Akaasa Boutique Spa - Indiranagar - Bangalore

The SPA is designed well. Despite being in the now crowded locality of Indira nagar , one enters a zone of relative tranquility when inside. The therapists are professional and do a good job.

The massage rooms are large and there is an attached shower area.

There is also a separate area for steam (Not attached to room). Used steam room - not enough force. Going to be corrected soon as per the owner. The quality of bath towels is good - did not feel like old, used.

They are renovating the ground floor - which is probably why the area outside serves as the area to collect the cash (The SPA is in a tastefully done bungalow with a huge gate and high walls hence gives the required privacy). I assume this will change soon.

There was no piped music in the room - did not ask why. Cash taken after the service - this is unique amongst spa's I have visited.

Overall a great experience. Will definitely recommend.

The reception staff is not friendly and the people are least accommodating. They force the customers to take a massage and deny other services unless and until a full massage is taken. Quite unprofessional staff and least customer centric.

I would rate this place 2 out of 10 (where 10 being the best and 1 being the worst)...The whole purpose of going to a spa is to relax and detox, and here it none of this was met.
