Argus - Wishbone Ash

Many bands come and go. If it is a rock band, people are generally addicted to variety and alternative rock more than hard rock or metals. So, many a bands produce one hit album and perish. Perish would be too much to say, but mainly other albums don't receive much reception like the greatest hit.

Wishbone Ash, being a hit rock band in early 70's produced their legendary album Argus which earned them overnight success. With soft rock and not to aggressive riffs and slow drumming with tremble, this band made very nice'on-the-go' songs to be listened to best while travelling. Later on, ACDC from new era can be seen improvising on this style although being a metal band.

The album, released in 1972, won the title of album of the year in Sound Magazine. Originally album contained 7 tracks such as'Time Was', 'Sometime World', 'Warrior' and few more, the enlisted three being my favorite.

Later on I was turned into a metalhead so lost all respect for classic and blues rock.
