I joined cyient in 2020, it was a nightmare, Manager and HR don't care about employees.


They think company unke baap ki hai. They took 1 year to release my experience letter.


My suggestion if you have option don't join cyient

Managers i have worked with are the creepiest specimens I have ever worked


They have complete control of your career.


FOR FRESHERS coming here, I would advice not to come and waste your bloody valuable years.Instead search for any startups.


I have joined here as a fresher in 2019..now it's 2021. Managers doesn't give you any work unless you are in power electronics(depends).


You will be given some data entry work that's all.


And if your manager is level 100 creep and you are a female, trust me say good bye to peace of mind.


Salary is just a joke here.project managers wantedly doesn't approve your time sheets which leads to salary cut.


They just expect you to be a puppet, discussing there personal stuff and expect you to solve their personal problems.


During these stupid WFH , Literally saying you my manager asked me how to detangle his kid's messy hair and asked me to talk to his kid whenever she wants to talk. Unprofessional idiots I say.


If you want to genuinely learn some work..please please don't come here!!!

I’m worked in Cyient company for 8 months in Gis and there I learn too many in work and knowledge of everything which is I don’t know about anything. It is best opportunity to work there

Cyient did layoff during covid-19 situation. Company target is 900 employees and already management made more than 300 employees to resign themself by forcefull harassment.

Hello guys I write a review about Cyient Ltd.


And Cyient is formly known as infotech Pvt Ltd and tele atlas.


The main work of cyient is completely based on Geographical information system but now cyient is working on all other profiles like as avionics, mechanical , civil and chemical sectors and its turnover is around 1200-4000 crs per yr.


In this company my working experience is based on Gis engineer and this is my second Company of my life and my whole experience and I am suddenly completed my 2 years in this company.


And In gis sector this is the top most ranking companies in Delhi ncr region.


If you join as a fresher they give 3 month training for their works and about their tools. And in training time you enjoy very much with their cool environment.


Their increment on every month of March.


As usual hr of these company is little bit rude but other staff are good in behaviour.


Its have zero working pressure.


If your productivity is high you get award also.


That's its

Cyient is literally Manager driven company and all managers settle down in that Company as they don't find any growth as well. Few managers I have seen and worked under them but that kind of managers I never seen in my Industry at all. My Personal experience with that bloody manager is he / she fired a candidate due to a silly reason the reason is candidate's attitude is not sync with manager. Also manager used to treat all my friends as a school LKG kids. I suggest all not to join that company even though company profile is very nice, Manager is not correct person. Also he / she used to tease whoever is not liked by that stupid manager.

This review is truly personal review based on my experience at Cyient.


.1.Manager driven company: Manager act as dictators in the company. They do micro management from the time you enter to exit from office.




  1. They will make to go down to knee for Relieving and brings personal grudges. If you are personal favour you will be relieved in a day or so.




  2. All keep pretending to be busy and do nothing about the major issue.




  3. Appriasal increase will not be more than 2000/month irrespective of the hardwork/smart work done.




  4. Everyone believe in blame game and no one is interested in pushing there work to others.






6.policies are used at per HR's convenience.




  1. Inflexible workplace-no work from home option, no cab facility, boring cafeteria.




Sincere request  choose wisely .

Good start point for new employees those want to get the start my friend spend 1 year over here but no growth mAnasultangement is also not good only for start work 1 year no need to file any bond if you fill any bond they people sucks you get the job take work experience mean while search new job n left this is just for starting the career .not good salary they were offered into service business for maps n all so many things that solve any more info required please mark comments thanks.@!

I have been working with cyient since last 2 years. I expect growth and longterm future in cyient but as time pass I feel that this is not a company where you can see your growth. HR and management is less supportive to employees and so much partialities are going on.


HR department is doing many mistake during apraisal time while we are waiting and expecting for good increment, and mistake of HR people will screw your happiness. If you ask management they blame to HR, you go to HR they blame to management and at the end you are in loss. So inshort I am trying to tell you that cyient is only good for start your career and get experiance after that switch to other company, don't find your career there. Best of luck for bright future.

This company is full of bad things.


Although Juniors employees are good, but those sitting on mangers and team leads are just stupid fellow, they think their only responsibility is to show their authority on others. and to always threaten them. they neither have manners to talk to other, sometime they will fight loudly in ODC. there is a lady called nivedita k in cyient bangalore, - she I just A witch in human form, having no manners to talk or work, or even any single manner of a leader.


beside this package I very low and you have to sign the bond. they will cheat you on package, while in interview they will tell some different package and in offer letter different package will be mentioned. once I complained about the hygiene of cafeteria( I found worm in plate), after they began to serve me in last. there is manner or discipline among Senior persons in cyient.

