In my opinion Bhagwati(in Rohini) is one of the most unhygienic hospitals in Delhi. I came here in the night, when my wife's labour pains got initiated and the following points highlight the reason why I can easily say that I had the worst experience ever and would discourage people to visit this hospital:
1) My wife was in extreme pain and there was no one to attend her. Night staff/nurses were having a sound sleep with all lights off. I had to run around and request sisters to at least attend the patient
2) Nurses were disinterested to answer attendants' queries
3) Finally when the patient had to go for operation, she had to wear hospital's gown. The gown was so small that it was making patient uncomfortable even when she was in pain. When asked, staff replied we dont have bigger gown, please adjust.
4) In the room(Single Room category), washroom was so dirty and was absolutely below the expected standard.
5) Sisters and maids were highly unhygienic. They were cleaning the cotton, with which they cleaned baby's toilet, in the jug kept for drinking water
6) Had to run around sweepers to clean the room and the dustbins
7) The bed sheets given to the patient had blood stains and according to the staff, that was the best sheet they had.
Believe me, the level of hygiene is better in government hospitals compared to Bhagwati.
This is not the first case, our relatives also had a similar experience and when complaint Mr. Pamnani(the MD of the hospital) was least interested to take any action as he believes that they are getting good business even at these standards.
I request everyone to take this post seriously and do not take their patients to this hospital.
- Thank You! We appreciate your effort.
