I feel this review is:
I was treated by Dr. B C Shah, Gastrointestinal, Endoscopic, and Laparoscopic Surgeon, for an Umbilical hernia at Bhakti Vedanta Hospital Mira Road on 28/06/2023. I was discharged on 30/06/2023. My Mediclaim Agency, Star Health covered the entire hospital bill and furthermore, Dr. B C Shah waived the hospital deposit that is typically required upon admission, which was a considerable relief for me. I only had to pay for my medical tests, making the financial burden much more manageable.
Another reason I chose Dr. B C Shah for my umbilical hernia surgery is because of his success with my daughter's surgery years ago. When she was just 2 and a half years old, Dr. B C Shah operated on her hernia, and she has not faced any complications since then. Now, at 19 years old, she is healthy and thriving. This track record of success further reinforced my trust and confidence in Dr. B C Shah's capabilities.
It has only been a week since my surgery, and I have already started resuming some of my daily activities, including light kitchen work. This speedy recovery is consistent with my encounter with Dr. B C Shah in 2004 when he performed my appendicitis operation. Back then, I also recovered remarkably fast, I highly recommend him based on the positive experiences I had till now.

I had taken my 64 yr old mother to the doctor for gall bladder treatment. Dr Shah appeared very friendly and was able to diagnose in no time. My mother was very scared to get operated but Dr Shah instilled confidence in her that she was ready to got operated to my utter surprise in just next 2 days. Due to her old age, the operation had some complexity but Dr Shah made everything appear simple and my mother walked out of the hospital by day 5. Really nice doctor.
My mom had an trilobulated umbilical hernia from 20 years when investigated through CT it was 28.5×21.5×13 cms approx. We consulted many specialist and renowned medical institutes for the same there they suggested a long procedure along with the complicated surgery which could go upto 2 months and expensive. We were petrified when we approached Dr Bimal Shah. He not only explained us about the pros and cons and the criticality of the herniated sac but also was determined to put an end to this debilitating pain. Doctor is very calm, composed, stays to his words and really an expert and the rigid confidence which is very rare to find. With the simple procedure, surgery was successful and the after treatment went with so much ease and comfort. Doctor is very kind, supportive and always gives a reasonable cost solutions. Hernia was really large and had major complications with involvement of her bowel movements which could show ramifications and make everything worse but no other doctor could have done this surgery with such good outcome and comfort. It has been three months now and it just seems like a miracle. We really thank him from the bottom of our heart for something which seemed really impossible to operate. No happiness in the world could fathom the state in which we are now after seeing our mom spending time like the good old days.

We visited him on 1st October with my father who is 84 years old he was having multiple stones in gol bladder as per sonography, he said he is aged he can not say anything
Tomorrow being 2nd October is holiday, we asked him his no for emergency he gave us 9 digit Mobile no "repeating twice that we should not call him"
When asked about 9 digit he said he was having light reflection due to covid shield he was wearing on his head hence due to glare only he wrote 9 digit mobile no i think if you wake up in midnight one will not give his own wrong mobile no
When we asked for prescribing medicine and asked if that will work to reduce my fathers pain he said "HOPE SO I CAN NOT SAY ANYTHING FOR AGED PERSON"
My opinion don't visit him at all if you have aged person as patient

He is very gentle and soft spoken. He listens to your problem understands and then advice you for the best Treatment. I had operation fear which I had informed him earlier but he handled me carefully and I got operated by him for gall stone.
I did not even knew when operation got completed and well recovered.
I would recommend him for being a good surgeon.

Dr. B.C Shah was extremely patient with my questions regarding my surgery. He was also honest and didn't try to sugar-coat, he told me the facts, gave his recommendation, then let me decide what was best for me. He helped me in every way possible. I highly recommend him and his staff.
Strange ! I have gone through various comments below. I found the similar language in it but my experience in totally different. I just talked with one of my friend doctor who told me everyday I see around 200 patients but there is not a single review on internet. Whereas I found doctor is too much busy even didn't get answers of line treatment. Bhaktivedanta hospital is very costly hospital they are doing business on the name of God ( Hare Krishna).

He went the extra mile to do what was best for me(not necessarily what was easiest) during my surgery, and was always attentive during my post-surgery care.
I always have a lot of questions, and instead of brushing me off, he was always patient and thorough in answering them.

I m Prashant Sharma. I had terrible pain in my stomach. Went to Bhaktivedanta Hospital and met senior Dr Shah who I had heard about from before only.
He carefully examined me and asked me relevant questions. Told me to do certain scans and tests. Few days later got to know its appendix. He did a laprascopic surgery on me, which was successful.
He gave me full support as I was scared of operation. Anyways, I liked his attitude and approach towards his patients.
My mother had a complex surgical problem. I showed to atleast 5 surgeons at Mira Road - everyone's advice was different and not convincing. The budget was too much.
I visited Bhaktivedanta Hospital in morning and showed it to Dr. Sanjay. I was still not satisfied with his explanation as they were not co-relating to my mother's complaints.
I inquired at reception as to who was the senior most in Bhaktivedanta Hospital. I was told that I will have to come in evening and meet Dr. Bimal Shah.
At first glance he looked too simple. But once he started to listen, I noticed he could predict lot of symptoms that my mother was suffering. He explained me logically. It was a radically different advice then most of the surgeons I had meet so far. He simplified the problem and pointed out the core problem. The budget was also affordable. I decided to go with him.
After 15 days now, my mother is at home. She is relived of her problem and she is eating again. He is the senior most surgeon in Bhaktivedanta Hospital and the fastest operating surgeon in Mira Bhayandar.
While I was in hospital, I saw that he is so busy that whole day he has surgeries. Only time he is available is in the evening. Good I had done some research in searching the right doctor.
