THE MATRIX NUMBER IHAD TAKEN FOR MY TRIP TO USA IS NOT BEING ACCEPTED FOR UBER AND SUCH OTHER SERVICES. I AM TOLD THIS IS DUE TO US REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS.

IF SO WHY WASN'T I INFORMED ABOUT IT BEFORE HAND.

TOTALLY IN A MESS IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY DUE TO MATRIX

DISGUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED BY THEIR SERVICES.

NO LINK ON WEBSITE FOR REVIEWS OR FEEDBACK SO THAT OTHER CUSTOMERS CAN KNOW ABOUT SUCH PITFALLS

I DONT RECOMMEND THAT ANYBODY TAKE MATRIX CELLULAR SIM/PHONE NUMBERS FOR US TRIPS.

BETTER TO ARRANGE FOR A SIM IN USA ONLY.

I took a Matrix Pre Paid card on 30th April 2016 for travel in Europe from 5th to 15th May. Was in Denmark & Germany. God bless them. They have a very bad service. I could ring outside numbers but could not ring up the local sim carried by my wife. Nor could the local sim call my number though in both countries we were using a local sim for calling back to India.

The matrix people just kept sending messages: Valued(What a joke) Customer our technical team informs that your issue is now resolved. I kept sending them mails that the issue is not resolved but other than calling me up that we are sorting it out or that it will soon be sorted out or then sending me messages that the issue is resolved.

Matrix did nothing about it. If more people are willing we can join up and take them to Consumer court for deficiency in service.

I got their SIM with 10 day USA package worth$49.99

My trip was from 18th to 27th and 29th early morning 2am was the landing day back in Bengaluru. My trip itinerary was shared with their sales rep.

So, effectively I was on foreign land for exactly 10days.

However, in the bill they included 12 days and they charged($10.00+ surcharge+ tax) for 2 additional days on pro-rata basis. This pro-rata concept was not informed when it was purchased in airport and I needed only for 10days as I selected 10 day package.

Also SIM was not used for more than 10days. This is evident from their itemized bill. But they charged for 12days. This is shocking. When I escalated, Mr Shashak, nodal officer in Bengaluru mentioned that bill can not be reversed as its on pro-rata basis and the trip duration was mentioned as 18th to 29th while signing Customer Agreement Form. I did include the return day(29th in this case) but usage was only for 10days. Also I did not see anywhere in the form about the pro-rata concept. Moreover I did not get any email from them about the details of set up fee, package cost etc to confirm about the chosen package.

Also I got unnecessarily charged for many suspicious incoming local SMS.

From their itemized bill, it seems, the matrix SIM received incoming SMS as soon as I land in foreign land, almost 18 of them from same number at same minute.

However my phone handset never received any of these SMS in the itemized bill. This looks very suspicious since I did not share my matrix number with anyone and how can I get so many SMS at same minute as soon as I land. They charged around$5.5+ surcharge+ tax on all these and I was shocked again to see this unnecessary charge on many SMS which I never received at all!

Again nodal officer mentioned they can not reverse this as these are genuine SMS as per their automated billing platform.

Frankly I have never received these SMS and my handset never recorded any of these SMS.

It's shocking to see that escalation to appellate and operations head did not help and they never responded.

I am also having same experience with MatriX international SIM card.

Recently I was in Germany and Spain and requested  for SIM card and executive informed me about 29- 30 Euro plan with 10 minute every day India calling free and some MB Data but data never worked  but bill received for 30 GBP plan and and it is automatically deducted from my credit card  which itself shows un ethical . Really it is fraud company.

I am an international sales manager and plan for permanent international SIM card but now I understand why international tourist not prefer Matrix it is total fraud.

Interestingly there is no complaint forum on its website.

Now I am searching for complain forum like TRAI and District consumer forum to lodge formal complaint.

If somebody inform which is the correct forum to lodge a formal complaint for Matrix and process it seriously.

I have recently took Matrix sim card for my Australia trip. I chose a 30 AUD rental plan and specifically asked Matrix executive about  what would be the additional charges like processing fees, taxes etc. So this fool executive said 30 AUD is inclusive of all taxes and there would be no extra charges.

Now I have got my bill and it is around 45 AUD with Sur charges, set up fees and taxes. When I approached Manager at Mumbai they are showing no response. and since they ask for photocopy of credit card, bill amount has been automatically debited on my card.

