The Waffle Tree, Powai, Mumbai

I happened to be at this place with my friend when we were searching for waffles serving places on Zomato near powai. A very small Store with 2 to 3 tables and few sitting arrangement. Although it is a small place it has a lovely Ambience with neat and clean space. The food I had your was shahi tukda and Belgian waffle. The shahi tukda had perfect proportion of rabdi pistachios, Rose syrup and gulabjamun ! . This was one of the best waffles I ever had. The Belgian Waffle also had the perfect dark chocolate filling they also have option with white chocolate filling. The presentation of the food itself is mouth watering. If you are in Powai this is the best place to have waffles over here the service is very quick the staff is also friendly and courteous also the pricing of the food is satisfactory. The average cost for two people would be around 200 to 300 which is very reasonable. I highly recommend this place to others.

Why do we want to go to a restaurant? Well, the answer is for a good delicious meal. Some of you may go there for spending your spare time but the majority prefer to visit the restaurant only for having a great lunch or dinner with their family, friends, colleagues, etc. Right? Do comment your views.

I also belong to the majority as I prefer to go restaurant only for a good meal. Today, I'm going to share a rare experience which I had with a restaurant, 'The Waffle Tree'. I was on a family tour to my uncle's house who lives in Mumbai. It was the month of July( 2017) . We all decided to go to a restaurant and spend some quality time there. Now, I'm going to share the entire happenings that had taken place there on that day.

The restaurant was full of people and that leads to busy waiters moving all around the customers without noticing the new one. In the meantime, I was looking at the cost of different food items given in the menu card. I was completely horrified after watching the high price. I calmed myself but literally I was 'baffled' with the extra high price of 'Waffle'. Finally, after waiting for more than 15 minutes, an old waiter arrived, he asked us for the order. Looking at the old fragile man, I decided not to ask as for why he was so late but I was fully agitated.

After 25-30 minutes of giving the order, the food arrived with a nice presentation. All the items were kept in a stylized manner. I was pretty impressed as there was something to smile. We all were too hungry. All of us started eating without wasting any time.

But, the wonderful presentation was not followed by a meal of the same caliber.

The quality of food was not up to the mark. The pieces of meat were tasteless and the gravy was too oily. We had ordered a full plate of rice but received a small amount of rice about the size of a large tablespoon which was extremely salty. We all had the worst experience there. I made no complaint after the meal as I did not wish to indulge in any heat-conversation but I have shared the entire story here to make you people aware of that restaurant.

Going through Zomato, and looking for a good dessert place, I stumbled upon this waffle place. A small and cute little place, giving out welcoming vibes. As soon as you open the door, you are greeted by the wonderful aroma of baking waffles, and warm smiling faces of the staff.

I visited here, after a heavy meal so was not able to try thier waffle based food items, even though I was really tempted to. Settling for the dessert, we ordered NUTELLA CHURROS WAFDLE WITH NUTELLA, DARK CHOCOLATE BELGIAN WAFFLE & BROWNIE WAFFLE.

Each of them was better then the last one. First started with the Classic Dark Chocolate Belgian waffle. Golden brown waffles, crunchy and warm topped with a little dark chocolate on top. Their waffles were so amazing, that you would throughly enjoy them, even without any toppings! Great job!

They serve 4 Churros stick, topped with everyone's favourite Nutella. The warm and crunchyness of the churros makes the nutella melt, and the melt-in-the-mouth feeling is highly pleasurable! Churros is a new concept in the city, and it was even my first time trying it. I dont know exactlt how the authentic churros are, but what they served was nothing less than yummy!

Now, coming to the main and the best dish of the evening, Brownie waffle! The waffle is itself made form chocolate based dough, then topped with extra thick chocolatw sauce, chocobite chips, and a scoop of smooth vanilla icecream in the middle. The amazing combination of crunchy and warm waffle, chocolate sauce and cold icecream works really well together! A must try!

So The Waffle Tree is a great dessert place, and the pricing was apt considering the posh Powai locality. I wouls really love to try out their other mouth watering waffle based delicacies.

I was in powai last week and my friend showed me this place since its famous for its variety of waffles. This place is small in space but it is well maintained and has a very good ambiance with nice back ground music. The Menu card is well designed and as variety of things to choose from, the customer service is nice but we have to wait for a long time to get our order on table which can be understood since all waffles served here are freshly made.

We tried the Dark Belgian Waffles, the Churro Waffles and the Nutella Waffles all of them were freshly served and crispy. Although the quantity of it was quite low considering the amount we paid but the taste really compensated for that and the aroma of the waffles was mesmerizing.

I will definitely coming back to this place again and will recommend it to those who have love for waffles or want to try waffles for the first time.

Hey peoples I m writing my personal experience with waffle tree. I went with my friends 6 months ago. we thought that this is nice restaurant. we got in and sit. there is no menu for food after 20 minutes one waiter came for taking order. so we said a menu for our food. we thought customer service is good and after we taste our food we felt that we lost our money and time because it was not good food for your money and we decided that after this experience we will never come to this waffle tree. guys my suggestion is don't go there because you only waste your money and time both there.

The outlet is small and can occupy around 7-8 people at a time. The service is okay, the order takes around 10-15 minutes to get ready. There are some interesting wall hangings and the overall ambience is decent. The food quality and presentation is very good.

Some must try waffles are the red velvet waffle,

Shahi tukda waffle, brownie waffle and the Belgian waffle.

The food and the presentation of the restaurant is not so good or I can say it is worse as compared to other restaurants of same type . The Ambience is worst you will find the restaurant not properly clean and you will not find any menu and I can see properly designed menu which increase the look of a restaurant on any of the Wall of the restaurant . According to me many features like in this restaurant which make the Ambience of this restaurant worst . The customer service of the restaurant is good as when I complaint about the bad quality of food and their words presentation then the better take my plate back to the chef and taken a new plate for me but the food was again not tasty at all but this was not the mistake of waiters so I will give full marks to the customer service . Last I will discuss about whether the restaurant value for money or not according to me the restaurant is not value for money at all the rate of this restaurant are very much high as compared to other ordinary restaurants which have even more better quality than this restaurant. So you can know why all these aspects that the restaurant is not good at all.

At last I will not suggest you to go to this restaurant at any cost with your family, friends and anybody . When I visit The waffle tree with me and my investor friends for a coffee party because our stock is sold out in current year and when I waiting for waiter for listing order then their is no one to list up the order and does are present in restaurant they cannot interact with any people afterwards 20 min one waiter comes and listing the order very rudly behave and then I decided to leave because I cannot see my friends insult.

In 2015 the waffle tree are setup with a tree design restaurant for coffee and tea only and in 2016 it famous for all foods whether it is Chinese or Indian food and also a best and fast staff.

But in reality is totally incorrect thought.

So my 1 month experience with my personal opinion that don't go there only you waste your time and never you found any service because staff is decrease the goodwill of restaurant.

When I was on a trip, I went here.but my experience was not too good here.Coming to the points.1- Presentation here is very good but foods like Naughty neutella, China apple waffle, Smokey bites are not good according to price.each costs 150/- CRAP! 2- Ambiance is average.many peoples are going here and there inside restaurant.You will not feel free while eating. 3- Customer service is very very poor.You have to wait at least 20 minutes after ordering your dish.This is very disappointing. 4- Price is little bit high according to quality of food.most of the foods are of 150 rs. 5- So my opinion is think once before going here.in Mumbai lots of restaurants available which are better than this one.Thnks.
