Samsung Corby S3650 Reviews

I purchased my Samsung Corby S3650 a few years ago.I used it for two years.It was pretty much a pathetic buy.The touch screen was horrible.Using the os was an irritating experience.As it was not an android based phone, a very little app support was present.

Probably I should have taken Nokia 5233 at that time as it had a better app support.The camera was also ordinary and not as per the samsung standards.

1) no onscreen QWERTY keyboard

2)no accelerometer

3)facebook, twitter, youtube apps just bookmark for browser and even samsung apps

4)no good apps in samsung apps for this phone

I just hate it, no qwerty is biggest problem

Conclusion: never buy it if u once owned an android, optimus in my case life feels like hell.

every samsung mobile while using a application it can be st rucked.So I don't like that this samsung Corby s3650

I had very poor experience with this SAMSUNG product. I bought this phone for my wife. The design was ok and it was working fine for 3 months. After that the speaker was not working and started seeing some lines in the screen. So we gave this for service. Visiting service center near anna nager(Chennai) is like visiting hospital. We have to wait at least 2 hrs in the service center as it is too crowded. Seems like I am not the only stupid bought such SAMSUNG product. After that once service is done to collect the same I had to take half day leave as this guys will be working only during office hours.

After service again withing 1 month the screen becomes blank and I had to give it for service and faced all the problem described above. It took more than 1 week to fix the problem. So I had to buy backup phone for the same and spent 3K for buying Nokia phone. This time within two weeks I had signal reception issue and where ever I go the signal is very poor. So now my back up phone becomes primary and I had to keep this SAMSUNG phone as backup.

I couldn't find any better way to convey such frustration. Fortunately I got to know about mouthshut and definitely this review will be useful for all. Before Buying any SAMSUNG phone please visit any of the Samsung mobile service center and see the reality. So that u will never dare to buy this half cooked products.

Well, to start with, its a great touch screen phone, very friendly interface..........u can feel the vibrations....with each touch.................

Now to go in depth................

best features are..............

~It has in bulit PDF file support.u can store many books at a time..

~Though just 2MP.....its Cam quality is superb.....in comparison with any other 2MP camera phone.......

~3 wallpapers....(which acts as multiple windows as in a computer)....so that u can listen 2 song in 1 screen..........change ur profile settings in 2 screen.........and open a memo in 3 screen.......

~its cheap...............available just below 7k.

~As for just 7k........u wont get a bettr phone than this

BAD.............

well.......whenever u install an application or a game(like java apps).......it gets installed in phone memory..So each time it is full u have to delete it to install new apps....

I bought a Samsung Corby in Oct. 2009. Couldn't have been happier. Sadly reality set in when the LCD screen went bad. Developed two parallel line and using it was a hindrance. Also, it simply did not play the FM radio. I took it to the Samsung Service center at Vashi on 8th May - hoping that within a week at least I would be able to use my Corby again., It seems there are no spare parts sent by the company and now I have to wait at least upto 5th June before I can get a replacement!!

The phone is juts over 6 months old! How is it that the LCD went bad so easily - and why do I have to wait a month for replacing the LCD...!!???

Luckily the phone is in warranty period but what happens if the LCD goes bad again!!?? sad... really!
