Worst Customer Service !!!

I visited Royal Oak furniture showroom in Banaswadi, Banagalore. Purchased 2 beds(1 King size, 1 Queen Size) and 2 mattresses.


We received both items on time. Technician also came very next day for installation.


When he opened boxes, he realised the box contain planks of same side for King size bed and also while installing Queen size bed, one of the plank seemed to be curved.


So he raised a complaint for Changing the plank and told me that once we receive correct plank, he will do installation and fix queen size bed as well.


After that real trouble started. There was no communication from Royal Oak for 3-4 days. So I began wondering if the complaint is really raised or not.


I called technician and Royal oak person(+91 7406175522) and got to know that complaint is raised.


Royal oak person told me that they will send it on Monday(i.e. 7 days after raising complaint) as there seems to be some problem with inventory. I waited till monday.


Called the guy on Monday to which he replied on message "Sir in meeting will call you" and he never called back.


I called him the next day, he switched off the phone. Then again next day, he was once again in meeting and didn't call after meeting. He is yet to call back after 5-6 days.


Meanwhile I also called Royal Oak Customer care number(+91 7676367636). They also seem to care least about Customers and keep giving you next dates.


Moreover they lie about why delay is happening and each time you get to hear different reasons.


DO NOT BUY ANYHTING FROM ROYAL OAK!

We have paid the total amount for a sofa cum bed. We were told we will received in 15 days. It is over 2 months still they have not delivered the sofa. Now they have stopped picking my phone calls and do not reply my whatsapp messages. Dont ever buy from Royal Oak.

BEWARE of ROYALOAK KORAMANGALA; the worst vendor we can think of. WE bought a dining table set costing Rs 99000/-. we found a defect in the chairs that came along and intimated to the store. about 4 oeople came and saw.and said that they would replace the chairs. the have been dragging for a month and nothing has happened so far.we dont know whom to contact.

I bought a houseful of furtniture from the Royal Oak Store in Krishnagiri for a house I purchased in Tiruvannamalai. Unnati Vashista the Regional Customer Service Manager was extremely helpful in ironing out issues with availability of a few items and liased with Murali, the store manager who even opened his shop early so I could pick up yet another item of furtniture that wasn’t in stock earlier. the dining table had a defect and was replaced within a few days and Anbu the assembler came specially the next day to fix issues with the queen size bed. Unnati’s untiring assistance and the helpful nature of the staff at the Krishnagiri store will forever remain etched in my mind each time I look at the superb furniture they supplied. I can’t say the same of their Thalaghattapura store in Bangalore. The manager seemed disinterested, extremely unhelpful and didn’t return my call about a certain item of furniture after promising he would do so within half an hour.


Marble Top Dinning Table

We purchased a neon top marble dinning table from the Bannerghatta Road store on July 2022. Recently we noticed that the chip has come out from one of the edge of the table. We immediately contacted the store and they asked us to raise a complain with the service team, so we raised the complain. The service was done and the table top was delivered in 7 days. We noticed that during the service the polished surface of the table has been removed and they delivered a matt finish table.


Although we did not like the matt finish but thought we will live with it. Thereafter we notice that anything falls on the marble top is easily getting absorbed in the marble like water, curry etc. As a result, we again went back to the service team after discussion with the store [Mr. Pasha] and a complain was raised. It has been more than 2.5 week, after repeated follow up, the service team says they cant ractify the issue.


The customer services manager Mr. Loknath is well aware of the issue but even after repeated attempts to contact him, he does not take the call neither wants to talk. If I follow up, then I get a one liner email, saying "we are sorry, we cant fix it". In this regard I have contacted the service team, Mr. Pasha many times but till today having no solution. The chip out issue was less severe issue in comparison to the issue that we have now. If service team had to remove the coating, they should have informed me and explained about its consequences. Mr. Loknath said after the service, they were supposed to do a Gas Treatment which was not done, as a result this issue has happened.


