It is a miracle that Matrix cellular has over 1.8 stars rating, it should be at max 1 in my humble opinion.

I request people not to use the Matrix sim. They claim 1000 minutes talk time but 1 second is considered as 1 minute. Very poor voice quality and very poor network. This is a fraud company. Please don't buy

I buy matrix Sim for bali at a cost of 1300 at IGI Airport. At the airport, their representative himself put the sim in our phone but after reaching bali there sim doesn't work. They customer care tell us there sim not work with samsung handset. When asking for refund they said it is your fault. But when it does not work why your representative put your sim in our phone. They are the fraud they fool people.

Don't buy their Sim it is a fraud company

This company is a big fraud and full of liars & cheaters in higher management.

I had taken a pre paid sim for UK and paid hefty charges upfront. But the sim didn't get activated when reached UK, had to face too many issues. This is when the senior manager of Matrix Saraswat has promised it will work. While no immediate support or till next 12 hours.

Later when I asked them for refund as the sim wasn't working this smart Senior Manager has refused it.

Do not ever take this company services.

In 2018 June had travelled to Europe using Matrix card. The plan data charge mentioned Euro 25 per GB while when the bill came, it mentioned GBP 25 per GB. Last July, GBP was about 17% more expensive than Euro & so was charged approx 17% extra ie extra Rs 475. Well the amount cheated wasnt high but What was most shocking was the response. They never apologised. In fact A sr CRM person had the gumption to write that the situation was equatable to a restaurant showing two different rates for the same cup of coffee in the menu owing to an error and the restaurant charging you the lower amount of the two printed on the menu.

If a rate is stated in 2 currencies, the rate would cater for currency value difference.

WATCH OUT BILLS WHEN USING MATRIX. CHEATING CUSTOMERS

Hi, I recently used their prepaid sim card for Malaysia for a leisure trip and honestly I was impressed with their service, I got it from T3 Delhi airport from Matrix Desk though I was quite skeptical with the negative reviews I read online(this being one of them).

While I had international roaming on my home carrier I still bought Matrix Prepaid Sim card, and it worked out pretty decently for me. wasn't charged extra for anything. I would suggest it basis my first experience.

I purchased Matrix 4G SIM at T3 Delhi airportfrom Matrix Desk after paying more than 5000 rupees for 28 days unlimited data and unlimited calls. The Matrix person present assured me that it will work. IHe put the SIM in my S8 Samsung mobile. I purchased SIM on 2nd May night. After reached New Jersey. I tried many time with switching on and off, and also by reinserting the chip. But it didn't not work. It is prepaid. Be aware this Mayrix is Bogus company.

Its USELESS! Please don’t waste your money on this. Its a SCAM! I couldnt make a single call with this. Numbers don’t get connected or it says “it doesn’t exist”. I swear! It just doesn’t connect. Save your pockets guys and rather go for another postpaid plan. Have never regretted anything more than this.

MOST HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM MATRIX. ELDERLY COUPLE GOT STRANDED IN A FOREIGN LAND AND THEIR TECHNICAL TEAM IS THE WORST ON PLANET EARTH BUNCH OF JOKERS SITTING THERE WHO CANT EVEN SPEAK PROPERLY AND NEVER RESOLVED THE ISSUE. WE HAD A VERY TOUGH TIME AND THEY HAVE NOT EVEN REFUNDED THE MONEY. PLZ PLZ PLZ STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE THE BIGGEST CHEATS.

GAVE THEM MORE THAN 24 HOURS BUT IN VAIN AS THEY ARE INCOMPETANT FROM THE HIGHEST LEVEL IN THE ORGANIZATION TO THE VERY BOTTOM.

Recently I bought Matrix prepaid sim from Mumbai airport for my short Europe trip. It didn't work in one country and even in the other Internet speed was pathetic. Their customer service is extremely bad. Better option for buying a sim is at the destination airport, where you will get a cheaper and better sim. However , do check about availability at destination airport before you travel.

Never trust Matrix. After the completion of your foreign journey you may be handed over thousands of rupees bill even if you go with a proper plan. I travelled to Bali with Matrix Sim. I have been charged 15k for a 999 plan. I did not go beyond usage limit.

I recently purchased and used matrix sim in u.s.I am happy to say that the sim made me feel as though I am in my home country calling up India whenever I feel along with whatsapp, local u.s calls, browsing and mailing.It connected seamlessly at the u.s airport and gave exvellent service from then on.I personally thank Mr.Gautham of koramangala branch for his prompt services. For those in doubt.pls do the following before purchasing

Check wheather your mobile set works in the frequency range of that country

You may have to use a different cellphone itself.

Clarify all your technical specs with the company.

