Sonari Airport, India (IXW) Jamshedpur

Hello friends today I am sharing my personal experience with Sonali airport Jamshedpur is quite small airport away from the city which is very tough for passengers to travel from City to airport they just need to have their personal vehicles or need to book a cab overall I went there because I have a flight with SpiceJet airlines from just Jamshedpur to Ajmer when I observe the airport is not clean and the sitting the waiting room for passengers is very small no hygiene was concerned to them when we talk about its infrastructure it's totally average no high class we can see there when we talk about security there are only 527 cards which are roaming there and machines from which the check is totally old I think it's my last visit there I will not use this airpot after such a bad experience when we talk about the staff the thing they are the king and we are there followers they are not listening me properly they are in their zone overall this my very bad experience with therefore I will never use this again

And I also want to suggest you there are much better option near you then this small and facility less airport Sonali airport India my pathetic experience

Hi, I thought of sharing my opinion about Sonari Airport, Jamshedpur.

Well this is a small airport but the staff here have a big-time attitude and rude enough. It is not that clean and looks worst than a Railway Station. The public toilets are uncleaned and stinks. It has got a poor infrastructure. the trolleys are broken, fans doesn't work and looks like its totally misused. No proper cab facilities and can experience the shortage. The drivers sand for money due to the scarcity.

I'll never visit again.

Sonari airport is in the State of Jharkhand which has only unscheduled chartered flights from Kolkata and that too for the particular visit of politician, businessman, or Government official for some particular assignment purpose. This airport has no general public mobility and hence there are no scheduled commercial flights for passengers.

The airport is very small or you can say it is an air strip with simple and small infrastructure just to deal with the chartered flights. Also, you will not find any amenities and general public utilities in the terminal. Nor there is any hang out place. Considering the few flights and simple infrastructure, there are few staff personnel who just take care and manage the landing of flights, that's it.

Today, it is just used for chartered flights and in future also there is no propaganda to convert it into an active airport because Jamshedpur airport is the only preference for air mode of travel from this part of the State. Hence, it is not recommended for public travel through air mode.
