Only 1 year and I feel I have to share with my fellow professionals how much below average an employer can be. I do agree that construction industry is at the lowest industry as far as employment is concerned, but then I never thought when I studied in engineering college 5years ago that engineers can be treated like a floor mat

the human resources (i think the worst chaps of HR come to construction), fooled be my their h.r language and played his tricks in the renumeration and benefits. he initially said that we shouldnot think in terms of CTC comepensation, but at the end he gave a printout of the package in terms of CTC...what bloddy hipocrates these guys

site didnot even have drinking water facility. I tell you, it is a miracle that this industry is pushing like this in india I am waiting for liberalisation of this industry. it is fully protected by government (read neta babus) with the connection of builders and top so called MDs/directors etc

only when companies for aborad come in india, there will be REAL competition for the FIRST time in india. Till then, please donot advise students to take up Civil engineering and risking their career with these totally useless unprofessional and flyby night mentality companies

This industry is screwed up for sure...it stinks
