Precovid the delays were in minutes .

Post Covid it only cancellations . Spicejet Operational issues almost daily and the flights gets canceled . Only one flight that has to make it from Hyderabad to Pondy then to Bangalore back to Pondy and then to Hyderabad …

They will say weather related on a very clear day, though it is operational . They will say flight delayed and keep moving the departure hours and after 3-5 hours they will cancel the flights — save the pain and take other means of travel , happened multiple times

I have never visited Pondicherry airport and I would like to to visit the Pondicherry airport in future. The structure of the Pondicherry airport is good and also attract the tourist I wanted to visit the Pondicherry airport very soon thank you

Hi friends, after covering all places of Pondicherry I tried to go to banglore through flight. Then I reach the Pondicherry airport. And I feel very bad about this airport.

The main problem is there is no transportation facility available here. There is no car taxi services available here.

Only the domestic flights are available here.

The airport is not maintaining well.

This is not a good looking airport the facilities are limited here.

There is nothing nearby in this airport there is no shops available here there's no taxi stand available here nothing here

Pondicherry Airport is the best and good airport in pondicherry located in India so now am talking about this airport that time I was visit in this airport I was seen this airport is well design all the staff in this airport is really good always help for the passenger and provide the bording passes and guide for the passenger this airport have many more facility are avilable all the passenger are very happy for that I am also impressed for taken a service fron this airport this is really good airport

Pondicherry airport is in the Union Territory of Pondicherry city. Currently, the airport has only charter flights and the local flying training school operating out of this airport. The terminal is vey new which was inaugurated in 2013 with world class infrastructure considering the long term prospects of this territory.

The airport is built with modern infrastructure with European multinational look covering entire terminal with azure blue glass and white colour metal pillars. It looks so aristocrat. The interior of the airport is more impressive with granite flooring all round the place. The terminal is well planned with amenities and hangs out arrangements like restaurants, cafeteria, book stall, apparel showrooms etc. The security and staff personnel are well trained professionals in their work and make every effort to maintain the smooth transition of passengers without any uneven circumstances.

There is facility of luggage carrier and wash rooms which are in well maintained condition. In the current development plan, the airport has been decided to further expand to accommodate larger aircraft and commission shed terminal considering the increase in mobility of passengers. The airport currently connects mainly to Bangalore and Chennai only.