The table is still in warranty it was bought for 1.2 Lakh. I should not be cheated like this. If it is your fault, you should also fix it. I will publish this in every possible social media platform, so that people do not get into this kind of problem that I am going through.


Cheap furniture & pathatic customer service

This is just a cheap trading company with absolutely no regard for customers. They import cheap furniture from Malaysia and China and sell it in their showrooms. You are treated well till you make a payment against your order. Once you have made the payment, you are kind of trapped. The warranty promise is only an eyewash. They will not listen to your complaints or requests. The customer support is frustratingly pathetic. Wouldn't ever buy from them again.

I recently brought a 5 seater sofa from royal oak and the quality and the customer support is very very pathetic. It’s been almost close to 2 months and my new sofa which had issues has not been replaced . I have to do multiple follow ups every day to replace . My sincere advice please don’t go with this company .

Product quality is very very worst


I bought a cot in January'2022 for 28k. Initial delivery is not good. they packed different colors, and broken pieces. Then after a long fight, they replaced a few. I adjusted with some broken old pieces of legs. Within one year, the side of the cot is broken. Please note, they are delivering many joined pieces. It won't be stable for more time and it will break soon. Then customer care will chime in and ask rupees for to fix it.Thus you will end up in paying more money to maintain the worthless product.


I am replacing the joined crapy pieces in to a single piece from other shop. It is costing 9k more now. So, for the worthless cot I paid 28K+ 9k.

(SQ-2022-00113678)this matter is going on since 4 weeks now and I’m shocked that neither Royal Oak furniture Sarjapur store not customer care team even bother to reply on email or knows what the process for refund is. Or they are playing tactics to not leave the money? They are creating disease in name of service and it’s spreading in their nerves. Such a chaotic behaviour does not deserve even a half star. I will log a Consumer case in 24h if this is not resolved. Bank started charging me for the product which is canceled on the same day at store( as it was a consumer loan). Royal oak received the money instantly but seems not Willing to refund. I spoke to Priya Lakshmi , Royal oak CC supervisor and many other team members and they are master in playing the game to push this issue to store and store push back to CC team. Today again when I called Royal oak CC states that store have not canceled yet. Do customer needs to struggle between your unorganised unclean process? Not taking responsibility, not responding and not even acknowledging the email does not make you free form service obligations. I will reach out to Royal oak CEO and let him now that this pathetic service is spreading like cancer and can easily bring down his credibility which he would have build so far. It’s chronic now. I did not wanted to post such comments but left me with no option. See you in consumer court.

As discussed please find the attached visiting & ID Card of Mr. Vikas Kapani - Crime Editor @ News24. As promised for some special discount waiver, due to worst customer service experience with Royal Furniture / Royaloak - Sector - 10 Noida..


We already informed Royal Furniture in regards to our worst customer experience & dissatisfaction towards Royal Furniture / Royaloak.


Reason - Around 1.4 Years back we bought one Italian Marble Dinning Table of 65000/- Rs. in exchange offer. From Mr.Vineet as senior employee of Royal Furniture, sector - 10 Noida.


So we decided to exchange our old 5 seater sofa set in valuation of 7000/- Rs.


So we paid 58000/- Rs + our old sofa set of 7000/- Rs.


Total Amount - 65000/- Rs.


After paying the total amount, it was told by Mr. Vinnet Sr. Employee of Royal Furniture, that we are going to receive our new Product (Dinning Table) within next 10-12 days. And prior to that they will send someone to collect our exchanged product - Old 5 seater sofa set.


