I am using toshiba laptop since last 3 years and I have a problem with battery back up

When my lapltop was new it was running 1-2 hour and now it can not run without power adapter.

Even though I am satisfied but not happy because of my laptop battery.

Since I bought a new laptop I had a problem with RAM so I replaced it with new DDR3 RAM.

Best one I had ever use before , batterie goes die after 5 year

This is my 1st laptop I purchased like 4 years back and it has been my companion since then. The second generation processor is still good to play mid graphics games on and even do multitasking in 2017! . Its has a full sized keyboard which is a handy option for person like me who uses internet most of the time .

The down side of the laptop is the battery which does not last for long and the speaks are way to low .

The L750 X531B is the laptop is the laptop my brother uses.He is into gaming and has been using it to run some heavy games, and has been doing so for 3 years. There has been some hiccups along the way but it is still up and running smooth.

The basic specs include intel i5 with 6gb ddr3 ram and nvidia ge force graphics with dedicated 2gb ram. The screen is 15.6 inches 1366*768. It has a dvd writer,  3 usb port of which 1 is usb3.0, e sata, HDMI, lan port and the like, Also WiFi Bluetooth and card reader. Basic connectivity options are all available. It comes with windows 7.

Th overall built quality is quite ok but the, but could feel a bit flimsy especially the outer casing and also along the hinges. The original keyboard was good but had trouble within an year and had to be replaced. The replacement was of poor quality and had to replaced again.

That said the most of parts of the lap has been replaced along the three years of use, including the hard disk thrice the keyboard twice and the mother board once. But the service provided was quite ok, it is serviced by nortech, a authorized third party in kerala and due to the frequent complaints we have the luck to visit the offices at trivandrum kochi and calicut and were good.

But that amount of repair is too much for a lap that cost 50k when bought, although currently available for much less. That said the lap works fine when having no such problems, also extended warranty for additional 2 years is available over the one year for about 4k and sometimes is offered for free during festive seasons.

But here too there is a problem, the 3 years of warranty expired about couple of months back and when I contacted the dealer about the possibility to extend the warranty futher. he informed the possibility of toshiba stopping selling of entertainment and personal laps altogether and shifting to commercial fully.

This is mainly because the patronage of Toshiba has reduced drastically in recent years, basically because the problems I faced with lap is not an isolated incident and most toshiba laps have major repairs even within the first year. And toshiba is running into losses and so the amount of service and support is going to reduce and also availability of spares will dry down.

Added to all these same spec dell and lenovo laps offer better deals and offer durability, atleast according to my limited knowledge. In short if you are planing on buying a Toshiba lap think again.