So it is like they do frauds like this and keep themselves covered. But please note that I have all the call recordings with your executive and believe me I will take this issue to consumer court and make you pay for all your frauds.

Ridiculous Service. Shame on You.

I recently bought the prepaid sim for Malaysia in their Sale Online. It got delivered within the promised time of 3 days which was great. There was no option to choose the SIM size online and I wanted Nano sim, so I called customer service where I was told that I can use any sim size as they give the multiple sim size card, hearing the answer I was happy and placed the order. On receipt, I checked it was Micro SiM along with an adapter to change it to Mini Sim.

Additionally I had to send the KYC documents on email which I did on 2nd May. Till 4th May they are still saying they did not receive the documents, which is completely not possible.

Very unprofessional approach and Pathetic Customer Service.

They are yet to send me the Invoice for the product delivered even after reminding them over and over.

I recently had bought matrix sim card from a mall in malad.

And I had a very bad experience with this sim card.The network was poor, the quality of the voice was also poor the Internet was poor as well.When I called the customer service support then they didn't not responded properly.

I was feed up with its service and I disconnected with this service provider.So I would suggest not to use this sim at all as it is a waste of time as well as money so don't even think of buying this sim card.

I bought a Matrix prepaid sim card at Mumbai airport  that was "preactivated". This was for UK and the plan had "free incoming".which as it turned out later was that anytime someone tried to call me they would not be able to connect and I would get an SMS stating their number and saying I had a missed call from this number. I called up their customer support and was told that their was no network issue and they were unable to provide any help.

This is a clear fraud. I would strongly advise everyone to stay as far as possible from this mobile operator.

For my Thailand Trip, I got a Matrix SIM from Kolkata Airport. I was told there are 15 free minutes to India every day. However, when I got the bill I was charged 25 THB per minute.

When I spoke with their Customer Care, they told you have not dialed the number correctly;  They said there should be a code used for getting the free minutes to India. While buying SIM card I was not told by the Matrix people that I should dial the India number with a code. They are actually cheating the people with this technique. Please avoid Matrix, better take SIM from the Visiting Country.

I have changed to this network since 2 months

I honestly love the network coverage

None of the network was reachable in my office but luckily this network gets full range near my office

Good network coverage at reasonble price

Also the customer service is nice they verify and solve your problems quockly and efficiently

This is not good mobile operator for use to do any calls from the mobile, I am not like this operator.

Matrix mobile operator is not much good to use its also not carry for anywhere. In this operator has much problems its not catched proper network or range for using anything which is not good thing of this operator.

The call rates of this operator is too much high as compared to others mobiles operators, its charged much price for any services which is also not good thing of this operator. The customer care of this operator is also not good they are not supported to their customers relating to any problems overall it is worst operator.

Hi I taken a matrix SIM cards from one of executive his no. Is 09978000109 he given me best services and also inform me about every plan actually he help me to choos tariff also he came at my home to deliver SIM card .i m really happy with his services will all information .

I was taken Matrix number for Singapore and Indonesia.

The matrix official went by my home to offer the card and clarified me call points of interest. According to the official the local call charge will be 16 rs/min and worldwide call charge will be 25 rs/min.

In any case they produced the bill with call charge of rs. 100 for each min.

On inquisitive about the bill and call charges connected, they denied the rates clarified by their official and rather let us know that we were utilizing a wrong calling technique.

Any calling technique wasn't disclosed to us by their official at the season of offering.

I have to visit London without much planned ahead but did had option to continue my number site to international roaming charges. Some of my freind suggested me to try matrix as they provided sim card and number even before arriving in destination country. So I called up their customer care and found to be helpful. They explained me their plans and suggested me various options which I found to be helpful.

I decided before leaving a day earlier to call them and they were very quick and delivered sim to me at my home address the same day. I did not face any activation problem when I landed in uk and had good experiences with them. Thanks Matrix

I have taken Matrix sim of Rs99/- rental( though I insisted for prepaid sim) .No internet plan, Next day, they will send me change in Plan email. and if you do not accept or reject they taken it as accepted. Matrix is a Cheat company.

They are prohibitively expensive and above all do not disclose all the details about the charges. It is always better to buy a local SIM card in the country where you are travelling. It is very easy and simple.Their billing system is a complete fraud. Beware one and all, do not deal with this company.

