You will get the jitters if your mobile has a problem because these guys will let you down. First of all they won't take your mobile till you scream at them. Once you do that, they will take months and not get back to you.


I bought a Sony Experia smartphone from this shop which failed during the warranty period. It took about 4 days of cajoling to get these guys to accept the phone for service. The phone was submitted on 28th September 2013 and till December 2nd, there is no news of it. Can service be this slow?


Avoid buying from The Mobile Store.

Service at the worst store 1016

The service which they are providing is utter waste and they don't even have manners to inform about their device status which went for Service. I submit my device on 7-11-13 and they convinced me to call me on next day and provide my note, which will be a proof for device submission.


Till today I didn't get any call once I called them they confirmed my device is service rejected by the servicing company.


Don't go for Mobile store extra warranty. You will get screwed if you do it.

We started using the mobile since then and we were finding difficulty with the touch screen as it didn’t move/alter or whatsoever movement it may be. The battery drained within half hour. Went to the mobile store on 30th of April, 2013, where it was purchased and was treated shabbily and driven to NOKIA SERVICE CENTRE. Over there at NOKIA CARE CENTRE, on 30th of April, 2013, shocked to learn  that the warranty is only up to 24th of December, 2013 as against 24th  of March, 2014 as we had purchased on the same date one year prior. The reason given to us by NOKIA CARE CENTRE was that the instrument purchase was logged in on 24th of December, 2012 with NOKIA. I came back to mobile store and explained for which they asked us to what ever we could do. I feel that I had been sold a sub standard instrument with deficiency in service from your store. To add insult to the injury, I called up your customer care and spoke to one Mr Tavesh(irony is that all the 5 times I followed up, he only picked up my phone), who registered a complaint with a reference no MSCO 10015932, mentioning that within 72 hours it will be set right, and this was on 30th of April, 2013. On Sunday, 5th of April, 2013, I called Mr Tavesh, since it was more than 120 hours, no one called me up. For which Mr Tavesh said that the complaint cell will not work on Sunday.  (pls refer you website which mentions 10AM to 10PM on all days including Sundays, with no reference to complaints). I called your call centre today i.e., 6th of may, 2013, and as usual Mr Tavesh picked up the call and asked me to call by 1 PM today, stating that no one is available in the complaint cell. After few exchange of good conversation he said, “definitely before 2PM, today(6th of May, 2013) that some one would call me. What type of call centre handlers you have put in, who could not even give concrete information, or is it the training imparted by you, is sub standard? Can you please attend me or at least acknowledge this mail, so that I feel that it will be a good case of ‘DEFICIENCY of SERVICES’ if not forgery of sales purchase.

Couldnt get worse-the mobile store!

I purchased sony ericsson xperia mini pro from the phoenix store.a problem occurred when the phone was under extended guarantee.the phoenix store refused to help, made me go to the sion store.**i submitted my phone on 26th feb 13, and till date i.e 6/04/13 my phone hasn't been repaired.


actually they called me on the 3rd of April to receive my phone, when I saw it I found they had **removed the front camera.then they also tried to convince me that the front camera never operated in this model!apart from all this, my phone also bears innumerable scratches on it now.


the major problem through out that I faced was that I was in touch with the floor manager(who has no authority, not even to give me the no of a senior) and for any complaint I was routed to a call centre or was expected to send a mail! And goes without saying, no help was rendered Trust me they are a whole lot  irritating, irresponsible and idiotic bunch of people.never buy anything from them!


By the way can I file a suit against them in the consumer court?

They sale used and duplicate product.

I wanted to buy a new handset and I decided to go to Mobile store but I realised that In mobile store they always sale duplicate products, though I was told by my friend that don't buy from mobile store but I thought how can a branded store can do such cheap activity.


In one week my Nokia Lumia phone started giving me trouble and when I approached them they were not only rude but refused to repair the same and when I got in touch with some local repairing person, I was shocked to know that the handset was duplicate and beyond reapiarable condition.

Worst experience of online shopping

I ordered a mobile from themobilestore.com on 26/8/12, today is 13/9/12 and I still haven't received the mobile. Mobilestore claim to deliver in 6 to 8 days its 18 days +. Every time I called them any they kept postponing the delivery date. I think all the liars are selected in mobilestore. The highly unprofessional company. I wrote 3 emails and not a single was answered.


The worst online shopping with the mobilestore.

I bought the above mobile phone in October 2010 and within two months ie. December 2010 it stopped working. Though it is under guarantee they told me to go to some Samsung gallery for repairs.


I went there and got it repaired but again next day the same problem occurred. I don't know whether the Samsung Co. is bad or Mobile Store.


Please don't buy Samsung products and also from Mobile Stores. They sell defective products. Even when I bought Samsung Video it also did not gave good response.

Don't shop at The Mobile store. They are cheeter

I purchase one mobile phone from The Mobile Store Bhayander. They told me we have cash back offer up-to 50% and Its a lucky draw system. I got 15% cash back coupon in lucky draw. The store in-charge told me to fill some document and told to send to chennai head office.


I filed everything and send to The Mobile Store head office with proper document. It was written in their form that after sending document within 30 days you can get cash back.


