Jaguar Bathroom Concepts

I purchased Jaguar shower glass enclosure 6th Oct 2022. Recently the glass got shattered by its own due to manufacturing defect. Fortunately no one was in the bathroom. It would have been a disaster if some was inside the toilet.

Inspite of writing mails to Jaguar explaining the seriousness there was no response to the mail from Jaguar.

I will not advice any one to go for Jaguar

Only 4 months since installation, the door is hanging down as the hinges came loose. Worst part is that, inspite of repeated service requests, no company person has come for repair / reset. I'm writing this on the eve of 30th September 2023, as the service personnel hasn't attended my complaint lodged on 27th September 2023.

I am using the above mentioned title item in my bathroom fittings from last 2 years . Every now and then I am facing a issue of hardness in handle . Whenever I complaint the technical person will come and do greasing fix the issue. Again after some months it will become the same again I need to raise a complaint. The same thing happening repeatedly in 2 years 4 times I have raise a complaint with the same issue.

This time complaint Number - 01175878 is closed without attending only and once technical person called me and suggest not to use hot water. How funny is that .

I strongly recommend do not go for Jaguar where in market many other products are good enough.

I bought a set of Jaguar Bath Mixers and within 4 months one of the taps started changing colors and I do not use any detergents/acid for cleaning in my house. My calls and complaints raised used to just closed without anyone attending to the issue. Finally when I managed to talk to someone a bit more senior, he started collecting all the details/pics/invoice etc. and without even visiting the place he just declared it as "Poor Maintenance of the Product" and closed the case. Most horrible product and customer support. This Brand is going down The Drain. Pls don't fall for the name . there are better brands in the market at this price/cosst.

Within 10 days it start leaking. Service person was not knowledgeable. They closed service complaint without stoping leakage

I had used this during my official stay in hotels at Mumai , Chandigarh, Hyderabad n Bengaluru.

Jaguar is a big name in bathroom fittings but I had a very bad experience . Had installed their concealed flush valve 3 years ago. Today they don't have the spare parts of this flush. It costs 5000 approx 3 years ago. AlMost 3 times the normal flush tank cost. It didn't work for 3 years ??? And when I am ready to pay for all repairs they don't have spares. I complained on 04th Oct 2018 till today they just keep saying we don't have spares .

Its just 20 months since we are into our new home, from the begining itself jaguar health faucet and divertor were showing complaints. anyhow by fighithing and scolding service person divertor was ok but now when knob of health faucet broke due to reduced water pressure flowing out of it I had to pay saying that its our fault but this was manufacturing defect coz from the begining itsef I was complaining, . they should have replaced health faucet initially itself, but now when it is broken they blame us and charge us, . its big cheating by jaguar sales person that they didnt say only service warranty is there we have to pay for parts, . indian company like JAL is better in quality than jaguar. ALSO JAGUAR COMPANY TRAINS THEIR SERVICE PERSONEL IN SUCH A MANNER THAT EVEN IF THERE IS SOME MANUFACTURING DEFECT THEY SOMEHOW ADJUST IT AND MAKE IT WORK FOR 1 YEAR THEN CHARGE THE CUSTOMER

My Metropole flush model 1085 was replaced with a defective piston yesterday which should be under the 10 yr warranty period? I could not find any warranty finger prints on your site.

The service engineer has charged me 2050 rs for it. On inquiring with him with regards to warranty he said only minor fixes, loose taps etc are covered and for all parts not working it would be on charge basis.

Jaguar brand of plumbing products are tom tommed  as the best. They have craftily crafted their image on these shiny products. They are priced over 500% of comparable products.

The contractors and plumbers promote them promising they are life long products which dont require maintenance or repairs. and the store promised no maintenance is required as these are ceramic based.

Falling for these false promises, based on the brand name, I opted for jaguar when I remodeled my studio apartment in 2009. In case jaguar cannot do simple math less than six years ago. The shower set hot water tap has developed a drip. My plumber tells me that these products cannot be repaired or maintained by simple replacement of parts. The spindle I see far from ceramic is made of PLASTIC. With Plastic washer adorned with a steel ring. There is a very small crack in the plastic which is causing the leak. The design id intentionally off standard so that just the spindle cannot be replaced.

When I asked the plumber he said the spindle alone will cost if it can be found 200% of the entire set if I had bought another comparable maintainable repairable brand. and when I pointed out to him about the jaguar promise, he laughed and said life long for them is as long as it lasts!

I have 2 decade and 3 decade old non branded fittings that are still functioning perfectly with a little maintenance in the same building.

What a shame for an international brand to make money-and so much of it- on false promises and deception?

I. had a USA made garden sprinkler which had a life long promise and the head crackedn a few years and they gracefully sent me a free replacement.

My recommendation do not fall for false Jaguar promises and shiny fittings.

ALL THAT SHINES IS NOT GOLD.

They even have consultants, rather representatives, who help you in providing best options to optimize the various gadgets, in order to improvise the infrastructure and make it look authentic. If you don't really have budget issues, but care for the look and royalty, then Jaguar must be your first and only choice.

I have been using jaguar accessories(Bathroom fittings) since 8 years and they are excellent. To start with the finish and polish is incredible. Talking of the design, the Company maintains rich, convenient and classy models which give a unique feel.

Talking of durability, I find the fittings very durable, they haven’t given me any problem since the last 7 years. They also provided me prompt customer service for the warranty & their products generally carry good warranty coverage. I would highly recommend it.