We agreed to the terms. Since then we only kept waiting and followed up for the same. Every time it was told by Mr. Vineet that he's sorry for the inconvenience and we are going to receive our Dinning Table in next one week. After this no one called us to deliver our new product or to collect our old sofa set in exchange offer. And we continously followed up with Mr. Vineet and other customer service people. Every time it was told that in next couple of days we are going to receive our product. And every time we convinced ourselves thinking that its last time. So almost after two months approx someone called my wife Mrs. Swaty Kapani that he is coming to collect our exchanged items sofa set, and also the person who called was surely to much intoxicated. That he was not able to talk properly and he only kept on calling that day till night, by giving us time. We seriously waited for him to pickup our exchanged item. Then that person suddenly started talking bullshit with my wife. Somehow she managed and hung up on him and that person never called my wife after that. In fact we did followup with that person very next day and we tried to connect with Vineet. But no one ever answered, day by day our frustration and our worst customer experience with Royal Furniture was only rising infact about to blast like volcano with senior staff of Royal Furniture. No one ever came back to us or explained us for such worst experience with Royal Furniture. Firstly I would like to mention, This is the kind of customer service experience Royal Furniture gives to there customers after receiving full payment of there product. Not even they just take money, they don't even deliver our product till now, which we bought from there sector - 10 Noida Royal Furniture outlet. We as loyal customer of Royal Furniture - we paid the product full amount and received invoice of full payment. But we never ever received our product till now. It's almost 1 year 4 months we never received our product we purchased from Royal Furniture, neither we received any single penny of our money we paid for new Dinning Table to Royal Furniture


It's seriously very strange and disgusting that such customer experience from Royal Furniture. I really feel sad and feel pitty on Royal Furniture now. That how big brands works.


Reference Example :- Just for your kind information I would like to mention something in regards to amount we paid to Royal furniture or to anyone. - we paid 65000/- Rs for one Dinning Table, If this amount we paid towards SIP, FD, or recurring or anywhere else. Minimum percentage return we get is around 7%-8%. That makes our money grow day by day year by year.


But in this case neither our money grow and neither we received our new product we bought. It's seriously very sad. I will never ever recommend anyone no matter what to visit Royal Furniture and to buy anything from them.


Now the situation is its approx 1.4 years we didn't received our product we bought and neither we received our money back.


I am seriously so unhappy and annoyed with the kind of service from Royal Furniture / Royaloak. I am surely going to raise this complaint against consumer complaint law.


Because the best part is we bought Dinning Table of 65000/- Rs in exchange of old 5 seater sofa set in 7k valuation . But no one ever came except that day when someone call from Royal Furniture packers and movers but no one turned up to collect. And as we know it's almost 1.4 years old story, and i am sure every one agrees in regards to so much time passen already, I am sure no one keep there old product for so long. That too our old Sofa was kept in our old house and Same time we bought a new sofa set.


Anyways my point is that when we bought Dinning Table from Royal Furniture for 65k in exchange offer. So we paid 58k + exchanged item value 7k.


And Mr. Vineet who was never there all the time representing Royal Furniture took so long by not delivering our new product and not collecting our old sofa set. Makes everything messed up. And no solution given. We got really tensed when from last few months Vineet stop answering our Calls and sometime he use to answer and start giving excuses by stating his father is not well, he's on leave, his mother is struggling medically. We still use to understand his part and agrees to give some more time to deliver our product. But same story all the times makes us sceptical about him and our trust breaks when we saw Royal Furniture outlet sector 10 Noida is seazed for some business internal reason. Which we are not concerned about. Since then we are following up with Royal Furniture staff, no solution received and no action taken as of now. In fact Mr. Manoj Store manager tried to consult with seniors of Royal Furniture and came to a conclusion that customer should pay extra 7k to get there own product they bought from Royal Furniture. Because exchange offer ends due to there organizations own fault by not collecting our old sofa set and not delivering our product we bought. and now as I mentioned above we didn't kept our old sofa set from last 1.4 years. And we dispose our old sofa due to less space in our old house. And now it's been told to us, to pay 7k extra if we want that same product we paid 58k for. Which don't t make any sense and it's seriously unexpected from such a big organization. Who don't even care for their own old customers, who's dealing with them from quiet long time. Instead of being apologized to customers and deliver the product on priority. Royal Furniture responded and informed customer to pay more 7k to get the product else this case is kept the same way its kept from last 16 months precisely.


