Nice 10 room facility with large open campus on the river side. The lodge provides clean hygienic rooms and fresh linen. Food served is home made with lots of organic options. Best option as a base camp for Nanda Devi National park Trek. Its much better than the crowded joshimath

The river side shepherds lodge Devangan is located at the gateway to Nanda Devi National Park. The connectivity is intermittent and thats a boon for people like us who are sick tired of this dog collar. The rooms are basic but really clean and bed Lenin was fresh. Recommended for those who are looking for a nice off road location with basic amenities. Also an ideal place for families with young kids. There is private parking, plenty of space and options for hiking and browsing around. The food served is home made. There is no TV in the campus.
