Tips on using international calling card
Apr 16, 2018 03:15 PM (via Mobile)

1.using your calling card-carrying you can buy calling cards at most convenient store and grocery stores or you can shop online pay attention too many minutes you have available on your car before making a call if you are buying a card from your store the plaque will have to activate the card for you before you can use it when you buy a calling card online you may not receive a physical card once you make your payment you will receive an access number and your pin.

  1. Is card comes with an excess number that you must dial before you can place your call the access number courier toll free number or a local access number

  2. Is card will provide you with a pin or personal identification number once you have dialled access number you will receive a prompt to enter your pin depending on the type of ecardio brought up in MI Ben eat a scratch off coating in some cases the pin be printed on the receipt.

4- when your call is connected you will have start using the minutes on your prepaid calling card the should give you an update on the number of minutes remaining before the call is connected.

3- after Your call has been connected you can talk as long as you have minutes when your minutes will finish just hang up.

When shopping for a calling card It's easy to get over whenever you can find cars intended for a particular region or cars that are of general international call some cards are only good for one phone call while others I love you to make several most calling cards disclaimers on the back of the card some of this disclaimers can be quite long in the print can be small Hawa it's worth it to read the disclaimer to find out exactly how the kaki function look out for the hidden face some calling cards have fee for everything you may find that is weekly maintenance reconnection fee post coffee and in some cases dialling fee also calling card rates can vary depending upon you are trying to call and what kind of car you have for example the rate to call Mexico city would be between 2 to 40 cent to call Udit Lama City you would pay between 7 to 49 sent this rate I'll able to increase if you are calling a mobile number there is a lot of conflict and information in the calling card industry sometimes the advertise rate on the card doesn't match with the rate you are actually received in some cases that it is lower but it's just slightly to receive higher it so you should see the rate of the company carefully.

So these are the general tips to be taken care of while using international calling card.

One World Service - A SHAM
Aug 11, 2015 11:54 AM

I had taken 2 SIMs from them for Greece from 12 July 15 to 27 July 2015.I was promised min rental @ 199, which was half of Matrix so I chose it.

Now I have been charged Rs. 499 each. The other card did not work at all and still I have been charged. Thus the actual charge which should have been 199 Plus tax is now 1000 plus

On the web, the feedback form also, does not work. You must chose Matrix over one world, at least there is a option to raise your issues and get it sorted.

Cheaper Ring123 Calling Cards to Call India
May 20, 2015 04:43 PM

On a official tour of six months, I was in Brooklyn, New York. As my parents are in Chandigarh, India, I had to make calls to them.

International call rates are really higher so not possible to use traditional number to call India. I searched some calling card companies and I tried different calling card providers. Out of all those providers, which I tried, I found Ring123 better. What was the best thing about Ring123 cards, it was their voice quality. I really liked that in comparison to others.

Call rates were genuine, cheaper with better voice quality, but their website structure was not up to standard. It may be possible, they had not updated their website. And I was looking for some kind of offer(free minutes or something like this), I did not get that.

One World Tele - Pathetic Experience
Feb 03, 2015 10:44 AM

I took 3 sim cards from OneWorldTele for Dubai. They gave me a lucrative offer of rent and charges. I specifically told them to deactivate the GPRS on these cards as I suspected this to be a grey area and can cause a disconnect. We made sure that our Mobile Data was switched OFF the entire trip. When we got the bill they charges us a bomb for the GPRS charges(the time of usage and the charges for 2 sim cards were exactly the same.how is this even possible) which we never used.

More over they took my credit card details and I told them to keep it only as a guarantee and I would make the payment in cash, of course they agreed to it. As soon as I got my bill I e mailed them of my dispute and told them not to charge my card and take cash once we resolve the dispute. they completely ignored the e mail and charged my credit card for all 3 bills which I had disputed from word go and now they are doing nothing about it. I plan on going to the consumer court with this and report to TRAI.

People do not be fooled by their cheap lucrative offers. They would rob you later with the Bill. BEWARE

KEKU Calling Card
Sep 04, 2014 01:43 AM

I am very happy with the service from Keku. I use it to call my family and friends in India. The service gives you a local number for your personal use that automatically connects to the phone of the person calling in India. For example, when you register, you enter your own phone and that of the person in India.

The system establishes a local number, whether in USA, Canada, Spain, or a host of other countries that connects directly with the person in India. If not calling from the registered phone, you need to enter a "PIN" number. In my case, I enter the local phone number Keku provides me into my cellular with the name of my cousin.

I click her name on my contacts and am connected directly. It is much easier than calling an access number, entering the number of the account, and then entering the number for my cousin. The quality is excellent. It appears that the app doesn't let you connect with your contacts, but by getting a local number registered to the international number you want to call, and entering that into your contacts, you can call without the use of the app. You can also register more than one phone number in India or another country, including cell phones. For each number in India or another country, Keku provides you with a different local number but all charged to the same account.

