Awesome vanilla taste
Mar 09, 2016 04:57 PM 1698 Views (via Android App)

Well the major difference between this coke and the other normal coke is that. This coke has a vanilla taste in it.but it is Diet vanilla coke.

Those who like a bit of vanilla. Then this coke is especially for you. Because when you drink it. Initially you didnt found much vanilla. But after drinking it leaves a vanilla taste in your mouth. and thats I like the most.

Well. I recommend all of you to give it a try.  If you drink cold drinks then please try.

Best diet soft drink out there, for now...
Mar 23, 2005 04:22 AM 2776 Views

This the ONLY diet soft drink that my wife will drink, and my favorite. We were immediate fans of the non-diet version when it first came out, and once the diet version came out, we made the switch.

I was a die-hard Dr. Pepper drinker for over 15 years, but Vanilla Coke stole my business. Then, at the urging of my doctor, we started making the shift to diet drinks and Diet Vanilla Coke is the one and only diet drink for our household.

Great taste, actually is better than the non-diet version. The vanilla flavoring takes the edge off that all-too-familiar diet after taste. Refreshing and crisp, but still pleasant to drink.

Now the bad news, I just called the local Coke bottling/distribution center and they said the 2 litre bottles of DVC (as my family calls it) are no longer being bottled or distributed!

Surely this is a mistake. I have left a message encouraging the local bottler to bring this item back to the market and I ask any of you who like this product to do the same.

Deliciously vanilla with no calories!

Diet vanilla coke was surprisingly tasty when I tried it. expecting a watered down, over fizzy taste, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it tasted good! no calories, no carbs, no sugar...nothing bad, but still a good taste! i'm not a die-hard coke or pepsi fan, and i've had both vanilla coke and pepsi vanilla... I must say, though, that I preferred diet pepsi vanilla. anywho, diet vanilla coke is very good, although coke products seem to be a bit more fizzy and make you burp a bit more...so it's a drink that you should probably drink while by yourself and not on a hot date :-D anyway, if you are die hard coke fan, or you don't care either coke or pepsi, both vanilla drinks are delicious. if you are in the mood for a nice change of pace from either coke, diet coke, or the one with a bit of lemon in it, this is a good thirst quencher. do try it!

I want you to know that I don't believe any Soda Pop is healthy for any one to drink. If you drink it occasionally then it's better to drink the real Pop and not the diet one.

I didn't even know that DIET VANILLA COKE was a topic on MouthShut until I read Gowser's review.

As it happens I went shopping the other day and by mistake I bought this by mistake.

~O THE CAN O~

You can buy any type of Coca Cola in a 12 can box and not a bottle because I can taste the plastic in the bottle.

The can is easy to recognize as it is a bright red colour with a white written logo that spells out Diet Vanilla Coca Cola.

It is easy to open with the pull back tab.

When I open the can I can smell vanilla. The first sip I took tasted like a Vanilla Coke but the aftertaste was sickly sweet.

When I finished the glass I found that it did not quench my thirst so I went and had a glass of ice cold water.

~O THE POUR O~

I always drink Coke over a lot of ice. When I pour the Coke into a glass there is a lot of foam.

To stop the foam from running over the glass I put one finger on top of the glass and the foam begins to go down. Please don’t drink it until all the foam has gone because if you don’t you’ll get a lot of gas.

~O The Formula O~

’’Vanilla extract, water, artificial sweeteners, cola extract, citric acid, caffeine citrate and lime juice.’’

I’m sure there is more but that is all I could see on the can and most Companies like to keep their ingredients a secret.

~O WARING O~

This product contains artifical sweetners which is not healthy. It also has caffeine and that is highly addictive.

~o SOME THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW O~

In one 12 ounce can:

’’There is no fat, protein or calories. There is 0.50 grams of carbs, 55 mg. of sodium and 50 grams of sugar.’’

~O THE COMPANY, (from their information) O~

’’The drink began in a Candy Store that was owned by Joseph A. Biedenharn. The Store was in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He just wanted to make a drink to sell to his customers. The first drinks that were bottled in something called a ’’Hutchinson’’.

The drink was an instant hit and Mr. Biedenharn sent a case to Asa Griggs Candler who was the owner of the Coca Cola Company’’. The rest of the Story I am sure you know.

Today the Company is base in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. At their Company there they have built The World of Coca-Cola. This is one of Atlanta’s Tourist Attractions’’.

~O THE COMPANY MAKES MANY OTHER TYPE OF THINGS O~

I could not believe it when I read, (from their page):

’’They make 230 brands of nonalcoholic beverage and the formula is different in other areas of the World. They say they make Coke with Apricots, Coffee and Lychee Nuts’.’’ I would love to try those!

I did know that Coke is sold around the World as I have bottles from Israel, Hong Kong and Greece. I also know that they make soft drinks, fruit juices, bottled waters and sports drinks that are available to us in Canada. I have tried Coke with Cherries, Orange, Lemon and the new Vanilla flavour. I enjoyed them as well and I do drink them just for a change. I always go back to the Original Coca-Cola.

The COMPANY also makes a lot of different collectable. I have a few trays and my Husband has a few Base Ball Caps.

The home site for Coca-Cola is:

~O THE AD:

The as for Diet Vanilla Coke are testimonials by Celebrities

that begin, ''Reward your curiosity.....''.

~O MY THOUGHTS O~

I did not enjoy Diet Vanilla Coke at all and I don't recommend it.

For 12 cans, (each is 4.26L), we paid $3.00. CAD.

Carton # JN2303RDC15083

If I want to drink a Vanilla Coke I'll still be drinking the real one.

Comments are always welcome and ratings don't matter.

Brings back childhood memories

When I went to the states over christmas I was eager to try Vanilla Coke especially after reading all the lovely reviews about it. We don't yet get Vanilla Coke in the UK. Anyway when we went to try it I was informed that you could get both the regular version and the diet version. I decided to try both.

Both Vanilla Coke and Diet Vanilla Coke have the tast of regular coke with added vanilla. The regular version was nice but I found it very sweet. On the other hand in the diet version having the artificial sweetner cuts the sugary sweetness somewhat and allows more of the vanilla taste to come out and hence makes a more pleasant tasting drink. Because it is less sweet you can drink diet Vanilla coke with most types of food. It comes in the standard cans and bottles and is similarly priced. From what we saw Diet Vanilla Coke was readily available in Supermarkets but not always available in restaurants and fast food outlets. I assume that it contains exactly the same amount of caffeine as regular coke does and hence you do not have to worry about losing your caffeine fix. I find it a little less refreshing than regular coke and hence I can't drink a lot of it at one go. I think this is because of the added vanilla. This can only be a good thing as you shouldn't drink too many soft drinks anyway. I like the drink because as a kid I used to have coke floats (coke + vanilla ice cream) and Diet Vanilla Coke has the same taste as the coke floats used to. Vanilla Ice Cream is quite subtly sweet and the regular Vanilla Coke is just a little too sweet for me. If you personally found Vanilla Coke too sweet I would try the Diet version as you might like it. Alternatively if you are worried about the calories in regular Vanilla Coke then Diet Vanilla coke may be the answer. I personally just like the taste.
