I m studying in gcet in 2nd year civil branch. This college is very nice. Its education is very awesome. Its campus is very large and very attractive. At the entrance big fountain is there. All feculties are very friendly and helps in any queries. Gcet is started in 1996. And is only college of engineering of gujarat is self finance. But its belong to gujarat technolgy university. It is also know as IIT bakrol because it is opened at night also it means it opens 24×7. In 2013, GCET ranked 53 in india , in 2014 its ranked in india is 42 , in 2015 GCET ranked 27 in india. All feculties graduated from IIT and NIT. its principle Dr. Himanshu Soni is graduated from IIT Bombay.

If you wnat to take admission in GCET dont be hesitated .

As a 2014 pass out engineering student, I am qualify enough to review this college. They are offering 7 UG as well as 5 PG programs. Affliated to Gujarat Technological University. Administrative staff is not so co operative so are some faculty members, but rest of the faculty members are well qualified and professional. Campus is modern but area is very less. Hostel faclity is satisfactory but canteen as well as mess facility is not good.

College is doing exceptionally well in extra curricular activities. Motivated team and energetic faculty member to guide. Robotics and techfest are taking place too. Very good library facility . Lab facilities are also satisfactory but needs some improvement.

Alumni network is growing and they are helding alumni meet every two years.

Placements figures are very good. Almost every eligible student will get multiple chances for placement

Overall good learning expierience for undergrad student.
