I was initially very spectical about the place. On earlier occasions, I had some how managed to get out of plans to meet thee for various occasions. I think it was the boats that I thought would make me nautiatic. But I finally had to go as there was an unavoidable situation. The walk from the entrance to the boat area, was amazing as the small bridge reminds you of some romantic film. the boat ride was splended, one had to wear safety jackets. once you reach the barge, there is this East Asian lady wellcoming you. (very Warm). the lower deck is red. I mean really RED. The entire decor is red with red couch and red lights. It gives you feeling of being in Las VEgas in some dar or something. The sitting arrangement was beautiful, very comfortable looking with pillows all over the place. Surprsingly the boat wasnt shaking as much as I assumed it would.
The upper deckis amazing with open terrace look.
There are some fancy arrangemnt there as well. the sitting is extremely comfortable. you would love to sit there and stare into the sky. Its the most ramantic place for a quiet coochy dinner. AS in they dont have much on the menu, as it is extremely limited. More emphasis on Starters and alcohol.
One must be there and sip on some red wine. One must definately check that place out. Its one of its kind inMumbai.

This restaurant situated at Marine Drive, and one has to get into the boat to get to this very informal place. The food is continental being starters basically, and drinks served afcourse. Well I should say its like an island restaurant. It Takes aprox 7 min by boat to get there. One has to wear a life jacket while on board the boat. The restaurant is dimly lit. the sitting is on the deck(open) and below too is good seating. The service offered is quick, but basically stats to get full by 10pm. The music is not too good as the day I visited there was some Arabic kind of music and sounded the same again & again. But the scenic beauty of marine drive comes alive . Though the plac is not recommended for people having sea -sickness. A small place but worth a try. A weekend special.
