Monginis is a famous brand operating in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Orissa for last 7 to 8 years as I know. It sells fast food and ready to consume items. I live in Bhubaneswar and has been associated with Monginis outlet for last three years. But, since last six months I have stopped visiting it as I am quite upset with its products. I have very bad experiences with it which I wish to communicate to everyone.
1) First of all, it sells fast food items which are prepared somewhere else centrally and distributed by the dealers which means that there is no guarantee of freshness of the items which I have perceived on several occasions. I used to consume few specific items from it and need to express my impressions exclusively.
2) It offers vegetarian and chicken sandwiches. Speaking about the vegetarian sandwich, the cucumber and tomatoes used as a stuff are not fresh absolutely and taste too bad. Chicken sandwiches contain fried fatty chicken pieces which are not tasty absolutely.
3) I also used to consume fish and chicken cutlets. I have found chicken cutlets very often to be spoiled ones and might have been stored for a week or even more. Even once I had an upset stomach after consuming it. Fish cutlets I have consumed very few times and found not bad though.
4) It also sells chicken kabab rolls and must say is of very bad taste.
5) The vegetarian burgers too not miraculous so far as its taste is concerned.
6) I am unable to comment on other products since I have never consumed them.
7) In addition, the prices are very high. For example, Rupees 40 for a chicken cutlet is very expensive to my view.
8) It does not have enough space for a customer to sit and have food. One has to stand and take the food which is quite inconvenient too.
My over all experiences are not good to be simple enough and I do not recommend anyone to visit it for sure.
