Sports at Sri Shakthi has evolved wonderfully over my four years of college life.

We have seperate skilled coaches for every sports, and also we have wonderful grounds.

The college management has provided us with all the sports equipments and also flood lights for extra hours of practice sessions.

We also get recognised by our college management in sports day with some rewards and awards.

Hence sports at Sri Shakthi is better when being compared with other institutions.

I would like to register this because someone would get awareness. They collected my phone no. from dinamalar exhibition stall. They called 3 or 4 times daily and asked to just visit their campus.

My experience with this college started with my daughter's admission process. My daughter, who is a brilliant student, and who was also a school topper with 490 marks in SSLC, scored less in HSC owing to personal health reasons. This particular college collected our data from the fair conducted by "Dinamalar" in Codissia complex. That is when the pestering started, we would receive calls at least twice a day demoralizing us saying that our cutoff would not be eligible to secure a seat in their college. They offered us a captation of 200, 000, plus the annual fees of 120, 000, etc., (excluding bus fees and the like).

As I started reasoning with them(in their campus, on a Sunday), they offered us BE BioMed, presumably with the loweset captation available in their college of 100, 000. As keen as I was to see my daughter's education through, I asked them what the scope for that particular group was. I was flabbergasted when a councillor told me that she could become a "Medical Coder"(which does not require any degree for the most part); this is a 2 month course and requires a little bit of medical reasoning and general logic, and the salary would be around 60, 000 maximum after about 7 years of service, in India. What crap are they trying to do our kids intellect and education?

Why the hell would someone spend around close to 8 Lakhs to get trained in a field that requires only 30, 000, as training fee and 35, 000 to appear for coding certification exams?

At last, my daughter just got her shortlist confirmed through counselling, and we actually downgraded this college to another college that actually offers the same group(ranked much higher than this college) a few days back.

So much for making money.

This college has a bad management. The administration office and the staff were bad I have ever seen. People were becoming very lazy to do their work. The salary given to them is totally waste. The placement cell is there. But they have not taken good company for the students. My friends have lost their precious engineering life in this institute

After her degree gets completed she called by the company where she is placed by the institute. The principal and the chairmen were money minded persons. They don't even think about students life

The lab facility in IT department only few machines work, remaining were repair. Hope the mouthshut forum members can now understand the real fact about the college.

Sri shakthi institute of engineering and technology is a real place for students to develop themselves in educational wise along with many co curricular activities and many aspects like placement in reputed company, even a student can run a business to become a pioneer.

It has a team of faculty members in assisting the students to get placement in multi national companies such as infosys, accenture, syntel, hcl, mahindra systems, saint gobain and many more companies.

Its not about getting a degree, teach some humanity too. dont kills animals this way.what values and education are you giving to d students. Education here is itself wothless! Horrible college and needs to be shut down. no basic humanity! ??????????????

Being a student in SIET, we can enhance our knowledge with our career vision.placement was good for some departments.Infrastructure was good.equipments should be changed(old one). students can develop their skills by using this good platform.thank you

Greetings.Being a student of SIET am glad to say that the college is taking numerous measures to bring out the best in students both in academics and extra curriculars.There are many clubs in the college which readily allow students to expose their talents in whatever way they could.To be precise am being benfited by all the clubs in the college which is being a very good platform to uncover my talents.Podium club of CDC helps me in developing my language skills and to mention as a participant and the winner of QUIZZARD jr2017 I should admit that it was very well organized where it made me realize my aptitude skills.I whole heartedly appreciate the efforts taken by CDC and I request them to conduct such great competitions hence forth.

Its good infrastructure and best mode of education. Best eco friendly campus and good education systems. All students get good exposure towards the particular degree. Highly qualified professor are appointed and they are very much friendly towards the students.

Now I am studying final year B.E mechanical engineering final year. It is one of the developing college in Coimbatore. My college provide good placement for all students. But mechanical engineering students only suffered by placement.our college staffs are brilliant . Some staffs are gate score.

Administration:

-High fees, minimum 1 lack for a counseling student. Never gave correct receipt for the bills we pay. Tedious process to apply and receive scholarships.

Infrastructure:

-Only 2 buildings for academic purpose. laboratory standards are low.

• a poor library facility.

+the environment is very good . greenish campus to enjoy but mostly we are not allowed to utilize the places. campus will be clean and it never gives a college feel. class rooms are spacious and good

Education

-marks are the only motive. never thought why we learn the subjects.

• most of the staffs are below 25 years of age. lack of experienced professors.

-most of the time u will be writing some test. the only way to learn is self study.

Extra curricular

+the biggest plus of the college is the value added courses. which is unique about the college. no other college provides these much value added courses in and around Coimbatore.

