I have a Demat account with hdfc Securities even though the brokerage is more I buy shares in this account.....just as the trust on hdfc bank. Since long time I have added a nominee in my account online as well as with all the documents submitted physically even then I get msgs reg freezing my account from them. Highly

Guys don’t opt for HDFC securities they are greedy people stealing common man money I had I was told by branch manager Mrs Deepali Bramhe of Aundh Brach and My Relationship Manager Mr Wasim Pathan to pledge our holdings for e margin trading and I opted for e Margin trading facility on my portfolio where I was told that we can hold position for T + 275 days by my RM Wasim Pathan he did not disclose full facts of MTF trading and my Position was Squared off by HDFC securities risk management on 5th day where in I was told we can hold position for T + 275 days and I lost 1/5 th of my portfolio to compensate for loss due careless attitude of Branch Manager Deepali Bramhe and Relationship Manager Wasim Pathan of HDFC Securities Aundh Branch in dealing with HNI clients portfolio. I have suffered huge loss so guys please share this review as much as possible and stay away for opting for HDFC Securities

So far, I have used icici security, opened in 2003, motilal oswal, hdfc sec and sharekhan.


Worst is the hdfc securities, your Demat shares are lost an there is no answer, one pays the highest commission...they deduct some money from account, no grounds...you keep following them if some problem is there, they will keep throwing their ball between customer care and Demat help...forget about the names there is no Demat help and there is no care...all lies.


Third class app and manipulate clients money

I bought 30000 shares at 0.75 paise and next day it shows me my average cost price is 0.81 paise , most of the time this has happened with me.also they charged extra 1500rs as brokerage.so I find it fishy to deal with HDFC anymore.I am going to change my account with some other brokerage like 5Paisa or Angel one.


also they never pick customers calls. I suggest never go with HDFC securities.it’s a big money fraud game

Hdfc sec has put my money Rs 4288.49 without my knowledge and where I do not know.


HDFC bank hardly sends any message about any transactions on time.


They never pick up the call or revert.


Can anyone help what I should do to get my money back?

Customer care is just eye wash. No action will be taken. People operating the trade are either ameture or liars. They don't give proper advice. If advice is given them it's only after the damage is done. They are good to you as long as you are investing in their product or giving them references. Once you have invested you are trapped. Zerodha is a far better option.


Horrible trading terminal&services HDFC securities

Their trading terminal is horrible and not at all customer friendly,


1- Trade book don't show total, of No of Equities traded for particular stock . this is simple summation but HDFC IT system is unable to provide


2- Trade book don't show average buy/ sell price for particular trade/ transaction


3- Trade book don't provide trade history at all, only trades done for day /( today) only provided)


4) Profit and loss summary statement don't provide Buy rate and sell rate .


5) No customer support or online chat or call center support available. I tried number of times.


6) Portfolio report doesn't show summary of stocks held in E margin / margin and held in Cash delivery,


7) There is no summary of e margin charged per stock held in account and doesn't account e margin payment in profit and loss statement.


8) profit and loss report don't show whether stock was held in delivery / cash or under E-margin or margin trading.


9) No response received from customer care email id from more then 6 months . after sending repeated emails.


10) Not at all customer friendly trading terminal, provided by HDFC securities.


HIGH TRANSACTION CHARGES

It's a one of the worst portal for do share trading, I had earned 45000 in current financial year, but they had deducted 26000 as their charges, more than 60%, advice not to use this portal for share market trading.even the customer care is inefficient to solve the queries and saying it's a rule and being a customer we need to follow the rule first till the stock price dropped

I had signed up for a HDFC sec account back in 2014. I cannot tell you the nightmares I had to go through with them. They salesman hoodwinked me showing some fake text prints saying there are no yearly charges. I got charged 590 every year from 2015 upto 2021 with no help from them on how to close the account. Even after filling their closure form 7 times. they havent closed my demat account and are charging me Rs 590 every year in December. Contacting the ombudsman also didnt help. They are just terrible. Stay Away from them.

My ac was deactivated by the company for no reason. I submitted required documents twice to my hdfc bank branch but they are not accepting documents and activating my ac. They are harrasing senior citizens. There helpline people are very arrogant. Please dont open trading ac in hdfc securities. And this is after being thier customer for 16 years. Please dont open in HDFC securities. Absolutely bad customer experience ever.

HDFC Securities pathetic customer service for NRI

I won’t suggest any NRI’s to use HDFC securities. This organisation is not for NRI with almost no customer service. I am trying since more than last 6 months to enable my accounts. I have all the communications from nrihelp email so called made to help nri? I will stare all the communications fro here. I was asked to come to Indian to one of their branch for KYC. When I requested that I am a NRI and it’s not possible for me to come to India then they agreed to accept the documents with notary / certified from justice of peace. I send them all the document through courier duly completed. Then they can up with an issue in the form as one box was not ticked. They asked to resubmit everything again I requested they you have all the documents which is certified/notaried and allow me to send only from again as it cost me money to get it done from notary here but they did not agreed. Anyway I didn’t had any other option so I sent them everything again and now they came up with another excuse that the form was in old format? It was ridiculous as the form was sent by them in email. I again requested through email and also called them but now they are telling that I have to come there for complete the KYC. They are just trying to harass me. Anyway I don’t want to do any business with this kind of organisation which is insensitive and with no customer service. I am now working on opening a trading account with other bank then I have to delink this demat account from Hdfc trading account and link with new trading account. It’s a tedious job but I don’t see any other option and I am paying this price for the mistake I made by opening my NRE and Trading account with HDFC. Once all these are then only I can close all my accounts with Hdfc. It’s not easy to come out once you have opened the account. Happy to share more information and email communications with nrihelp if anyone needs.


I won’t suggest any NRI to open their accounts with HDFC especially Hdfcsec never. They might be good for domestic customers but a big no for NRI. I am happy to share all the communications with anyone interested to get an idea before you are planning to do a business with Hdfc.

Converting status from Resident Indian to NRI

If you ever come in a situation of having to update your KYC from resident indian to NRI - brace yourself for some serious manual work coming your way - especially if you are a HDFC Securities account holder. You will need to manually report the purchase price and acquisition date for every share you purchased since inception of your account as the ever talented HDFC Securities IT & Product team are stuck in an ancient world and do not understand the simplicity of automation or perhaps do not have the competency to implement it or very likely - DO NOT CARE! I am sitting and manually recording these details for over 100+ stocks I own that I have purchased over the last 6 years. This data can easily be pulled out and then shared with a customer to review and sign off. The customer service team very nonchalantly tells me this is something all their customers do.WOW Isnt that brilliant HDFC! - Ull want your customers to slog. No wonder you'll are losing your market share to more competent players who understand the importance of customer experience and invest in skilled and competent teams.

So, I already had accounts with ICICI but not very satisfied with their service so wanted to try another bank and ended up with HDFC as the branch was closer to my office. They came to my home for opening bank accounts, credit cards, trading account, insurance account etc. They promised so much and I was impressed. However after opening all accounts, when I had issues, no one was responding! I emailed their customer service, called bank manager but NOPE, no luck. Stay away from this so called bank.
