Elgin Silver Oaks, Kalimpong

We stayed in this hotel for one night while travelling around north India. The view from the garden was beautiful and garden was also amazing we spend ages in it . Really it is wonderful .

Our room is very impressive.r really nicely furnished and large. The view of mountain from the room window in outstanding. It definitely had the wow factor.

The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was also excellent. The big dinning hall was beautiful.main market is also near the hotel.

So it was very beautiful and memorable place.

As informed by my travel agent that Kalipong was a very tiny town, I was amazed to see Elgin properties in that place. As always Elgin Group of Hotels have lived upto their names. At such a great price, getting a heritage hotel for stay was just amazing. Silver Oaks is a beautiful property with heritage charms. The rooms are so amazing.

The colour combination of curtains to bed covers are so pretty that it you won't feel like spoiling the bed cover or removing it. The food is amazing is, absolutely amazing. The staffs too are very hospitable and always ready to help. This hotel was packed when I visited and was lucky enough to have done booking in advance. Advance booking highly recommended. Very little to see in Kalimpong so a night stay is enough, but if you want to visit this place for peacefulness, then you can stay a day or two more.