+The club activities are fair.

• almost zero cultural activities/events.

Hostel/Food/Transportation

+hostel facilities are good. safer and hygienic rooms.

food is not worth for the fee u pay. but better food when compared to some other colleges.

-the water in the campus is full of salt. its irritating when u bath are u use for washing.

-transportation to the college is only possible through college bus or your own vehicle. no public transport facility available. u need to travel atleast 4 km to reach a good hotel/shop/hospital or any other amenities.

+sports facilities are good, a good support to the sports persons

+the campus is so pleasing. anybody visiting will be attracted.

+placements are fair.

+can learn something out of engineering.

+motivation for student projects are high

• its location makes it difficult to access.

This college does not have a good management and administration office and staffs are the worst I have ever seen....people there are very lazy to do the their work for what they have been paid...the placement cell is just for an eye was only they do not bring any proper companies and even my classmates have lost their valuable period.

After completing the course that he will be called by the company in which he was selected...only 10000 price difference for merit and management students...the chairman and secretary are only money minded they are not bothered about students education and lab facility in mechanical department only few machines work remaining all are scrap...

SRI SHAKTHI INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY is located in Coimbatore and comes under the jurisdiction of Anna University Coimbatore. They have been falsely advertising about rewards to students but none of them have been awarded as per the advertisement in their website. This complaint is intended for two reasons:

1. Anna University jurisdiction is made aware of the wrong advertisement of one of the affiliate colleges under them.

2. Students who are attending counselling are made aware of the wrong information

Heard that when enquired, college authorities informed that this is for the current batch(incoming batch), where as the advertisement has been featuring in their college website for more than 3 to 4 months now

First any one say this are we getting correct recipt for the fees we payin in the name of our coll? No we are gettin the recipt in the name of (SENGODA GOUNDER TRUST).. Not in the name of (SIET). This one clearly can reveal how the management is cheating the students and their parents. Even this trust bill cannot be used in any bank for educational loans.

Atleast tat trust bill is true means thats also not true it'll be like charging for refreshment, bus fare, notebooks, lunch etc. In this am not coming by bus not taking lunch in hostel and also I pay separate for refreshment and books.Those who are going to pursue education here and  planning to get educational loan please  don prefer this college you wont get educational loan at any time with this.......

Almost finishing off the first year in this college with a great experience throughout all the time. Starting with the infrastructure of the college very well constructed and maintained, the greenery all around and inside the campus a pleasant environment for the students to live their best part of life. Well maintained classrooms with all facilities required for an Engineering Student. Speaking about the studies, its no where compromised aside of fun, entertainment and sports activities in the college. Lot of support from the teachers and management side encouraging in academics as well as co-curricular activities to the students. Apart of this number of national events in college keeps one in a good relation with technology.

Staying in hostel is almost being at home with your family where you have all your family members of your age. The food is good provided in the mess along with the canteen facility. Shakthimaidan(Gym & indoor games region), basketball, volleyball, Badminton, Kabaddi court, along with Cricket and Football grounds with all sports equipment serve all time to the students. Along with this television facility in Mess keeps entertainment also a part in everyone's life. College library and digital library provides a supplement to the academics, and its available to be reached also after college hours.

Checking about the placements for present year its been good so far for seniors and am sure to go for a good one by the time my turn comes up. Always cheering up environment in college also by seniors acts a positive sense in the college. Hoping out this journey will continue this way in future.

My Institution breathes with a great purpose. Like all other Engineering colleges various courses offered, but with a difference. Most of our faculties are more or less like my teachers of my schooling. I am able to feel their affection and interests in our welfare. A few teachers are very strict and they ensure that we feel the intensity of the subject. Teaching of course is the noblest profession in this world. My college has taken lot of interest in inviting a large number of professors, lecturers, and learned men and women, from BARC, ISRO, IIT and a few top MNC companies like HP, Bosch, Ashok Leyland, L & T etc., to our college for seminars and guest lectures due to which we could get more exposure in different fields.

My college has Affiliations with a few Corporate and Universities worldwide. We do have an Online Career Mentorship Program and while involving myself in a few programs of my college I could feel that our placement department is taking initiatives in core Industry. Most of my seniors have toiled hard to come out successfully in the placements campaign.

I am of the view that readers who are going through my article know the importance of “CERTIFICATION” – the yardstick or the method with which the corporate judge your capability – a very important criteria to ensure that you are industry specific.

Free zone. But for the highway traffic there is no noise pollution within our college campus. A few teachers have submitted thesis papers to IIT also.

Life is a two way traffic. The path that leads to depth of success. This article is my personal view and I stand by this. I welcome constructive criticism for an overall positive development.
