This is one of the dirtiest cinema halls in Mumbai.(Yes even after the renovation). And they follow unethical business practices. They rolled out an annual membership package for 1900 Rs by which a person can 7 pm to 8 pm show every week including their new releases. However when they find that the show is getting filled at the counter by other patrons, they randomly deny entry to their members stating that this week members can watch only 6:00 pm etc. The lady manger at the theatre is also very rude and does not know how to behave with customers.

Another thing is that, they charge extra 50 Rs. from members for 3 d glasses for which they dont give the bill also. Inshort they are again pocketing profit without paying any tax. The CFC Matterden seems to be run by some dirty people with money swindling intentions. No wonder their theatre runs empty for most of their shows

This Theatre was known in fame when it started. But as the year pass on this Theatre has started losing its dignity. This Theatre has now become one of the worst Theatre in Mumbai. I had visited this for watching movie I just looked at the infrastructure of the Theatre I was amazed to see that it was magnificent from outside the ticket charge is also very high. I thought that it would be better Theatre or else say best while visiting inside the Theatre I was sad to see littering all round.

The seat of the Theatre are also not in good condition. Even the screen has got some dent or the projector are faulty. In interval I was about to go in washroom and there was a foul smell inside and around the washroom. The conditions of washroom is worst than a government sauchalay. The quality of food they serve is also bad and costly. Around the Theatre there are many black ticket seller which irritates much. The Theatre has a parking facility which is expensive for two wheeler it is Rs 125 and for four wheeler it is Rs 200. It was my first and last time I would ever visit this Theatre.

If you look at it from outside, it looks like the entrance of a hotel that is just inaugurated, with orange flower  and leaves garlands hanging at the entrance. Matterden is listed on bookmyshow.com, but I barely find any shows, maybe because of the restricted operational hours.

The theatre experience is really good, with good surround sound and comfortable seats that are not very closely packed. There is also ample of leg room between the rows of the seat. So, tall people shouldn't really face a problem. This theatre is quite well maintained and the staff is very stringent about rules and regulations related to cleanliness and outside food consumption in their premises. Also, what I really like is that even if the number of patrons for a particular show timing are merely 2 to 3, they will not cancel the show. The ticket rates are pretty affordable as well. This is very promising.

Deepak theatre located in lower parel is the worst single screen theatre in the area.

I had been here only once because I was not aware of how the theatre would be and we were not getting tickets anywhere else.

The crowd is pathetic here because the ticket is cheap. Wash-rooms are stinking horrible. Sitting arrangement is pathetic the chairs are very old.It is a single screen small theatre.No air condition.Please avoid if you want to enjoy the movie.

The facilities & eating joints like popcorn / beverage counter etc in the multiplex is just average. Snacks items also lacks variety. Lots of improvement is needed for it to become a happening multiplex.

The mall itself is not well maintained & is a very small sized mall.
