Good and nice hotel in mangalore. By good place and value of money. Party hool , swimming pool, big place for car parking. Easy to notice in traffic. It placed on heart of the city. It's closer to mangalore central railway station also. City centre mole. Forum fiza mole aur also niar by. You can get taxi to airport, and anywhere. Some temples are there, like a mangala devi temple, kudhroli shiva temple. And milares church, mosch. Hotel is a good historical story s. There are also doing hotel management college. Separate hotels held for the students. Menny of the tourists comes from all over the country.

Pathetic! Never go here!

Pathetic staff pathetic service! No free cancelation! Big time looters! No cooperation amongst staffs . One says something and the other denies it. Pathetic service ever! Even a local motel provides better service . Rooms aren't clean! Bedsheets were stinking. The room stinked of alcohol when I entered. Not worth the price . Absolutely the worst without doubt.

Good Hotel

Moti Mahal is a nice hotel for a few days stay in Mangalore. I stayed here with my parents for 3 days and we had a good enough experience.

The hotel staff was also quite courteous and was ready to help and guide whenever we required it. I would surely go back to stay there if I find myself in Mangalore any time. Book your stay on Travelguru for an easy and simple booking process.

Moti Mahal hotel is a proper popular hotel in Mangalore. Which is really old and looks really good. I booked and stayed 2 years back when there was a programe in Mangalore city. And we friend stayed here. And it was full air conditioned. But the rooms are not attractive and was not feeling comfortable there to sleep also due to huge sound. In neatness this hotel is not fit. And I did not find any wifi Router here and my friends take felt bad. But actually our room was not covering it. And swimming pool is quite good and not upto the mark. And about food I can give full star because of the quality is the food and as well as the service which they had offered. The location is really good and even outside they maintained the stay. Overall I can it was decent stay in Moti Mahal hotel, Mangalore.

Excellent service

We booked 3 rooms for 2 days and got excellent service. Rooms are quite spacious. Centralised AC with good standard bed. Bathroom is really nice with quality bathroom kits. Hotel has a very big swimming pool which is really well maintained. They have a nice gim and 24x7 free wifi. Staff members are very good and decent. In the groud floor they have a good pure veg restarent with very good quality food.

Best thing is they have flexible checkin and checkout time. Means you can check in at any time of the day and  they will calculate 24 hours from your check in time. Buffet is complementory in the morning which includes lots of varities of veg and nonveg food.

Will not stay here again

I had booked a non AC room through the internet. Upon reaching there, I was given a lousy room , which was in fact college hostel rooms converted to non AC rooms block. When I protested, I was given a non AC room in the main block itself.

And to top it, they charge the same for the non AC rooms in the main block and the hostel rooms-turned-on AC rooms. There is nothing nice about this place, except the well maintained reception area.

Well, looks are certainly deceptive.

Horrible staff and not a very friendly place !

We stayed there for three days and also have been customers since a very long time. We have seen right before our eyes the quality of service deteriorate . The staff have started to behave very cheap and service seems to be provided out of grudge. The only polite staff in the hotel is the bell boy and maintenance team. The waiters, manager, receptionist and almost everyone else were at their rudest best. The hotel had a few power problems and a lady guest was stuck in the elevator . Wait, here's the worst part, the guest was helped out and the staff burst into laughter and the manager seemed to do nothing about it.

The hotel was nothing like this 10 years ago and has be on the downhill since!.

Nice building shame about the rest

Booked into this hotel for four days, and the rooms were amazing. We had a Moti Suite which was huge. However, that was probably the only good thing I could say about it, apart from the fact that SOME of the staff were eager to please.

The pool was filthy. I got an ear infection the day after swimming in the pool and had to go onto strong antibiotics. The food is dismal, the crockery and cutlery were dirty and being the only English woman in the hotel was not a nice experience, as I was STARED at in a most rude manner. Indeed while I was at the poolside with my Indian husband, people seemed to come out at intervals, stare at me, go inside and reappear with more people to gawp.

It is a shame because the rooms were good. However the pool attendant was probably the rudest man I have encountered in my life. Being sun bathing fans we like to lay on the sun bed, and the towels were too short to cover the bed, meaning that our legs would be burned on the hot plastic, but we were only allowed to take one towel each. I was incensed at such stupidity but the fool refused to budge, so we had to get extra towels from our room. The management should really have told this guy that as fully paying guests, we should be given two towels if we ask for them.

Total Hitler mentality this guy had. Shame because the management were so keen to help all round. We checked out earlier than intended as a result of our disappointment.

I would NOT recommend anyone to go to this hotel.
