Its have so many problem while starting window, when you start window and its take a time , and most important qurey is its takes a lot of updates watse of data uses .

Its quality is not so good as HP laptop has .

And the value of this product is higher than its orginal cost , also have watse of money for updates its windows , its recommend a lot of updates in a day , its take a huges cost of Data .

And its service is not so well , techinicans kept its in thier service center for a long time, a lot of passes threw for services center and also take a indirect cost .

Hey frnds this laptop its a good not a very bad but almost not good working for anytime bcoz there functions its so bad nd not tough to high defination.

Not matter to high defination now but the its not useful for any media, nd u r devices why r u wastes u r money in this lappy.

one year back iam purchased these laptop of hp pavilion dv6000 in starting daysthrse laptop is very good to use it will give the goof experiance to me and good battery backup to me

ut will gives the xharging two or three hours but it will be very good to give the informatikn very fastly to me so it wil be very perfect lap

after some days complted some days it will be give information very slowly to give in starting it work very fast

Friends if you want a laptop which give a long life and long term use the it is good for you. Because you can use it for many years without any issue. But now we have windows 10 technologies and very hi tech processor which make your laptop experience very smooth. I don't say that this is bad and do not buy this but I must say It is too old. You can buy it but when you feel this is too old and you can not do many work as you can do in todays model laptop. Then you feel disappointed. So my friends buy a latest one. I was using this laptop since 2 years. After buying this laptop starting its performance ia really good but after some days it was getting some problem like speaker damage and slow performance then every think is fine. When compare to other laptops this is old model. Now a days the futhers are increasing a lot. Take good and more futhers lap

It is very slim to take one place to anather place during work and light weight. It is super batery back up to work with out charger point.it is good quality and low mantainance.it display is amazing and Full HD.it service center is all over the world.

One of the things that sold me on this laptop was the screen. The screen is gorgeous. It is wonderfully bright and clear, and provides a respectable 1280800 resolution in a widescreen format. Yes, there certainly are notebooks with higher resolution. It really comes down to preference. While other units may give you higher resolution, some may find it hard to read on small screens, For me, I thought 1280800 was a good resolution to use for a 15.4" screen. My only complaint with the screen is that the glare is really bad when trying to use the unit outside. It gets so bad that it's more like looking in a mirror than into a computer screen. Inside, however, the screen is beautiful.

We like the HP Pavilion DV6000's attractive design and multimedia feature, but don't expect this core 2 due laptop to beak any speed records. Aside from its good looks it also provides a solid set of entertainment features and high end components for a fair price.

The good slick lightweight design, decent processor performance, built in webcam, two head phone jacks.

The bad mediocre battery life, the battery life is below average. optional glossy display can be reflective

The bottom line is we like the HP Pavilion DV6000 attractive design and multimedia features.

For above reason I will recommend the HP Pavilion DV6000 for home users who want the laptop for basic entertainment features and who don't want to spend lot of time away from power outlet.

I hope this review helps those who like gaming but can't affords an Alienware/MSI/Predator .Isee most of the users commenting here may not be a gamer and some guy tried running GTA v and said it is crap.

period of use -4+ year

in gaming since u r moving all the time, i don't thing there's any need for high quality shadows and reflections as u hardly notice them when you are on the run.

for those who have played game using an integrated graphics, u will be amazed with the picture quality as nvidia is a Titan in graphics .

Hp pavilion dv6000 is not a good laptop because in the laptop feature not good only 512 mb RAM DDR2SDRAM only 60 GB of ROM in this laptop and processsor intel 940GML this laptop is not for gaming And the company HP not a good service for laptop looking wise laptop is looking nice and quality wise not a good laptop in this price and the this laptop bad feature RAM and ROM are very low And the Hp company was not providing value for money laptops.

It is a very beautiful laptop, it is a high speed laptop, it has core 2 du proceser, it has 512 Mb ram and max spported memory 2 gb, it has very fast laptop, I am using the 4 month, it is very small price laptop, but battrey timeing is very slow it is very beautiful laptop, it has 60 gb hard disk capactiy, I am using the laptop in fast internet speed it is good laptop, it has a all windows installed for exmple, windows xp windows 7, windows 8.1, it is very small laptop, I am so happy with using laptop, it is very fast hp board.it is very small and beautiful laptop.

Hey, I purchased this laptop about 3 months back. In startingit works fine but slowly slowly the condition gets worsen and now even in starting window it took around 10 min.Even after starting the window it gets hang for around 5 min. Too many background apps already opens after starting window. The service is not good and I'm completely disappointed with this laptop. Please don't purchase it.

Hello guys I am using this laptop from 2 month and I have faced many problems .

When I use the laptop its starts getting heat which is really bad and hangs a lot I cant play a big game on it its graphics are not so good cant handle a big game well and now whwn I try to open the laptop after using for some time one massege came which is blue screen error and the laptop shutdown.

Its looks good but doesnt work like it looks so guys if any one want to buy this laptop then think twice before buying this is my own experiance on this laptop guys

If you are a student and you need a laptop for your work which requires nice graphics then don't indulge with this product.I did not find anything that could make this device apart special from rest of the laptops. In case of being worst I think you can find alot of better laptops than thing. I bought it 2 years ago. It's speakers stopped working after 3 month when it was under warranty period . When I got it repaired I realised it's keyboard is not working . I got completely frustrated with this product and According to me it's a complete waste of money.Dont buy this product

HP Pavilion dv6000 comes with Windows Vista and Intel Core2 duo. It is one of the stylish, easy to use, laptops by HP in 2006. The quality HP provided during that time on the bases of money was satisfactory but not the best. It claims to be an entertainment PC(with a small remote that can be used for forwarding or stopping videos) but let me tell you, it isn't that good. The laptop works comfortably if used for 2 hours and then use it after a break of minimum one hour. If used in this manner, it is durable but otherwise not.

First because it heats very fast. Owing to this reason, if I want to use this laptop, I often prefer a pillow under it. I have also noticed that the laptop hangs in between if I keep switching programs when video or music is being played. I was happy with it in the beginning but may be after 8 to 10 months, I had to decrease my speed of working with it. Within a year or two(I don't remember exactly) the webcam was found to be not working. Then for using skype and other video conferencing, I had to purchase a separate webcam. The sound quality is also not up to the mark. It has to have an external speaker attached to enjoy the music.

The worst are the processor and the battery. In these years, I have changed the battery thrice and a year in between, I had to use it like a computer(continuously charging). If you are the one who may have to use it while travelling or most of the times without a power slot, please don't go for this product as the battery drains very fast( as fast as 1 and a half hour). The processor is very slow. I have to run the antivirus and clean the computer every week to ensure that it works to my satisfaction for few days.

Its surely not a value for money as far as todays' range of products are considered. It is also heavier than most other laptops and is not handy. Please check the reviews of other laptops before purchasing but frankly, just strike off this one from your list. HP provides good prompt service but charges high. The parts are also costly.
