I have always visited Kalyan Silks Bangalore for purchasing sarees, Salwars for my cousins and sister on my wedding, it was all good. The sales personnel and the store staff are kind, we may even be asked for coffee or a cool drink...loved the experience
Two months back purchased a salwar. I gifted it to my sister. She wore it once on my wedding and started noticing that it is tearing and threads coming off.
we took it there, explained our case and asked for a replacement since it was quite an expensive salwar and she could use it only once, they were not ready to accept and spoke about how they should be taken care of, and blaming us we might have washed it using brush etc. They had more questions for me than apologies for the dress that they sold and that we buy in good faith! Finally they agreed for doing a rework by sending it to Mumbai where they purchased it, and when we asked to change the lining material used the floor manager told the sales guy will have to bare the expenses for the cloth. After purchasing for above a lakh from Kalyan Silks Bangalore, they want the poor sales guy to bare the expenses of the lining cloth. Is this FAIR enough KALYAN ??
Check properly when u purchase from here and don't believe the assurance they give. All Men branded clothing collections here is of previous season (esp shirts, trousers & suits), I have checked few suits and shirts of Louis Philippe and Allen Solly and when asked for the same in Louis Philippe and Allen Solly stores by showing them my trial pics , they said told 'no stock' and where '2 - 3 seasons old'.
