The hospital is a sham. They are just here to mint money and accomplish their targets. Patient welfare is the least of their concern. The cleanliness in the hospital is next to negligible. There is no one to clean the inpatient toilet. No one from the Patient welfare and housekeeping comes even after repeated calls. I took my mother to the emergency at Fortis Hearts Institute Okhla New Delhi as she was complaining of unbearable lower abdomen pain. There was no bed in the emergency still they did not let us leave. Then after painkiller shots and CT scan we were told that she has a 6mm stone at the kidney pelvic junction which needs to be operated asap and hence the patient needs to be admitted. Dr. Arshad from the Emergency told us that the procedure to remove the stone would be undertaken the next morning and assured us that Dr. Paresh Jain would be our consulting urologist who would do the procedure. We deposited the money and got my mother admitted. Till 2pm of the next afternoon , no one had the CT scan reports. One doctor told us that the stone size is 6mm and the other 5mm, whereas Dr. Paresh Jain and Dr. Mayank from the urology department couldn’t see the stone in the scans. It’s been 24hrs since her admission but there is no report, no conclusive evidence to prove the diagnosis and no reports to have the preauthorisation of expenses from my insurance company.

For lever they have Dr. Vikram Bhatia OPD he is a very senior doctor who resigned from the govt job and continued with fortis. Very good doctor. The way observation is amazing. I've not seed a doctor taking things point by point.

It's just that he asked for too many reports from diffrebt sources. Which cost a lot but as long as you want to be sure of a problem I think it's okay. I recommend him for lever and swelling problem. Should go for a diagnosis if you suffer from swelling while sitting some time it's your lever who stops working. And then the salt you have in food make extra water in your body.

My father in Law was admitted in Escots Heart Institute- Delhi after breaking his hip bone. On our calliing the emergency Escots responded within minutes to pick up the patient from home. in clock work prescision all activities was done at the hospital i.e. admission, room allotment operation, shifting him to ward, post operation care etc.

Escots Heart Institute provided a very human touch to all activities with great care and understanding.

Team of Doctors did a great job and where always available to explain in detail about the progress of the patient and would listen to us and answer any question put to them.

I recommend this hospital to everyone who can afford it.
