumly priced (by about 30-40%) and given the pathetic service they dish you out once you order is not worth wasting your time and energy. I regret buying from them and will certainly not be buying from them again in future.