Cyient formally known as infotech private limited it name was changed to cyient  to become a brand in providing engineering services to the clients . In cyient  be around more than 10000 employes it has many branches in India around the globe it was first started in hyderabad .


Cyient CEO is MOHAN reddy. It  is a very professional company with a young and energetic team running the business. Always on the look out to do things differently. Lots of opportunities exist to grow. Performers get recognized easily.


Unbiased Review of Cyient- Worked for 5 years

Cyient(Formerly known as Infotech) would be one of the worst company you will ever work in if you ever join this company. Period. It is best for people who do not want to grow and want to have stagnated standard career with no growth(promotion once in 3 years until and unless you have any godfather in the company and you know how to speak Telugu).


I have worked there for many years and what I will try to do here is give a comprehensive picture of Cyient's culture. This would be completely unbiased and the reason I am doing this is because nobody will ever take the pain to write such an elaborate review for such a unknown, unpopular entity.


Its not at all a company which encourages people with diverse background. Meetings are conducted in Telugu including all high level meeting where we have VP’s, Sr VP’s are involved such as Vidyalankar N(VP, Operation technology).


They will rant for long in Telugu and nobody can obviously dare break their monologues. Highly unprofessional environment with no regard for muting phone and nobody even minds if you start taking calls in middle of a meeting.


It is kind of a company where nobody will take any responsibility for anything. Everybody will try to shirk of responsibility even if it is an escalation about a project or a problem between employees. You can very well commit a sexual harassment and no one will ever take any action about anyone.


About CSR, they think they are doing awesome job in CSR, but CSR in Infotech is just a hog wash. Company does not spend anything from its pocket instead keep taking money from employees salary in name of CSR. This is all so that they can just print it in their Annual report and report at the end of the year


Again let me reiterate. I have worked Infotech for many years and have seen and experience work environment with low level people and managers as well as VP’s, Sr. VPs. So it is not a case of one instance. I have seen the DNA of the company and how it operates and will operate in future.


Last year its year on year growth was merely 6%. The baffling part is that In 2010 company planned to be a 1 billion dollar company by 2014. Right now in December 2013 it is 345 million dollar company. So they have missed the mark by not 10% or 20% but by whole 289%. So what kind of strategy went into making that strategy which had people like CMD, Sr VP’s and all who’s who of Infotech. This is a very good idea how the company operates.


It is interesting to note that Infotech has a whole strategy team loaded with Sr VP, Sr Manager, executives and third party consultants who created this strategy. I think what they are proficient is in Google search research and nothing more.


I remember a practice head was removed from the company because in a one on one session with CMD as to how to increase Infotech’s revenue he spoke his mind about changing the culture and people mindset of company. CMD did not like it as it is a company which he created and nobody can say anything in a way as it was described by him. In a period of 8 months he was eased out of the company by giving him non-essential positions. He had no option but to leave the company as he was being made to work on non-consequential projects.


Salary hikes are in the range of 6-10% and promotion are not based on ability but based on time. After three years everybody gets an automatic promotion whether you work or not. Looking at the growth of the company which only grew 6% it is highly likely that appraisals would be a nightmare soon. Starting salary for Infotech is Rs. 5000 /month for data operators and normally B.Sc graduates are working in these position. I once had an auto driver advising me not to work in Infotech as they pay very less. He had one of his cousin’s don working there as data operator(I should have listened to that driver. It was good piece of advice).


Lets get to HR. Well HR team is run by a very close aid of CMD. So nobody dare complains anything about HR. I have done that once and paid the price for it. HR is filled with dames who worry more about their looks in front of top management then about company policies. Trust me they have not even read company policies, normally employees have to go with a printout as a proof to substantiate the claim they are making.


There is one lady Srilakshmi Kalaguri in HR who just tops everyone. She addresses employees as “BOSS” and her normal statement is “Boss you do not know this, so please go and read the policy and then come to me” and the funny part is she does not even know that addressing an employee that way is wrong because I once told her “Why are you calling me like that?” and she said “What did I call you?” So you get an idea of HR function.


Just a case in point HR people are so worried about their position in front of top management that if there is employee engagement program going on and suddenly a person from top management comes in the room the whole training stops. HR is busy attending the manager and make sure she tell how capably she is running the event and whether the manager wants any tea or coffee. That is right, they are HR and they get tea and coffee for managers.