Now I waited for my cash back. It is almost 9 months back. Still I am waiting. Please don't ever shop at The Mobile Store.

The MobileStore is the best

On Sunday evening I purchased a Omnia i8910 Samsung Phone from the Mobile Store which is in Khadakpada Kalyan.


The phone is awesome as well as the service is a commendable one compared to your other stores or for that matter any store that I had visited. As a globe trotter, I visited many countries and had experience of stores handling customers, I feel your shop at Kalyan, Khadakpada is the best.


Let me explain the entire episode, which I thought is needed to be shared, and if the same inspres some of the sales men, then definitely I believe the same has reached.


I wanted to purchase the phone, and had visited stores in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kalyan, more than once. I would like to inform, that the service offered by your Kalyan Store is one of the best.


I was attended by Devi Prasad Paudel, Tilak Singh Bhaget, Sachin Awasthi, who not only explained me about the mobile very well, they had shown me all the specs, alowng with offering me other options, so that I can choose. The experience is a whole fruitsome experience, which I beilive is one of the best. Though, I had purchased 3 mobiles from your various stores, such experience is one of the best.


In a world where options exist, I strongly believe that service matters. This has once again got demonstroated by your team mentioned above. This is not just my own unique experience, the same is being done accross with others customers as well, and I congratulate and thank the manager of the store.


The talks are sweet and polite, the body language, is to help the customers and last but not the least is the courteous way of handling the customer, even if he has not purchased the cell and walks out and returns once again.


When performing my due diligence before purchasing a costly mobile, I visited all the stores in Mumbai, Kalyan and Secunderabad(my home town), but could get the best service only from Kalyan, Khadakpada branch and thank them once again for helping me get the mobile.

Dont TRUST these guys. They just know how to make money.


I had purchased a mobile which was having issues from the very begining. After 4-6 months of use the mobile gave problems for Nework. I gave 500 for repairing. The mobile was not with me for 3 weeks and I have to return the mobile twice for repairing as the issue was not resolved.


I called the guy(BASHIR) and informed him - I am taking the mobile to another guy for repair and asked to give my 500 back, He AGREED. Later my mobile worked fine after repairing from a different guy. After 3 days when I asked for the money he refuses and says that he has not told me anything about money refund.

  • Ideally a techician refunds the money if the issue is not been rectified.

  • These people are CHORS and I personally suggest not to deal with them.

  • These people carry a bad reputation in the entire area(Fountain). So think twice before you deal.

Unethical Business Practices

I checked rates on their site, they showed 12000 for Mumbai for a cell phone but on the next (checkout page) the price was 14000. Their customer registration page has small (taluk) places for CITY field but Navi Mumbai is missing. T


he site constantly throws error messages, even after you enter credit card details. But the worst is something else: They show really low prices for cell phones that are not in stock at all. For example, I checked the E90 price- at 25000, it's far lesser than list price, but it's simply not available with them. They use these gimmicks. It's a sad site and the business lacks ethics.


If that's not enough, their prices are higher than those at most other resellers. You would expect them to have lower prices than others as they are (claim to be) big mobile sellers but wrong. Even E-Zone can often give lower prices. But yes, you can bargain with the Mobile Store guys and they will reduce 5% ish. All in all, a cheap brand. I would not recommend anyone buy from the mobile store. For Nokias in India, concept stores are the best, followed by priority dealers and big retailers (ezone, chroma ). The advantage at Mobile Store, probably, is that they have a large catalogue but I find them shady and will avoid dealing with them unless absolutely necessary. On that note, India still lacks a credible cellphone selling site or store chain.

Free Sennheiser bluetooth headset

I purchased NOKIA 5800 music edition mobile phone from "The Mobile Store" (Address:- Plot #118, Ground Floor, 80 Ft Road, Koramangala Indl Area, Koramangala, Bengaluru - 080 64529778)


Vendors in the store told me that soon I will be getting a sennheiser bluetooth headset free with the phone as They were having a lack of gift stock at that time.


They wrote same on the bill with their stamp on it. Now they are saying that It was a mistake from their side and they cannot give me the above stated headset !!!When I said that I will complain their head office then they asked me come next day and tried offering me a local bluetooth head set costing some 400-600 bucks !!!Then I made a complaint by calling their customer care but till yet no reply !!!!I will suggest you to think twice about the offers provided by Mobile store before purchasing the stuffs.In my review Sangeetha Stores are far better with better offers and services.

Unprofessional sales staff

I bought a Nokia 7610S from The Mobile Store at Powai. Turns out the phone was defective. When I immediately reported the problem to the store keeper(2 hours time frame), I was informed that the problem was due to dust on the speaker of the phone & could be resolved only by the service center!


Further, when questioned how dust could have got on the speaker, unless the piece was a second hand unit! I was screamed at & offered no reasoning or help.


Store keeper named "Shafi" offers 3 day exchange when you purchase. But doesn't honor it.


I prefer "Planet M" because they have a back up phone if at all you have to get your current piece serviced. Also the price difference is very marginal. I am currently stuck with a two day old defective Nokia and have to wait it out at a service center queue. Only now do I realize that Planet M was only Rs.200 costlier! That too they would have given me a 2 year warranty!
