Hotel Tathagat Vihar, Rajgir

Hi I am Mayur.

I went to Rajgir before one year ago with my family. My father booked that hotel. When we reached the hotel it was looking nice from outside. I was happy by watching the view and atmosphere of hotel by outside. But when we entered it was not as good as outside. When we entered in there was no one to pick up our luggage. After we went to our room. The room was also not too good. It was not clean. The bed sheets an pillows were of poor quality. There was no T.V in the room. The bathroom and toilet was not good at all. After that we called manager and asked to clean the room and toilets, but the service was also very poor. The management of the hotel was too weak. The food quality was also bad. There was no taste in the food. It is only good from outside but bad inside. I recommend not to visit the hotel Tathagat Vihar in Rajgir.

I would like to tell you about hotel Tathagat

I had visited this hotel at 21 January 2017 Because This hotel booked For the Engagement of My Brother. I thought that rajgir is a proper place and it's weather is also cool for a ceremony

Rajgir is a beautiful place for any party or functions

But in matter of Hotel Tathagat I m very dissatisfied with management of this hotel

I would like to tell you some word about this hotel it's a good looking hotel having proper space and situated at a very convenient place where everyone can reach easily.

When I visited this hotel all is looking fine but management of this hotel is looks annoying it's showing me a poor hospitality but after some time lots of mosquitoes biting our guests and this is very shameful we all family very nervous about this situation guests are telling lots of words

And I call a staff to do some for this situation but it came with a spray and spread around the hotel and room this is showing a cheap management if you accept the booking at a very high price you have to do for this type of issue .

I never wanna go again in this hotel if it's management do some for this type of issue it's a superb hotel for my opinion but now I m not satisfied with its management.

It was my first tour in Rajgir .When I went on Rajgir, Vihar Tour, we booked Tathagat Vihar hotel . Tathagat Vihar hotel is located at Rajgir in Bihar . I can't rate this hotel more than 2 star .This hotel is not good for rich family, but it is recommended for bourgeois family or school tour or college student tour .

My very first experience on this hotel was very good . With a horse carriage we entered in the hotel .  I saw side view of this hotel was wonderful . Covered with big tree, flower tree . There have many birds& horses . Full of bird's tweet& neigh and blowing breeze . Totally nature was just mind blowing .

I stayed here with my father& some friends in ground floor room . Size of room was big, two bathrooms were attached with our room . In our room there had 5 single beds . But, quality of beds, bed sheets,  bathroom, inside of room was not good like as 2 star . As this tour happened with many school students we book this type of hotel to save money .

In our room there have no AC or no TV . Bathroom's gate could not be closed properly . That time a funny was happened . A student( my small friend) fall into a uncomfortable position . Ha ha ha . Anyway the room was look like as a normal old room .

When I went on 1st floor to meet my friends, I saw some part of the of the floor were damaged& hotel management didn't repair it . Corridor in the first floor& ground floor is too small .

In this hotel wall paint in some places were damaged .

In this hotel there don't have any playing instruments like as caromboard .  There have no swiming pull . Hotel is not well prepared or maintained .

Food quality in this hotel was not too good or not bad . Mainly we ordered for veg food to save money . Taste of the food was just  average . Behavior of the staffs were something good . They called us'Sir' . They don't behave roughly but, they were not too friendly .

Hotel authority don't provide us any locker to lock our room when we went out side of the hotel for traveling in Rajgir  . I think safety of goods in this hotel was not good . You must carry a lock, if you book this hotel .

From outside of the hotel it is look like good, but when I entered inside the hotel as well as in room, look like normal, some places of the hotel were poor& damaged . Food quality was just average . Although cost in this hotel was not high . So, this hotel is okay for school tour . But, if we go with our family this hotel is not perfect . It is a average hotel . So, if any one go Rajgir with his family& also who belongs from rich family, I don't recommend this hotel .
