Balaji Grand Bazaar, Hyderabad

Balaji Grand Bazar is very famous Superstore in Hyderabad.

It has several branches at various locations. I had visited the one at Mehdipatnam few times. Its good. Has wide rage of products from various Indian and International brands. Various grocery items, health care and skin care products are available here.

In fact it has some product which are not easily available at other places like some international brands of honey, its difficult to get those products even at big malls, but its available at Balaji Grand Bazar.

Staff is good, products are of high quality and price ok.

So this all makes it a perfect place to shop.

From pippal to mayonnaise almost everything is available here in terms of food, not veggies though. Any exotic, popular spice or sauce you have heard off? You are most likely to find it here.

A chaat stall is available too for snacks like sandwiches, samosa chaat and stuff which attracts large crowds in the evenings, which look quite decent and hygienic and not messed up.

Balaji grand bazaar is a remarkable supermarket on Road No. 1 Banjara hills, which grew visibly over a period of one year lately. I stay in Masab Tank for quite a long time now and this place has proved to be savior many times. It is a pukka Marwari business in brewing, which is aware of public-demands, from where to fetch it and how to sell it importantly.

They have a good range of Green teas, care products, household stuffs and'rare' groceries. It is the only place in my knowledge which sells Flaxseeds apart from Q-Mart. To mention, this store has hands over the latter because of its wide reach of products even in flood crisis.

Only glitch would be the price tags being over effected because of the location like Banjara hills. I never get discounts unlike in other supermarkets and moreover, the staff is not so trained in customer dealing which can be a disappointment for some.

But yes, if you are tired of searching a rare product in the city, hit the store before giving up!
