Sapphire Store, Bangalore

My uncle saw a toy here for his son.

He quoted it's price as rs 21k.

But later we got the same toy for rs 7k in city market.

He is making money in name of showroom and makes advantage of crowded shopping areas, quotes heavy rates.

Don't go here.

I always purchase toys from this shop but first time went to exchange few items on the same day which we bought and billing staff was so rude and denied saying cannot exchange... I recommend people not to buy from there because no gaurantee or warranty on products and also no exchange...

I never expected this from such a big shop... I believe sapphire will definitely loose more customers leaving bad experience for them

Sapphire is famous when come to toys but these days they are the worst the product don't last for even a day I bought cars in Sapphire they dint last for a day it stopped working when asked they said these are Chinese products we cannot guarantee I aksked them why do you charge so much when no guarantee is give none opened their mouth sad customer service I suggest not to buy from Sapphire anymore

1. I am using Sapphire Store with a long time for shopping purpose with my family. Sapphire Store parking is so good and available space every time for parking.

   
   




2. Sapphire Store has good look inside and outside. I disappointed with it because this store has short product range and some product is not available every time. I also disappointed with customer service.

I have been visiting the other branches of Sapphire for about 8yrs now. My visit to the Banashakari shop was beyond disappointing. The staff do not know how to handle children. They do not allow the toddlers to touch n feel the little rubber toys even. On giving the feedback to the store manager the response was not satisfactory. Itz a great store, wish some one at the management would straighten up the customer service and make it kid friendly. AFTER ALL . IT IS A TOY SHOP.

I had this worst experience in this shop. The people over here including the store manager(as if he thinks, he is owner of entire sapphire) is so bloody money minded and have zero knowledge about customer care and these people are running that shop. Dammit it's a child toy shop n not a fancy store. People here are not helping the people and rather think, that they running a shop on roadside. Worst customer experience one could ever have and I urge the people, who read this review, not to get into this shop. There are lot of toy shops in Bangalore, where you can get better quality than this shop and also a people in other places know, what customer care is all about. Don't waste your time, getting into this place.

Pay 25 to 30% jacked up prices and be followed by a group of uneducated and uncultured store attendants(read: security guards) who would make your buying experience a nasty one by standing right next to you with few inches with glaring eyes keeping a watch on everything you check from their racks and follow you like your shadow everywhere you go making you feel uncomfortable every second you spend in their stores. if your child tries to touch or take a toy in their hand their attendants would rush to him/her with a panic and rudely ask the child to keep the toy back immediately. All these with the instruction from the owner would never apologize for the misbehavior of his staffs(and rather would encourage them to do the same over and over). Toys they sell are as unreliable in quality(popularly termed as'Chinese' in Indian market) as they would offer in any local small time shops in your neighborhood and they there would be no replacement / refund or even recheck on these toys once sold. certainly not expected from a'Big Store' like that of Sapphire's. I have purchased toys from them for years.but recently have vowed not to visit them "EVER AGAIN" following a very unpleasant affair pushing their nonsensical behavior beyond limits.

The worst customer experience in the world. They sold me and my wife the most expensive doll house on the floor- recommended by 3 associates no less.

There was no specific descriptions of parts and what they are made of on the box. And this is where we wrongly trusted the store. on opening- we realized the dollhouse was simply a plastic she'll, had cheap cardboard walls, and floors, with cheap plastic furniture pieces that were actually broken.

We called them within an hour, and took it back the next day. I faced the rudest behavior I have ever seen from the sales staff. Pure lalagiri.

The store manager- a mr Shammi, actually told us his job was not to help customers, but sell any product. Manufacturer se aaya hai.bechna hai. Also that oh! All doll houses have cardboard walls. We just don't know J I told him to please look at the other doll houses on the floor  know he was BSing

This was the behavior of the store manager and all I can say is that they've lost 2 valuable customers. I literally walked out of the store and left my refund just because of how rude the store manager was. Im going to stick to amazon where I can trust reviews and know I can return items if they are bad quality.

