Google Maps is the best service to find yourself on the streets of any city in the world without leaving your home and arrange a virtual tour anywhere in the world.

When I want to travel, but for some reason I can’t do it, I just open Google maps and turn on the street view mode ( to do this, hold down the yellow man in the lower right corner in the google map with the left mouse button) .

Streets and roads are highlighted on the map, along which you can arrange a virtual walk ( for example, in Europe, these are almost sections of the map) .

I totally feels neutral about this app but likes it somewhat because it has better navigation skills than other apps.

Positiveness from my view.--

1. One can find the needed location easily on the app and can also be a part of it by sharing opinions and reviews about the place.

In Google maps. They now invite people to write reviews and give ratings but in reality hide them. Reviews are hidden and ratings are uneffective to effect the overall rating of say a store. I visited a departmental store one time and I bought a chocolate. It was little unshaped. I told them regarding this next time and they did not wanted to agree to their fault. Instead blamed me because of outside heat. Now How could be a chocolate melt and freeze again without freezer during summers. I did not kept it in freezer. Now I started to write a review and when I checked it. I did not found my review and rating. When I noticed overall ratings. I came to know that my rating did not had any effect on the overall rating even. This is the huge amount of hate by Google. Just ruining customers. Application of Google maps has always been pre-installed in android phones and undeletable. When I do not agree to Google maps then why would they force me to use it? I do not know about such a good rating of this service on this review website. Maybe people get something from Google. I do not get anything. I did not found the concept of this service correct as it comes pre-installed and encourages people to become local guides for some points like in a video game. Features and functionality are ok. It is easy to use. Help and support is not good as I did not received any response from them except ingenuine response of their search engine when I wrote a review on their play store. Look and feel is ok. It is not value for money because it only uses people to write reviews and give ratings.

From the service point of view it provides offline and online services to the user and also it provides the the how much of speed we have traveled and this would be calculated and the gives the exact result about distance and a current location.

But , Sometimes it gives wrong info regarding the direction.

One piece of advice I would like to give other prospective constant is that this would be the best product based on street view location finding traffic in your area, places nearby bhai or public transportation timing, best and short route to use and the most think it's easy to access. So that everyone can use this product and gain the benefits.

I have been using this google maps for more than 5 years now, and I am going to share my experience. I like this app so much earlier but after this new update came to it, it has been made my android device very slow now.

Please go through the problems that are facing me to other users due to this new update

1) The GPS usage by the new google map is very strong it takes full control over it which may bring accuracy to the current location but it has a negative effect which is the battery getting drained must faster.

2) Location Save, some may like this feature as it helps offline but in my opinion, this feature is consuming a lot of space on android devices which are making the android lag and slow a lot.

3)Unable to perform multitask functions as more than 50% of the ram of the device gets consumed by this new google maps.

Google maps are good service providing maps in worldwide . We have to write your location where you want to go then this apps will loacate you by navigation or satellite and this app will tell you that you have to take right then left and your destination distance , timing and so on .

If destination is a good place then we can see the picture of the location which you guys have selected.

We can use this app everywhere in world like if we go to another country it will help us .

Hi Friends, Personal experience of me on Google maps. I hate Google maps sometimes because, in 2017 I applied for forest department exam for that they gave me examination center at medchel Geethanjali college, it is very far to my location so my brother used Google maps to drop me at that location.

For some point of time it shows correct route after then at outer ring road, map shows the route which is not correct. We made 3 to 4 circles near ring road by seeing the maps and my brother got irritated with maps and stops seeing maps for sometime and went upto 6kms then started seeing maps, at that time it shows correct route.

At that point of time we got irritation on Google maps. This was very bad experience to me.And also I have 3 to 4 bad experiences with Google maps.

This is the one app I can't live without. It is like a life savior for someone like me who is really terrible at road navigation. I like the way it's giving its command. Really precise and also with very clear instruction.

I have used other GPS before especially when I was in Europe and it was a nightmare. The direction given by the voice command is too long that you can't really catch what do you have to do next.

But not with Google Maps. You will get to your destination exactly as the ETA given. It is as if every corner of the road is at your fingertips!

I am giving this app 5 stars for making my life a lot easier!

Here we discussing about a web mapping service developed and owned by Google.

It offers satellite imagery, street maps, real time traffic condition and planning of root for travelling by foot, car, bicycle.

It was first launched in february, 2005. It also offers crowdsource contribution under local guide program to add photos, videos, checking facts, uncover missing place, answering simple questions, writing reviews about a place.

It also give some special offers, discount, coupon as rewards.

I am also working as a local guide for seven month and get a coupon for redbus.com for puchasing ticket with a discount of 200. I really love to work as a local guide and helping people for knowing things about a place.Google also appreciate our efforts by giving such things.

Hy everyone!

I guess everyone knows and uses google maps. This is one of the best thing Google has provided us.

There are many things graet about it, I am using it snice last 4 years and it has always helped me to find the ways for the place where I am new or where I have never been.

It is so easy to use, I check out my exam centers, even for the first time to coaching I went with its help, its trustable and better to ask someone unknown, which may lead you to a wrong way. You can even serch for new places nearby.

It's a saftey feature for girls as well as they check whether the taxi driver or auto driver is taking them to the right way or not.

If you dont know anything about any place and want to know the estimated time to reach there and distance as well all you need to do is just enter the destination in it and it will tell different options as well like through which mediums you can go like train, car, bus, walk etc.

If you are alone riding then also there is no worry just enter the destination and the google assistant will speak and show it on screen when to take right, left, or any turn.

It also tells you the landmarks and many things coming in your way and you can find restaurants, cafe, hospitals, hotel etc in your way if you need them.

So keep exploring with google maps.

Google map was much fun before but now they have another new app for google earth. Previously it was in one app now we have to download 2 apps to use it making it consume our phone RAM and uncomfort to use the app. Hope you guys will club both the app again.and map udates are so slow .those maps have been taken from 2014 I guess. We need a better amd a latest map because we cannot look out for the old ones. Everything changes. And editing by the public is making it a worst. Almost everone put up a wrong address and wrong names. Restrict and privacy can be better.

Hi,

I still remember the days where we either rely on local guides or physical map for directions. Which was difficult and I will always get lost from my directions.

Luckily we have Google maps now which shows exact directions, shortcuts. Even if we are lost we can always rely on Google maps.

.Can view satellite map as well

.Can locate nearest shopping mall, restaurant, petrol bunk or anything

Cons:

.Battery usage is high, since it uses gps for accurate device location