Follow the connectivity procedure instructed by them in case it does not connect.

I have a Matrix SIM card for the US and would certainly not reccommend one.

Number of issues are countless.

Recharges don't go through and you are left contacting customer care that at first is unreachable, and when they are reachable, they take forever to resolve the complaint.

Internet randomly stops working. They claim that the issue is with the device, but even after remedies that they offer, nothing happens. I have literally paid for entire months where data did not work.

Please do not resort to matrix SIM cards. Either choose other carriers or buy a SIM locally in the US

I bought a matrix SIM in KIAL airport for Hong Kong. They told that it is pre-activated and will work seamlessly(100min free to India etc.)

Once reached HK, it did not work and I was stuck with no way to contact anyone.

As per their customer service, if it  does not work, they expect us to call their customer service from an international destination and request them to resolve any issue:(

Absolutely crap customer service!

I have lost more than Rs 5000/- to Matrix in last 2 years. In 2016 I took sim cards for USA and Canada. Both of them did not work. I lost the money because the amount was directly deducted from my credit card account.

I tried to call the support team of Matrix in India, but they could not help me and I spent another 400 Rs. for calling to their support team from USA and Canada to India on US and Canada telecom. I contacted their agent Ankita Valan from Canada on whats up. She agreed that I am really suffering and confirmed that she would get my money back from the company. On my return to India I gave her all the details of my attempt to contact the support team and my whatsup messages to her. She did try to get my money back but could not succeed due to arrogant replies from the company.

In 2017, I went to Egypt and Dubai with matrix sim cards with the assurance from Ankita that this time I will not have any problem and even she would try to adjust my already lost money of 2016. But this time also the sim cards failed and I was left high and dry. This time also the reply from the company was as if it was my mistake that I selected matrix for this service. I may add that the all agents/ representatives of the company who came in contact with me in these 2 years have left the company.

I may tell you that in 2011 when I went to Europe, the matrix cards worked very well.

Have their services gone down with time.

Dear friends, be careful while dealing with matrix.

We went to USA with my family and friends in June 2017 for 21 days and bought 6 matrix sim cards as it offered unlimited calling within USA and to INDIA with 5GB 4G data.First 7 days in California service was ok but after we left California 95% of the time we were unable to call each other and only data was working. We complained several times to the matrix people in INDIA but they always said that they are working on it, later they stopped answering our calls, so we were left with no choice other than buying new local connection .

I strongly advice not to buy matrix connection.

I recently procured a Matrix SIM card when I travelled to the United States of America for local use. Over a series of email exchanges, I was told that I would be charged a total of$10 which would entitle me to 200 minutes of local calls.

I returned to India after about 5 weeks having used maybe about 15 minutes of local calls and 1 call to india. I should therefor have been charged$ 10+ the international call. But to my shock I found they charged me the$10 and an additional$30 claiming I had used data besides voice while in the US.

I explained to them that I had taken my smart phone with me and was using WIFI wherever available for data. I also told them that given the kind of instrument they had given me with the SIM it would be silly to access any webpage on it.

Inspite of repeated entreaties, the rude so-called customer support people insisted that I had used data and refused to reverse the charge.

My sincere advise to all is NEVER USE MATRIX. THEY MAKE FALSE BILLS AND FLEECE YOU.

I was traveling to Philippines in the month of sept& I took Philippines SIM card from scam company matrix When I bought this they told me I will get 5GB OF DATA& 200mints of indian calling free.My internet didn't work at all I was on holidays I wrote E-mail while I was wifi in my hotel made call to customer service& mentioned issue becouse iwas getting network but not INTERNET they were not able to fix the issue and because of this my whole travel planed was not smooth& when I was talking to their customer service they told me I will not charged anything as my Internet didn't work.

So when I reached delhi they sent me bill of saying I made 6 calls and for that you have to pay 12k which I was told free st the time of taking connection 200mints was free. I spoke to their customer service they r saying they can give me discount of1700₹ and I have to pay remaining.

They gave me their senior email it's useless I wrote email to them no reply now receiving calls from their collection guys threatening me to pay the bill.

It's better use your own ph no while roaming that will be cheaper then taking matrix SIM card and with matrix you can rely and you can't expect any professionalism .stay away from buying MATRIX SIM CARD because ot will not work during your travel& once you back you will be more frustrated with their calls and unexpected billing.

Took a matrix sim card on a colleague’s recommendation. Used it in London. Full marks on their network services. Not even a single issue with making calls locally or back home in Delhi. Flawless. Plus their plans for London are really awesome. Just by paying close to 3500 Rs I got unlimited calls to India. Had I used my Airtel number, I would have paid thrice the amount!
