Forever Gold - Antonio Vivaldi Reviews

Beautiful Anytime

For my birthday this month I was given a wonderful recording entitled Classics Collection, Antonio Vivaldi, Forever Gold. I have always loved the pure energy that is to be found in the compositions of Vivaldi, so this was a total delight. This recording includes 18 tracks and has a playing time of fifty eight minutes and thirty eight seconds, so it works very well whether listening to it while reading, or simply reflecting on the days events. The length of time is also wonderful for playing it while having dinner guests over.

  3. Danza pastorale; Allegro

These selections also feature the Sofia Chamber Orchestra with Vassil Kazandjiev conducting. Sinfonia No. 3 in G minor p.3 RV. 149

The selections 10 through 12 feature the Sofia Chamber Orchestra with Vassil Kazandjiev conducting. Concerto for four violins and orchestra in B Flat Major p.367 RV.553

The selections 13 through 15 features the Bulgarian Broadcasting Sinfonietta Orchestra with Simeon Shtrev on flute being conducted by Kamen Goleminov conducting. Concerto for flute and orchestra in C minor P.440

  1. Allegro non molto

  2. Largo

  3. Allegro non molto

The final three selections on this recording feature Stokika Milanova on violin with the Sofia Soloists Chamber Orchestra with Vassil Kazandjiev conductor. Winter from The Four Seasons (Nos. 1 - 4) of The Trial Between Harmony and Invention Op. 8

  1. Allegro non malto

Overall Quality

In this listeners opinion this is an excellent rendition of some of the wonderful works of Antonio Vivaldi that lived between the years of 1678 - 1741. These orchestras do an excellent job at bringing the fire and drama to these beautiful works.
