I visited NM medical today for my Fasting and PP(75g glucose) test for 37th week of pregnancy.
Honestly my dr insisted that I do the test at your centre rather than SRL where I did 3 weeks back.
I traveled to Parel from Dadar in 8hrs Fasting state only fr NM medical.
As soon as I reach I fill the form and I am asked to wait. after 10-15 min waiting period. I again reminded. Then the receipt was issued. I accept this since there was some server issue.
Then I again wait 10-15 min for giving my blood sample. While the blood was drawn I reminded the staff regarding 75g glucose solution that I had to drink. She inquires with college and I am informed that it's not available and they need to purchase it! They sent the boy to fetch it. He had got a 100g pack. I cross checked as I need to take exact 75 g and I had done this test before at SRL where they had ready 75g packs of glucose .
But I was told that they will weigh and give me my dose. which I find it difficult to trust since it was made in pantry and was less sweet than what I drank at SRL
When I did the same test at SRL, the sugar solution was ready before they drew my blood fasting sample. It was a seperate 75g packing that was diluted in front of me
Sad to say that the entire focus of the centre was on health check up packages.
My purpose of writing the mail is to bring your notice that I being a Global hospital employee, I really had high expectations from your centre, but I'm left dissatisfied.
