I am a part of this institution. The staff here in the college is quite good and the placements are over 150% for cse. The location of the university is the most admiring and this scenic beauty amazes the most .the mess food is good and it is located as a lush green campus providing us a great platform to study away for the hustle of city roads.There are many clubs through which the knowledge can be enhanced . The are regular seminars and workshops too

Hi people I am the part of this institution and can tell the best about the college.This college has a nice infrastructure and the plus point is about the environment which is so cool and calm and keeps your mind fresh.

If I talk about the studies then it's pretty good as compare to other colleges, regular workshops on different things are conducted in the college.

Administration works very well, I would say till now I have seen first college where everything is so systematic.

And yes the food here is awesome, personally I would say you are gonna get much much better food here.

Every month some events keep on going like sports fest cultural fest etc, there is so much fun here.If you would indulge in such activities there is no point that you are gonna bore.

There's Alumni affairs club in the college which interacts with the pass out students and always remain in touch with them who guide the budding engineers for the future

I have been a part of this institution from last two years, and here I know the reality about the institute. The institute is simply awesome believe me guys. I'm a student of 3rd year, branch Computer Science Engg., The college receives a sound investment from the sponsors, placement cell is helpful and almost everyone of our senior batch is placed in a high repute IT FIRM.

The college develops not only a good engineer within one but also it helps student to grow in diverse ways. Cultural events, sports, extra co-curricular activities are very well maintained and feeling of competition lies within students.(which usually lags in other colleges)

JUIT Solan where a few scenes of the movie TAMASHA have been shot is one of the top 10 beautiful colleges in India. No doubt it is beautiful but apart from that an educational institution needs to be good at the purpose of imparting quality education.

The faculties at JUIT are quite well versed and qualified in all the departments altogether. In the field of Biotechnology, the university stands tall at the numero uno position in India as it has a large number of quality projects and the DBT programme running. Research driven environment is provided to the students as it has around 70 students getting enrolled in Ph.d and masters programs and get the scholarship too. Extra curricular activities are given importance at the campus. The hostel amenities, fees and discipline are quite satisfying too.

Juit is an excellent univ. In all feilds.

Inspite of its location in an hilly area , it has a broad huge infrastructure.The faculity is too good .The hostels are neat and clean and are very good to live in.

Seniors are so friendly. It has proper labs and halls to study.The location of Jp is also excellent polution free and has pure green and clean environment. It is a good platform to shape a students carrer.

Introduction:Jaypee University of Information Technology(also *J. P. University of Information Technology and JUIT) is a private engineering university located at Waknaghat, HimachalPradesh, India.Jaypee University of Information Technology is recognised by the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. Approved by the University Grants Commission undersection 2(f) of the UGC Act, the University commenced academic activities from July 2002.

Being a JUITian myself, I may be a little biased while writing this review. Pardon me for that. To know the details about its history, rankings, branches, placements et cetera you may see the wikipedia page or its website.

Let me straightly get to the point first: JUIT may not have the class of IITs but it is a lot better than many of the NITs and RECs. It was established in 2002, so it is slightly new in the education arena but it has the expertise and experience of various eminent people behind it.

1. Location: JUIT is located among the lush green picturesque hills ofHimachal Pradesh. In fact this is the first thing people notice when they comehere. Peaceful environment and breathtaking views offer an experience of alifetime.

2. The Junta: Students are the most important asset of an university. JUITis no different. Its students who are from all parts of the country(evenoutside the country too!) are one of the main reasons behind JUIT’s continuousgrowth.

3. Administration: Ultimately it is the administration which runs theuniversity. JUIT administration – though being very stiff at times – is doing awonderful job. The rate at which JUIT is progressing, will surely make it top10 universities of the country within a decade or so.

4. Placements: Placements at JUIT have been very good so far with 75-80% ofstudents getting placed every year. Students can have multiple placements here– which makes the placement percentage to 200-300%. In today’s scenario, despite the global recession almost all the companies will be coming to thecampus.

5. Infrastructure: With Jaypee group’s backing, JUIT has world classinfrastructure. Its Biotech labs are said to be the best in the country.Architecture is top notch with central heating system along with LAN, internet, laundry and fooding facilities.

The Last Word: *JUIT may be the BITS Pilani of tomorrow or even better. If you cannot get into IITs(with your desired branch), then surely have a look at this budding university too. It may change your life forever!
