HP PageWide Pro MFP 577dw

Hp Page-wide Pro MFP 577dw is a high end network printer from a renowned brand HP. Its basically priced at 60k range and single cartridge costs more or less 10k after gst. I am using this product for a long time in my office and today I am sharing my experiences with this printer.

Setup this printer is almost like any other network printer by HP, it has a feature like scan to network folder and for that you have to give it you computers username and password in printer interface if you are in a server-client environment.I have faced the following problems

1. Printer not responding, our office have excessive print requirement almost over 800 pages per day so printer is almost 24/7 on and when some scan work or printer work is in queing it become not responding at paper jam also happened at that time and we need to restart the printer

   
   




2. Automatically tray selection there is no option in printer properties for tray selection but after a huge print job printer though tray1 is closed wants paper in tray1

   
   




3. Scanning cannot be done over 30 pages consecutively

   
   




4. Costing three colour cartridges costs more or less than 30k and black cartridge costs almost 11k and the have a page yield over 8000 so cost per page is also a factor

   
   




5. it does not sense 130 gsm photo paper as a photo paper

   
   

6.scan speed is very slow it scans single pages and saves it then takes other pages for every single scan jobs

there is also some very good features in this

1. you can control colour from user interface

   
   




2. you can control printer on off scan copy jobs from user interface

   
   




3. both side scan is done via single scan this is the mose unique feature in this model

Hello friends today iam sharingy expediance witja ll of you friends iam saying few points of the product of the hp page wide pro printer it will be very difficult to give the output of the xerix copies of theachkne so it wipl be very fastly to give the output of the xerix sof the papers of rhe uaers so it wipl be very slow to give the output of the xwrox copies of tjr machine so iaftef a long time it will be very tough to give the output to the users of the xwrix machine some time sit will be stuks the papers

I had purchased this printer for my shop and also the quality and specification were sounding good. It is worth Rs 12, 000 and had one year warranty. It worked really well within one year. But soon the printer don't work as it was expected. The main problem was low quality printing. Some part got printed dark while other part light. The printing speed is very slow. Also the paper handling was not proper. Sometimes paper don't go inside and the catridge moves on it on. Also there is ink leaking proper which spoil the whole printer. The printer is big in size and require more space. Also the handling of the printer is difficult. It is a multi function printer. There are very few service Centre for this printer in Mumbai. And I called a insight servicing. A person came for repairing. He was very rude. And just looking at the problem he told me the cost of Rs 5, 000 which is high. For such a branded and high quality printer such things can happen is very bad. I suggest not to buy this printer as it will just waste your money.
