I like McDonald burgur. The are best in quality and taste too. I was going to Chandigarh from Nawanshahr. while driving I was little hungry And see McDonald at Balachaur.iit was night time so few dishes was not available that time. This is the place where you get the meal in a minute and no need to wait for meal long time. I see a lot of peoples come here For taking delicious cuisine. .

They are best in service like other McDonald’s too. Staff is very friendly and nice. Sitting decoration is also good. Its highly recommended dont forget if u near Balachaur stop here  for taking good quality food.all the staff take extra care of their customers. .there is parking facilities also available. .they take extra care of your vehicle. .you will fully satisfied with their services  because they provide best service towards their customers. .

Burrrppppppp!!!!! Is how some of us would react after having wolfed down food at McDonald’s. Why? Because as far as large fast food chains go, McDonald’s is one of the cheapest, and to me, one of the best.

Let’s put aside the facts that fast food contributes to obesity, clogs arteries etc. etc. etc… I have seen Super Size Me and I do not advocate eating Fast Food very often. Of course, as an occasional indulgence, why not?

And its here that the McDonalds menu and value really comes to the fore. Let me just start with their Happy Price Menu items @ Rs. 20 each. Many of us must have seen the hilarious Dharmendra/Sunny Deol or the Bachchans ads… well, its true, you can get A veg McAloo Tick (ok tasting), potato wedges (better than the plain old boring fries in my opinion), Soft Serve Cup (softy in a cup with either chocolate or strawberry sauce, not really great value I feel), or a Veg Pizza Mc Puff (the worst item on the McDonalds menu according to me, not really great) for Rs. 20 a piece.

After that, we have the Rs. 25 menu options… and here we get the Chicken McGrill (thinner patty than the McAloo Tikki, but a good budget option for Meat eaters, the McAloo Tikki and Chicken McGrill are spiced more towards an Indian feel), Salad Sandwich (a burger with veggies and lottttsss of Mayo… to get rid of all health benefits of the salad… yummy though), Ice Tea (a nice option to the normal soft drinks, you get around 400ml of it), a Coke Float (Coke topped with a softy… yummy, especially when you mix the softy in the coke to create a new delicious combination), and a regular size French Fries.

Then we come to the meals, McDonalds typically combines a burger with a Large Coke and Fries and sells it at a discount compared to buying the items individually… but I feel a Large Fries and Coke (500ml) is largely pointless. Me? I normally ad an extra burger, skip the fries and at most go for a Medium Coke or an Ice Tea.

Next on the menu are the delicious McVeggie (Rs.40) and McChicken (Rs.52 or so) burgers. These have a yummy thick patty with lettuce/cabbage (I get confused with this one) and mayo… in a sesame seed bun… Sound delicious, right? But what will definitely tempt you out of those is the Maharaja Mac… sold as the Big Mac abroad, it is made with Chicken here, and has 3 pieces of Bun, 2 patties, veggies and a cheese slice… seeing young kids gobble it down is a bit amusing, given the huge size of the burger. It costs around Rs. 62. I haven’t tried to Fillet-o-fish the only fish item on the menu… it costs the same as the Maharaja Mac.

The McDonalds wraps also retail around the same price… and both the Paneer Salsa Wrap and the Chicken Mexican Wrap are tasty alternatives to the burgers… definitely way better than KFC’s efforts.

Chicken McNuggets (pieces of deep fried boneless chicken), have just started being sold, but I haven’t tried them out as yet… the burgers are too tempting for me ;).

You can round off your meal with a normal softy (Rs. 10) or a nice one coated with chocolate sauce (the McSwirl) for Rs. 15

So the cost of a meal for two: Two McVeggie/ McChicken Burgers (around Rs. 100), A Large Fries (Rs. 40 approx) which can be shared and two Ice Teas (Rs. 50): around Rs. 200. Add Rs. 30 for 2 delicious McSwirls.

Another word, McDonalds order taking system is the best I have seen. It normally takes around 30 secs after taking your order to delivering the food at the best McDonald outlets, and they almost always will give you change for even a Rs. 1,000 note… with a weird, ‘Thank You for ’ when you aishwaryasingh23. Be warned though, McDonald’s at least in Bangalore, do not accept Cred824it Cards, so you may be forced to visit an ATM before you go there.

Interior ambience is like most fast food joints, thought mercifully it does not have the smell of fried chicken which you get in KFC.

All in all, McDonald’s is a relatively inexpensive Fast Food joint for a Burger meal.

My Recommendations from the menu:

Coke Float

McVeggie / Chicken

Salad Sandwich

Maharaja Mac

The Wraps

Ice Tea

McSwirl
