I was due for a phone upgrade, and the OnePlus 11R 5G kept popping up on my radar. Being a huge OnePlus fan, I decided to take the plunge. They promised a powerful phone at a reasonable price, but man, was I disappointed. Firstly, the battery life is just average. With a 5000mAh battery, I expected it to last all day on a charge, but I constantly found myself scrambling for a charger by mid-afternoon. This wouldn't be so bad, but the fast charging isn't that impressive either. It takes forever to get a decent charge back in.
Secondly, the phone lags sometimes, especially when switching between apps or playing games. This is frustrating because the OnePlus 11R is supposed to have a powerful processor. Maybe it's the software optimization, but it feels sluggish at times.
Overall, the OnePlus 11R 5G feels like a bit of a let down. Sure, the camera is decent and the display is nice, but the battery life and occasional lag really bring down the experience. For the price, I think there are better options out there.

Recently I updated my phone from Oneplus 12 to Oneplus 12R. Since I like to do phone photography, this phone turned out to be a total waste of money for me. The phone has two rear cameras: an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and 2-megapixel macro lens camera. The Ultra-wide camera is good in decent light or sunlight, although edges are often softer. The macro camera is not good at all.I also found that the OnePlus 12R camera can be occasionally sluggish, which makes it difficult to get razor sharp images of things or people that are moving.OnePlus has left the camera system largely untouched, which is one of the biggest downsides to the phone.