I purchased radio control car for Rs 1400 and it just lasted for 1 day and after that it stopped working . If you pay 1400 for toy you expect it be good in quality . These guys do not have any quality of the toys that they keep at the stores . This was my second experience, earlier I had the same issue when I bought piano from them . It was almost 2 years back during that time they took it saying they will check for  repair which never happens and finally I have to take it back without any repair. Now a days they are putting instructions in store that NO REPAIRS  WILL BE DONE . Not worth at all to buy toys from them as good as buying from from road side shop

Never visit this SAPPHIRE big TOY shop which has 3-4 branches in Bangalore because you would get quality and guidance both without asking.

Sapphire has the following of uneducated, unaware of market standard and somewhat backward, racist people who have'n't seen any big stores in their life.

1.They have cheap Chinese product quality toys with high pricing

2.They have thankless and non-courteous behaviour as when you come back to them for product purchased worth Rs. 1200 for exchange cos it is malfunctioning. they would roll their heads like lizards by virtue of their upbringing and culture.

3.You take a product from them and then go to another shop. they would ask u not to park your vehicle anymore. EVen the owner thinks he is some lull sheik . He should be aware that CUSTOMER Is king and few dissatisfaction would lead to downfall.

Instead, choose BEANSTALK store of Mahindra brand which would be on the same floor as MOM &ME

Sapphire is one of the older toy stores in Bangalore.  They are in at least 3 prime locations(Richmond road, Jayanagar 4th Block & Koramangala) in multi-thousand square foot spaces and have been in business forever(at a very visible/well known corner location on Brigade road which they moved out of a few years ago).  Despite all this, that they have going for them, Sapphire presents a curmudgeonly, small trader type mindset where the seller is king.  Once the transaction is done and the money is in their hands, the customer is reduced to a nobody.

I wouldn't even risk censure by trying to negotiate a return with them.  Management is small minded, frosty, unfriendly and believes they always know better than their customers.  It is only the absence of any close competition, whatsoever, that has allowed them to survive and prosper.

When you buy they will insist on billing you before checking the contents(which is understandable in some ways - but they treat you with complete distrust when they tell you this), then charge you even the 1% more that say the batteries needed for the purchase will cost you and the 1% more for gift wrap.   It is way beyond the pale to expect a store like this to have things like demo toys - which would at least differentiate them from the small corner shop.  At the moment there is truly nothing to and other than their unquestionably large(although fairly standard and unimaginative) selection you have little reason to shop here.

Their mostly young staff are perhaps not to blame, but Sapphire's management has a very long road to travel to give their customers a quality buying experience.  You'd expect infinitely better from the flagship toy store in a large city like Bangalore.

I have been going to Sapphire Toys for some time both at the Richmond Road and Koramangala stores,  and my feedback is not good. Yes they have lots of variety of toys which are also cheap in price, but the cheapness extends to their quality too.

The first time I had first bought a bicycle for my 3 year old which had to be taken to repair shop the very next day as the wheels and handles were wobbling. After that almost 90% of the items I bought from them had to taken back for repairs. They keep cheap Chinese toys which break or don't work the moment you come of the shop, and funny thing is they don't replace.

I am not asking for refund, but they should atleast replace any defective toys. They say we are not responsible. When I spend good money I expect good quality products and if they can't provide me that I am not going to that shop again!

This store is located in Jayanagar, Bangalore. It's a toy store. I recently purchased radio controlled toy car and it lasted only for 10 mins. I immediately returned to the store for an replacement. However the store keeper is neither ready to replace nor refund. One more observation is that the first piece I took was defective and that was found in the shop it self, the second piece he tested in store. It worked fine over there. But lasted only for 10 minutes after it was used in the house.

The store keeper argument is that I tested in shop so it has to be fine. Now think about it. What kind of product lasted for 10 minutes. The product cost for Rs. 350.

All these arrangements and checking the product in the store and later saying that it was tested itself shows that they are big cheaters and they knew that product would be defective and will be returned back to store soon.

More over the store keeper were very rude when we arrived for the second time. He was not paying any attention to us rather he was playing video games and trying to avoid us.

In spite of tell that I would move to Consumer court, he did not budge.

I would say that no body should any products from this store. Pas this message to all, especially people in Bangalore.