Royal Furniture doesn't care to solve the problem and hardly matters to them that what customer is facing due to there fault. And they also said if we don't pay 7k we will not get our product, or if we want refund then we have to wait for 20 more days to return the amount, without any compensation. Or we can buy any other item of 58k which we paid already in beginning. That's the kind of awesome service Royal Furniture gives to there loyal customer. And they are so rude to solve this issue.


I am not going to take return of my amount without any compensation, and also as customer I will not pay any extra penny to buy the same product we already bought.


The best thing as loyal customer I can do, that last time when we spoke to Vineet employee of Royal Furniture said he will take approval of 5k and balance of 2k to be paid by us to solve discrepancy of 7k balance amount.


We are looking forward for your positive and bayast support. Kindly give approval on priority without any more excuses and also in coming week we want our product to be delivered on priority because we have some celebration at our place.

I purchased one Highback chair from Roayl oak Chennai Ambathur showroom cost around 8K, while purchasing the chair is not good they said its not fitted we will send the new chair from our warehouse like, but the supplied the damaged faulty chair, its is not comfortable to sit, I raised complaint but no response from them, even I wrote mail to the CEO of this company. then they replied that its a wear and tear issue, . I surprised. finally money and time is waste. very poor customer support, be aware from this company.

I online ordered for Lucy Computer Table on 18th Dec 22, Product delivered on 5th after continuous follow up. Installation Engineer comes on 9th Jan after Strong follow up.


Product found Damaged. Installation Engineer Prepared damage report. I emailed to Customercare for reverse pickup & Refund. But there is no response from customer care. After 3 daysCall received from Store that there is no refund policy.

We order sofa and central table vide confirmed order number 000025325 and 000026051 through online on 9 Oct & 12 Oct 2022 to celebrate our Deepawali festival on arrival of these furniture which were showing Delivery by 24 Oct 2022. But it has not happened and informed by Mr Praveen Raj at your side on 26 Oct that Delivery of furniture will be done within 4 to 5 days.


After that, we regularly followed up with him and Toll free number it was conveyed very soon you will get your Delivery. On 2 Dec 2022 it was informed by Toll free number that your order has been cancelled due to delay and not available of furniture and your refund will be done within 15 to 20 business days. It was shocked to me. I called Mr Praveen Raj for justification on it, his answer was justification not needed and end the call. Again I called him to send email for refund. After 20 days when refund not received, Again I called costumer care to know the status of refund. It was conveyed after Christmas by 28 Dec refund will be done.


Again I called Toll free number on 29 Dec when refund was not received it was conveyed that by end of this month it will be done.


Again I called customer care on 31 Dec it was informed that within one week refund will be done.


I and my family dissappointed on Deepawali. After that shocked on 2 Dec when Royaloak cancelled the order.


Now we are struggling for refund of Our money since last 3 months.


In such situation, Our family and Myself destroy Our happiness of the New Year also.


Now a days when I reached home After office hours daily Our children and family ask me Refund received or not, when I deny, all worried,


Think such a situation our family and myself are suffering mentally tortured.


What we have done wrong.


Before online order, I also visited your local showroom in Lucknow.


Where it was pressurised to purchase their local brand furniture Instead of Royaloak furniture, but I preferred Royaloak and order online.


Then it was not felt that we will go through so bad experience with Royal Oak.


At last, I request Pl refund our money and get rid off this bad experience and mentally tortured situation today itself.


We do not want to remember this incident even 1 minute more.

We had ordered 3 ottoman. 1 was received in damaged condition. Raised complaint. No action taken till date irrespective of so many mails and all. It's been almost a month now. They keep saying that it's not their mistake. Didn't even bother to visit and see. Now we have to go through consumer court . This is the only option left. Luckily we have all their conversation recorded.

Worst experience ever. Quality of the product is worst. Recently we purchasedBerlynoak Charger Coffee Table Order #000013444 and we observe wood swelling and straight line crack on the table top within 10 days of our purchase. We raised the complain for the same and now its been already 2 months we haven't receive the solution nor the product back. Lastly they will put a blame on customer and deny for the replacement or rectification. Horrible experience. I am not going to purchase from Royaloak ever.
