As rightly said this is "Con" - "course" i.e. they con people for courses

I had just called  them up for an inquiry regarding few set of courses on latest technologies i.e. java, sql etc. but right after a basic inquiry called they called me every now and den. during this conversation I informed dem dat a colleague of mine wud be wanted to do this course alongwith with me

I took an advanced Excel class here and was impressed. I wasn't expecting much from a large group setting but I picked up quite a bit. The class moved rather quickly and the teacher was very knowledgeable despite the random what if scenarios I tossed here way. Classes will vary in quality depending on the instructor and the other people in the class (who might slow down the flow of the class or ask the same questions over and over again.

I found much value in the class and would consider coming back if I could find other interesting / worthwhile classes but no luck this far.

They don't teach properly, no notes are provided. The professor who was teaching us PHP did not have proper knowledge (not even basics of and while loops'). Instead of teaching PHP, he used to force us to join .NET and other languages and used to say "Diwali offer hain, isse sasta kabhi nahi milega and all".

He used to come late and just teach one My SQL query in three hours which should have only taken 5 minutes. The Management is just behind money. Once you pay the fees, they will never pay attention towards you. The other professors might be good, but most of them had left concourse. So, don't waste your time and money on this institute.

I had joined concourse in mid  2009 for their C, C+ course. After joining, my job timings changed.

So, I wanted to shift my timings to weekends as my weekdays evenings timings became packed.

They changed my timings immediately and that helped me to finish the course on track. I was

recommended by my colleagues to join the institute. Actually speaking, they practice what they

preach. I would recommend it to all my known contacts

Dear yogesh120 / harish,

Just changing suitable timings & completing your course on time doesn’t make any sense that this institute is good one. At the end of course what makes important is that what knowledge you have from this course and how you are able to use your knowledge at your work place.

So I will suggest you please don’t put yourself, your friends & your colleagues into dark. Its just wasting of your valuable time & money.

Once when I was in Bombay, India for a couple of months, I decided to do something useful with my time. What better way to utilize time than to hack up learning some new computer skills. I consulted some friends in Bombay and they suggested that I look at Concourse Information Tech. I went to their Andheri Branch to enquire about their courses and finally ended up joing Oracle/Developer 2000 full time course. It was a 13 day course of 8 hours each day.

There was this lecturer who was assigned to our batch of 13 initially. The guy did not know much and due to some complains was kicked out on the 3rd day. Their experiment with him failed. However, the next guy who they brought to teach was really very very good technically, though I would be able to say the same abt his spoken English skills. But that doesnt matter. For me the course was very useful and I learnt a lot.

I would think concourse is good as compared to the other 10000000 classes all ard Bombay. However before joining the class make sure you find out who is going to teach the class and find out abt his reputation as a teacher. They have some really good as well as a few pathetic lecturers.

I remember coming to this institute with a fear for programming. But the teaching methods and the approach used here by the faculty helped me overcome the fear and develop an inclination towards programming.

I thank concourse for bringing out the programming skills in me and help me gain confidence in myself.

I am so happy I finally took a class in oracle. I was very nervous at first because I have ZERO experience. Thankfully, as soon as class started, I realized it was not a problem. The class moved at a great pace for all the users, experienced or not.

I took beginning and advanced  my instructor was so helpful and nice. I learned so much and the next week back at work - as a refresher or as a beginner - take your class here!

I  enrolled for . Net course  in concourse, the training  is very good  here and they taught me  every thing practically . Personal   attention is given to me . Trainers are very experienced here. The trainer was very good and co-operative, extremely knowledgeable.

It helped me a lot. I ended up getting a good command over the .net

I joined the advance excel course in concourse. I think they are way too ahead then their other contemporaries in Navi Mumbai. They have people who undertake projects in advance excel who deliver the training out there.

The way they taught me macros vba prog and mis was amazing.the timings out there was flexible and the training was on a one on one basis between me and the faculty. eventually I ended up getting all that I was looking for in excel.

Right now cracked an inhouse interview on the same at the contract end of my company. for this course in navi mumbai blindly join them

I happened to join concourse sometime back and really had a harrowing experience.

I agree with Doom and it has been a total time waste.

First and foremost concourse has the lousiest management staff among all.They dont know what they are doing.

Big hollow empty talks is what they can give.

I guess Burhan Harris might want to take a look at the present state of affairs and raise its pathetic level to some extent.

Their syllabus is good but thats about it.

Hope this year they improve!!

Personally I would discourage anyone from joining Concourse for any courses in the near future.

As the name rightly suggests the courses con you. One of the most worst computer institutes I have ever seen in my life,they operate with no moral or business ethics.If this institute would have been in the usa I would have been a millionaire overnight had I sued them.

They have an excellent course outline but then they change the schedule,instructors and timings at their whim.

No refunds and when asked for they behave like perfect beggars and explain the technicalities to customers as to why they cant function properly.

Their marketing managers agree with whatever you say till the time you pay money..once thats done... end of responsibilities.

A total waste of money,time and energy I would never recommend Concourse to any one.
