Iam Suhail EA. Iam going to review HP pavilion DV9000 . I bought this laptop from gadgets shop at kodungallur. The exact date of purchasing is on 3rd january 2020. My friend suggested me the HP brand laptop. So I purchased HP pavilion DV9000. It's designing and covering is too good. It attracts the customers. I really like the stylish designing of this laptop. It's very useful to see movies and play high quality video games . for 2 months it worked properly without any complaints. After 2 months it's battery become week. I can't use it even for half and hour. Also it's back side highly heating. So that I can't use this laptop to outdoors. I always use it on charging. It's keyboard switches are also damaged. The' s 'and 'enter ' button get separated from laptop. So after 5 months I contacted the customer care service centre and informed about this compliants . they said to sent mechanic to check the laptop. But even after 2 months , no one come for repairing. Never buy this laptop. I didn't recommend anyone to buy this laptop. Thank you.

Hello friends, this is Rifat Khan here to share a critical problem included experience about a Laptop named HP Pavillion DV9000.

My friends, first of all I would like to say about its demerits. Those are-

1.Heating problem.

2.Hard-Disk problem.

3.Speed problem.

4.Adjusting problem.

5.Charging problem.

6.Battery problem.

It is not friendly to use at all. I get it mostly slow and low server speed. Its style is also not impressable.Its touch pad is at almost corner which is a source of diaturbance.

I would like to recommend you my friends not to buy it for works by any means.

Hey friends today im going to give my review about the HP DV9000 and one of my friend also had some problems using it so dont go for this laptop and choose another one or higher end model of hp laptops.

The laptop is bulky and overwieghted but thats ok with the price, what desappointed me is this lapy gets heated very quickly and it goes over the normal heat sometimes so its the most negiyive point of this lappy.

Battery backup was decent but not that good.

If you want it for programming of any loght stuff then you can go for it otherwise I will not recommend this laptop to anyone.

Hp laptop is best for me before I use it personaly but after use hp laptop I would refer u to go with dell or lenovo ihave use hp laptop for three years not satisfied with it after buying hp my laptop is it almost dead three times in a year of warrenty I request hp to replace it but that not happan but hp service is good enought in three time it repaire in three time its mother is replace and after one year one time more replace but I refer u if you use it for only and only office work not for gaming and heAvy tasks.three stars only for sevicing.

I like computing. I'm very fascinated about laptops and personal computers. Hp ua a big name in this field. Pavillion series is pretty famous. In this app series they gave many and different kinds of laptops. I use two or three of them and trust me both are crazy slow and useless. The whole Pavillion series including dv9000 is useless. The laptop keyword lush switches easily amd display waving angles are very very poor. May be hp did not know how to make good budget laptop. Don't buy Pavillion dv9000.

This laptop has not good processing speed because of its slow clock speed.

It is good in price because people can buy it easily.

It do not have sufficient memory space as per standard laptop capacity.

Screen resolution is not well and display size is sufficient.

It has heating problem and battery backup is not good. So friends I will recommend that overall it is not good for buy.

Hp is high selling laptop of our country.

It is not a good product because of its heating problem. It heats very rapidly, processor is little bit slow, but not so bad, sound quality is not so good, processor is little bit slow.Vlc player is not workab le many of time .

Hp was one the best laptops manufacture in the indian market. So I thought I should buy the laptop from the hp company. Firstly its was good looking so I thought I purchased it. After few days it started giving heating problems. It was so hot that I cannot put the laptop on my legs for tying or gaming. After showing the service center of hp they said it is becuase of the motherboard. So they said they have to repair the motherboard. After few days when I came back to pick up they cant find my laptop. Again next day when I start the laptop again heat issue was their it was not fixed

I have an Nvidia 8600 defective card, as many people do in their dv9000 series laptop. Updating the BIOS and the driver won't work. Buying a cooler, and cleaning it out won't work either. If your card is beyond an small fix(completely dead), you will need to have the motherboard completely reinstalled. After you get it installed you will need to add a thermal compound/shimmy to buffer the overheating from happening a 2nd time. There are videos all over youtube on how to do this.  If your laptop isn't totally dead yet, just over-heating, use the youtube trick+ the cooler and clean it out with compressed air.

If you get a case manager to work with you on it, he/she can give you a discounted price for a new motherboard and labor - around 300 bucks. Understandably, HP can't service everyone, because the truth is, more and more people are coming forth with different chipsets complaining that they are defective as well from Nvidia. This is a Nvidia issue.

Wat do I say about hp pavillion dv9000 its just the waste of money I m using this from 2012 in starting it was quite grt but afterwards it has shown its real colours it hangs alot in according with its price it is just not gud service is also not that grt u can say its ok ok I would advice u to nt take this lappy at all go for dell or sone other brands

I purchased hp DV9000 in 50, 000 rupees which comes with windows vista home basic.

Before purchasing you can figure out that this laptop have very good specs but after using it.

You can come to know that it is really bad product.design is ok, 50k laptop have small screen and no side keys.

Volume up down, play pause button comes in touch way which dont work properly after few months.durability is very bad.this laptop will keep irritating you by its bad quality.however service and support is nice from hp.apart from that this heavy weight laptop is totally waste of money.

Hello friends .i baught this laptop some time ago.then after some times it starts arises probem .I called HP support service in order to manage exchange of my laptop hard drive that is not working. It took several days to finally get someone alive on the phone number 1-800-474-6836.

Then it took 45 minutes to explain and get to the conclusion and directions how to get my hard drive repaired/exchanged. The worst possible customer support I've ever had. I hate HP now!

It is not a frustrating statement as it sounds. I was not in mood of buying HP Pavillion because I went through many bad reviews. But when I went to shop I found it as a best deal and lucrative offer. But I never noticed that time I am gonna be in a death trap.

On very first day came a bad experience - my laptop gave a electric jolt to my partner once I put it on power.

There after I tried to avoid its body touch, but luckly it was a rare incidence. And here comes a surprize, it was 10th month of purchase and its speakers slowly stopped producing sound. I still thought its not a big deal as I have external speakers.

Another one, its touch panel keys started behaving like rebooting button, very noce - so now do not use those keys also. I never could use many of touch keys because these never worked right from start, but again being not so big issue I tried to avoid customer care centers of HP because their reviews were horrible. But the last shock - it stopped booting just in  13 month of life time. :( now it is really sad.

I used this Laptop like a desktop because it had a 17 Inch screen, so big to carry. So you can imaging its condition in 1 year - its almost NEW. but a complete junk from inside.

And here comes the best part - I went to HP care center - and as expected and clear from reviews - they frankly told to replace Motherboard - as if there is only 1 prob in their laptops that is - MOTHER BOARDS ARE JUNK.