If when you sign up you enter the code 1471279, Keku will double the dollar amount up to$10. So if you deposit$10, you are credited$ 20. If in the future you refer someone to the service with your own reference code, not only do they get the bonus, but you also get the bonus for referring them.

One World Teleservices has Fantastic Service
Apr 25, 2014 01:18 PM

I travel to USA very frequently and I've always used Matrix SIM cards. But in my recent trip I used One World Teleservices and I was amazed. Their service is amazing and they charge SO less!

I took a postpaid connection and paid my bill in Rupees after I came to India. I realized Matrix was such a cheat as they charged me almost 10 times more.

Keku calling card with promotional code
Mar 30, 2014 11:42 PM

I used different calling cards services like Reliance, Raza, Bluevox, Pinless, Vonage and Keku. Among all, Bluevox is very cheap but call quality is very bad and even some times hear out of service message. The service of Vonage and Reliance is very good but its bit costly when we compare with others. Now I am using Keku for sometime and its good when we compare with others. Its within reasonable cost and voice clarity also good.

If when you sign up you enter the code 1471279, Keku will double the dollar amount up to$10. If in the future you refer someone to the service with your own reference code, not only do they get the bonus, but you also get the bonus for referring them. There might be a few services that charge a lower rate but none when you sign up with the code 1471279 and it is great having the ability to call with a single local contact number on your cell phone.

It is a even cheaper to call other countries. There is no charge for the connection or any monthly fee and the minutes are rounded to only the next minute.

If when you sign up you enter the code 453291, Keku will double the dollar amount up to$10. Apr 01, 2013 09:59 PM

I was using skype for very long to call to India but due to higher cost was thinking for alternative, I found this dunno, me and few of my friends bought a 1 month subscription. Upon using it found the quality is really bad on any wifi.

Firstly the call gets connected after trying for many times... each time u get the message service unavailable. What the hell?

I totally regret now.

Friends please take my opinion don't waste your money on this voip provider if you are searching for alternative.

Abuse from Welco Intotech, Icon Global, Cetafone
Dec 27, 2012 03:34 AM

After having discovered their scam with account manipulation and providing misleading information to other users,  I refused to recharge or renew my International calling card account.

This made those call center agents angry and made scored of calls to my mobile phone with abusive hindi slang words, which I was able to record, I will post it to youtube, you can clearly hear these callers sitting at Welco Intotech in Delhi and abusing their ex-customers. This is company is called Cetafone, a.k.a Icon Global Service, they have their call center in Welco Infotech. All these three companies are run by the same owners.

Reliance Global Call
Nov 25, 2012 05:57 AM

Reliance Global Call Fken Scks. ENOUGH SAID! I've recharged my account 3 times and every time I did it I was disappointed. It seems like their site is good to charge your account. There after everything will go wrong.

They have this promotion going that you can get unlimited access, however it' s not unlimited. For $15 you will get 2160 mins a month only if you use their toll free access number WHICH DOESN'T WORK TOO OFTEN! They also offer toll free number to complete your call but you will be pay higher price.

Should anyone else have something to add please do so cause I think they are running a scam.

Reliance India Express dial sucks
May 15, 2012 09:01 AM

I ended up paying 240 USD because of the buggy reliance india call express dial app for iphone. When I reported the incided to customer service, they first dragged the issue for 6 months and asked for all the proof. Upon providing the proof about the issue, they kept me going around in circles and finally said that they will not pay the expense. This is pathetic service to use if you live in US.

I will choose vonage anytime over these stupid reliance india call service. They sucks. and worst is their customer service.

Nobel international calling cards
Mar 03, 2012 05:55 AM

I purchased a Nobel calling card described to me by the salesperson as "the best" for my needs (calling the US from Mexico) and advertised as costing 1.5 cents per minute for their VOIP service on my cellphone and 3.7 cents from a land-line or cell phone.

Now that I've spend $95 for a calling card that allowed me to make a grand total of 7 hour-long phone calls, I know that was a misrepresentation.  Nobel customer service says, "Oh no, landline calls from Mexico to the US are billed at 18 cents a minute."  Funny that information is so different than the information I got before I spent the $95.   Disgusted, I then purchased a Confi phone card for $20 that allows me to make hour long phone calls for $2 each instead of $13.50 each!

Confi's advertising and their performance match exactly. Stay away from Nobel and go for a Confi card!

Amantel has some bad practices of autorecharge
Aug 07, 2011 06:06 AM

Read the terms and conditions, else you will see that your account is auto recharged for 10$ which is not highlighted during any registration flow. Also it never talks about the 1000 mins where its applicable.

So take this calling cacrd with your own risk.. They will keep rippping you off.

Even customer care talks to us with the law.. there is no curtesy or politeness. Since we are dumb asses not to read the fine prints companies like this make money by taking advantage.. I cannot believe this is happening in US.. God Save US.
