I purchased Sony D-F200 cd player in 2002 from THE WIZ in NYC (usa). Now I have moved to India.
Well about the product, its one of the top class cd walkman, which comes with a stylish headphone with crystal clear sound. The Price was about $76.86 including 8% tax. When I purchased it, it was on sale, its real price was above $80,well its worth it.
Its been about 1 and a half year and its still working as good as it was when I first bought it from The Wiz. The best part of this cd walkman is that it has AM/FM, ESP skip protection, good bass and power requirement is so low that 2 AA sized batteries work for about 20 hours without a doubt.
It was only last year, when by mistake my cd player fell off the rack about 7 feet high. The main cover came off. I was like omg. But it took no more then 5 mins and I fitted in the cover so easily. And believe me it suffered many accidents still no change in performance or even any scratch...
I m lucky to buy this SONY D-F200. This is one of the highly recomended disc man<>
Today is 12/06/05.
After enjoying Sony D-F200 for over three years, I have come to know that it still works as fine as three years back. The bass is as well, all push buttons still working fine...And I still use it about 1 hr daily, battery consumtion is negligible (rechargeable).
To sum it up:
Sony D-F200 is one of the hard to find DISKMAN, no longer available @ WIZ, circuitcity, ebay...