I am from India and recently went to Singapore for a four day trip. I planned to take a local singtel prepaid connection on arrival at Singapore airport to cut down international roaming charges. However, at international departure terminal at Chennai airport, the Shruthisharmamen of matrix cellular convinced me to take TWO matrix post paid connections saying it is cheaper than taking a local SIM in Singapore and second SIM card is absolutely free. In a hurry, we took the connection. However, post return to India when we saw the telephone bill of matrix, we realised that is much costlier than local singapore SIM.

The drawbacks of matrix international cell phone connection is given below with reference to singapore:

1. Matrix charges a fixed rental SGD 1= Rs 37/- PER DAY. Singtel charges a one time sim card charges of SGD 10 with validity for 90 days. Singtel deducts SGD 0.60 per day for free incoming.

   
   




2. Matrix local call charges at Singapore= Rs 11/- . Singtel varies from Rs 3/- to Rs 6/- depending upon peak or unpeak hour usage.

   
   




3. Matrix ISD call rate from Singapore to India is Rs 33/- per min whereas Singtel call rate with 019 dialing is Rs 6/- or less.

   
   

In addtion Matrix charges are costlier as mentioned below:

1. They charge airport fee of Rs 150/- per sim if bought at airport

Recently metrix mobile used a 2 months. metrix is quite good isp and service fast and very good. I fully satisfied with bill and many more plans of metrix sim. specially in city it is very usefull. cheap call rates and top up as well as internet pack. reliable and needy. its a big brand and giveup Matrix Mobile operator. if you want to talk to customer care good response and your help fast and nice. metrix is the one of the most popular Mobile Network service providers. thank you Matrix for good service for me

Matrix is a Cheat company. They are prohibitively expensive and above all do not disclose all the details about the charges. Stealthily they charge additional surcharge and show bogus calls and sms on record. Their billing system is a complete fraud.

Beware one and all, do not deal with this company. It is always better to buy a local SIM card in the country where you are travelling. It is very easy and simple. And above all you are not paying obnoxious charges to this cheat company.

Never in my life have seen such a fraud company.

Matrix is a complete fraud and you will definately regret if you take this SIM. It can be one of the biggest frauds of your life so BEWARE.

I had purchased a Matrix SIM card for my US trip and they provided me with a Micro SIM instead of a Nano SIM even after confirming it with them several times. After reaching the destination, to my surprise it was a Micro SIM card. I have been following up with the customer care service since then, and have not received any communication from them whatsoever. Wasted all my time, money and efforts as there has been no response from anyone from Matrix till date, it has been over 3 months now.

Issues

1- Default plan to be activate and as per my copy was 50MB data plan cost o SGD 12 But thye charged me for 100MB plan i.e SGD 26+ SGD3 - SGD 29

Beware consumers and save your self

Now after 2 months, their executive called me asking for payment. I asked them to tell me a reasonable amount that I can pay and settle the bill. They keep saying the invoice is correct and I have to pay full amount. Not sure where to go ahead from here. But, at least I can post it around internet and save others by opting for alternatives.

PS: Just noticed that all the positive reviews in this forum are labelled Fake:) should have been wary of this company earlier. Will welcome ideas on which are other good international sim cards primarily for data and incoming.

Never in my life have seen such a fraud company. I have been taking connections from them each time I visit Singapore. I ask them for the same plan on my visits. So the third time I took the sim from them, and they told me that it the same plan as before. As usual the network was good and my Internet connection was working.

Suddenly after 4days they disconnected my line without a single notification. I contacted them from Singapore to know what was the issue but there were no reply to the emails. So when I called them once I reached back India, they told me that they does not know the details. After around 2months I got a bill where they charged Rs. 18000/- and that Rs. 14000/- was for Data Usage when I already had the data plan activated as usual as the other trips.

I kept on Calling these people and even mailing them as I needed a clarification for this. And it was only around 5months a lady called me and  she was like so rude to me over the phone and demanding the money. When I asked them why they have charged me about the datas when I had the data activated, they told that they never had answers for the same and that the previous executive has already left and it is not possible for them to answer.

These people find opportunities to ROB people. I don't understand how a so called corporate can run business like this!

So basically people who are taking connections from them and giving there credit details to these people(advertise with very cheap plans) be aware of these frauds!