They even organize events by the way. Events such as salad making competition, noodle making competition, rangoli making competition, hair braiding competition. Most beautiful competition, most stylish competition, most cool guy. They also make sure that at least 80% of HR gets prizes and get awarded by senior manager. No sport event are ever organized and if you are lucky you get a carom board tournament once in two years.


You do not get free chai or coffee and have to pay for it. Executives do not get notepad, pen, dairy, calendar or parking space for cars. Only if you are a manager you get a diary . AGM and above get parking space and and VP and above you get a calendar as well. They do this bifurcation to cut cost and not waste money.


Canteen is worst then even my college hostel. Meal is typical non- cooked meal with non-baked chappatis and costs 40 bucks. No non-veg food is sold and previously about couple of years back you were not even allowed to bring Non-veg in your tiffin.


80% of the developers and managers can hardly frame two sentences in English and you never get a feeling that you are working in a private organization. This company was formed in 1991 and it has only grown to 345 million USD with 11000 employee is a testament in itself of its failure and where it is heading.


As for the brand value, it is negligible. I have people question “Which company is this, is it in IT?”; “Is it part of Infosys?" and stuff like that even if there company is like 500 meter from Infotech.


So if you are planning to join Infotech then don’t join. But I know there are circumstances where you do not have a job or you are desperately looking for a change and have landed offer from Infotech, so what do you do in this case? I say take this job, keep taking your salary but make sure you do not stop job hunting because at Infotech you would be not given any recognition ever. Middle management always keeps resigning.


Top management never changes. Top management keep playing musical chairs among themselves. They keep giving themselves promotions, change there job profiles at their whim and get pay hikes. They never leave. It is fresher who would be suffering, working on weekends. Make sure as soon as you get some experience you get out from here otherwise Infotech it will destroy your intellect by stopping any growth in learning, speaking and thinking skills.


Infotech actually does not want smart people honestly because they can threaten managers job inside the company. They deliberately hire people from low rate colleges so that they cannot overpower them. If you are ambitious and good in spoken English you can really overpower them in a second. But eventually after working with them you will just smile at them in same manner when you read Garfield everyday and smile at the cat’s stupidity. Its like why to argue and get in a debate with them as they will not change there perspective or way of thinking.


I was lucky to have a manager who just egged me all the time to leave the company.(He himself left in 1 year) but unfortunately I stayed here for more than I expected as there were some family exigencies which just dragged on for years and could never concentrate on my career. Now I have been placed in a fortune 500 company and very satisfied with my role and with my free cup of coffee here.

A CRAP HOLE with Deutsche Bags!!!


Pros:


TO start with, The new name to the company and the higher Management at the Department level were very great but otherwise I still wonder if there are any pros at all...


I worked for Avionics (my reviews mentioned in 'Cons' are purely with respect to the department I have mentioned) and few managers were really supportive and great but some were, never mind! In the HR team- VIJAYA was very very supportive and the only capable HR!

Where do I start to end this?


I joined in as a fresher... First two months seemed exciting! we were 50 and off freshers joining in the year 2011. Like every other passed out student I had dreamt of a decent work life without huge expectations. I believed that an era of good phase in my life had begun but how wrong was I!!!


In few months I learnt I was stuck in a heap of crap! Corporate could get so dirty - I had never imagined!


Women are exasperated and very old fashioned in mind and tag everyone... They come to office not to work but to make friends who are like minded and exasperate and gossip about every body else.


HR Sheetal was the worst woman ever met! She sucked at work and was only good for exasperated about every other woman in the company.


Place with typical narrow minded employees.


People who communicate with no grammatical mistakes were countable!


Back stabbing and gossiping not just by team mates but even managers.


Managers who listened to some pretty looking girls existed.


Place filled with Male chauvinists.


Horrible experiences as Managers got personal.


No Professionalism at all, they always got personal.


Passing comments and speaking dirty & cheap about women employees.


Never encouraging if you are good at work.


If any girl was in good books with big heads, she'd be tagged.


Have good communication skills, look presentable and interact well with clients and you are tagged!


Some filthy male employees still work there.


Favourism and politics are their keys to success.


You work because you are paid for it culture.


Personally if you are good with managers - Your appraisal is gauranteed...


On the whole a sad place with male chauvinists everywhere!


I grew at work and gained knowledge in my own way and got out of this heap of crap.


A place where you should turn deaf, blind and dumb to people working with you and remember - YOU GO THERE TO WORK AND NOT MAKE FRIENDS!
