Temple city hotels are popular brand in ancient Madurai city. This uthangudi branch is located on madurai melur main road which is reachable distance

( 2 km) from Integrated madurai bus stand and meenakshi mission hospital. And it is having a mini car park at front. A pure vegetarian restaurant with south Tamilnadu style spices.

It is not a star grade hotel but with upper avarage cost and better taste. The only problem which will be find is with service. Due to local culture and knowledge of madurai the barers and servers doesn't aware about the method of service. Better to provide them a good training about the metods of service.

Food tastes good and having affordable cost. Chinese dishes is always not available in afternoon timings. And prefferable at dinner only. Some times it is weired about the TAX for A/C dining hall.

Sometimes we can see a very casual behavior from cash recievers. And many times those servers will ask for tips while providing the bills.

A moderate hotel still not implemented the electronic money transfer properly. New visitor couldn't expect for card payments and using payment apps. Advisable is only cash payment.

I visited this hotel several times in August 2017, when I booked the room in same hotel I'll share my experience for hotel and restaurant in this review:

Pro:

.Nice ambience

.Tasty food and polite staffs

.Has parking space

.They give variety of side dish, like cup ice, banana , sweet beeda etc in the end for a full meal. They serve unlimited meal.

.Meal price is reasonable like 100 rs per meal

.Close and walkable distance to mattuthavani integrated bus stand. We used to have a little walk everyday, around 1-2 kms

.Rooms are nice and clean

.It has AC and regular restaurant as well

Cons:

. They keep windows open, in some seasonal times several bugs and insects enters the restaurant and makes a mess

.They need to improve quality check and prevent insects entering inside.

Hello Friends, I am sharing my personal review about this hotel. Iam a visitor. I visited this hotel two days ago. Their presentation of food is good but the behaviour was not sincereable . they were ignoring me whin I call them. The building of this hotel is good with green environment. Customer service is not givin good by the servieman of this hotel.

Overall, their all things are good but their staff behaviour is not good. So, I think this is not a good value for money.
