Myself Chaitali and today I am going to discuss my personal experience regarding the " JAWBONE UP2 " fitness band which I bot around three month ago from an online shopping portal.
First things first, The price of this fitness band is very high. It costs around 9, 000 rupees, which is very high for this product. Now the box pack comes with the band itself and only one USB charging port. No user guide, no driver CD, no arm strap are there in the box pack. You need to download the user guide and the driver CD for your computer or the the tool app for your phone from the company website or from the Google play store. the look is very boring frankly speaking. It come in only one color, that is black. No design, no graphics or fancy work is there. First you need to charge your band for 10 to 12 hours, which is very long time for a fitness band. And after charging for 10 to 12 hours it gives an output of four hours only. So the battery back up is very bad. And you need to charge everyday once or even twice depending upon your use.
It does not even have a digital screen, Your phone is connected with this band and the app shows all the results. So the battery of the phone is always discharging with the band. The app is very slow which hangs the phones performance. The quality of the rubber used to make the fitness band is not at all skin friendly. It is very tight and makes a spot once you remove it from your arm. It itches while doing exercising. Its not at all comfortable. Look is not at all stylish, Its more like a old ladies watch. Design is very basic and feels heavy.
The tracking capacity has got a limit, It does not calculate after five hours of use. So it does not calculate for entire day. you need to refresh the data of your phones app and then again you need to reset ans start using the band. So it does not calculates your sleeping also. It does not gives your weeks calculations. The internal memory is very low. The calculations are not that accurate. I calculated my hear rate for one minute manual and the rate does not matches with the fitness band. The Jawbone is not a very well known company in the market for making fitness bands. It is not worthy in 9, 000 rupees. The w3eight is around 200 gms, which is very much for a fitness band and not comfortable while doing exercising. All over it is a waste of money. You should buy a fitness band of other brands, don't do mistake like I did. This band is very very bad. performance is very poor and quality is bad.
