It work good in one day that network will be on top , the recharge plans are good as comparision of othè network , I will use this of last 4 year I think it is good , some network issues facedon ruler area

We have opted for a new connection on December 3rd 2020 and is as follows

Visited the nearest BSNL office(Chandra Layout Bengaluru) and they gave me the contact number of the vendor for my area

note:BSNL FTTH is managed by 3rd party vendor which means all the services like payments, troubleshooting etc. are done by them .

Day 0: contacted the vendor and they came home to collect details, identity documents and etc

Day1(2 days after day 0): They came home and did all the wiring work and installed the modem(since ours is 200mbps plan we opted for dual band) and by evening the Internet was working, however landline took another 24 hrs to activate.

Day2: All the services have been activated including landline(voice)

Payment Details:

Genexis Modem(Dual band):₹3000

Cabling Charges: ₹0

Installation charges:₹500

Deposit(same as plan amount):₹999

Plan amount:₹999

Vendor only accepts Cheque and Bank transfer and not cash.

Connection experience from the past 7-8 months:

Download speed goes upto 220-240mbps download and 80-103mbps upload.

ping varies from 11-50ms, most of the time it is around 20ms however I have never tried gaming.

However some websites(very less) load slowly or doesn't load so in that case you can change DNS(change DNS on the device you are using like laptop and mobile) to Google or Cloudfare DNS.

Now coming to the issue/troubleshooting part:

Sometimes(very rarely) the connection gets disconnected due to physical cut in the cable line(tree fall or miscreants cutting them) in that case you can give complain on BSNL website or contact the vendor, I prefer contacting the vendor as its faster .

Overall Review: Its Good and rarely face issue and also FUP is good, some problems might occur which can be resolved easily.However the cabling is not good as the copper connectionof BSNL as the cables run over the trees, electric poles etc which looks shabby and chances of getting cut are there.

Note:Vendor in my case is good which may not be the case elsewhere

During this pandemic, where a good internet connection is crucial for our day to day work, I am really struggling with this BSNL FTTP connection that I have opted. It is very reliable as it can get disconnected any with a PON error and the red light blinking. Raising a complaint will say it will be resolved in 24 hours every time which doesn’t help meet our urgent requirements. We have been provided with a couple of contacts of the customer services representative in my area. 95% percent of the time their numbers are not reachable, engaged or they do not pick up the call and don’t call back either. Sometimes when we are explaining our frustration and the inconvenience the internet disruption is causing to us, they even have the audacity to cut the abruptly. BSNL has always been my preferred service provider, but now I am rethinking if I need to change it.

It's very honest review... I have recently got Ftth connection for my WFH purpose... I have checked with other operators before purchasing BSNL none of ISP's not support since there are no feasibility near my home...

After I approached BSNL customer care and their office, Really unbelievable, they respond immediately and I got ONT modem within 7 days and whole installation completed as well....

I got 499 plan 60 Mbps speed with 3.3TB data volume costing for whole process took rs.3500 .. really amazing speed in all time.. there are no downtime faced till now... The BSNL customer care and staffs are really support well...

I seen many reviews are bad about BSNL ... I also working in telecommunication field , I got many negative feedback but in reality BSNL is very good for all levels of people...

I recommended my friends also recommend to all ... Let's enjoy the uninterrupted service

The main thing is I have same bsnl ftth router plan and it promises to give 10 mb/s but it gives me 400 kb/s and main problem is it always disconnects and needs sign in to this network too much problems but if we call for soln the company refuses to give a solution why it is still popular I think this should be banned as it is making false promises and low productivity I am fed up and now switch to trustworthy and good internet company, Dont waste money stay safe

Probably the worst when it comes to service and if you're into gaming.(very high packet loss and your complaints fall into deaf ears)

BSNL is already out of employees to look after faults apparently and it's too hectic for remaining team to manage things(Source - my dad retired from BSNL last year). It's highly likely that it's gonna shut down in few years anyway.

Also it doesn't give anything to employees who gave years of service(no major discounts on FTTH, also just so everyone knows, no 7th pay commission yet XD).

Anyway, if you're a gamer or don't want to keep calling the ISP every few days(frequent "no internet" situations) don't go for it, in my case I have no other choice so I'm stuck with it

Installed BSNL aur fibre wi fi with6000/- security and form filled at home by personnel with promise to refund security on disconnection. Worst services I have ever seen.connection lost after every 7-8 hours and no one to attend even if you spend your total time on calling and messaging them in hope one day they will attend us. Whole online classes of child missed due to their worst service. My advise is never go for it.

Most of the time they will never attend your calls. If they do, they always so keen on closing the call . I paid 1100rs/ month . I get 3-6 mbps speed always with insane data loss. Its so frustrating for both work and games.

No official listen the complain, they neither pick up the call, nor they meet in the office.pathetic staff.

I paid my bill of Bharat fiber on this January 2021 but did not get the payment receipt. I contacted BSNL but they said we have no way to provide a payment receipt. I am shocked that such a big company doesn't manage its customer's data securely. I needed the receipt for tax purposes but I don't see a way to get it now. I am their premium customer with their highest monthly plan but the speed I get is pathetic. Shame on you BSNL. I will not recommend it to anyone.

The BSNL FTTH has been the worst experience. Spent 4500..did not get the connection for over three weeks... worked for two days and stopped. Worst part was that even the telephone line is dependent on the fibre and whenever the fibre goes down, the phone also goes down...No service...some body calls and forgets...

BSNL as any other public sector organization is currently in this pathetic state due to its lethargic employees and use of primitive technologies. I was using BSNL for around 8 years, 2009 to 2017. internet speed both upload/download was pathetic(sometimes around 4Mbps) and I always felt mobile data was far better. If we raise a complaint for speed related issue, the technician would come home, replace old wires with new, change the switch boxes, assures everything would work fine, collects a tip for 50rs and then flees away. INternet speed remains same. There are no technically qualified professionals to identify the issue and provide resolution in BSNL. Even after multiple visits by the technicians the speed was still low. Then private competitors ventured into the BB business and I decided to move to Airtel BB. After switching to Airtel I was fully satisfied and had very minimal issues in service/speed/payment etc. I would rate Airtel 100 times better than crappy BeeAssNL

The internet fluctuates heavily and goes down to 0kbps. Running meetings and online classes get dropped. I took it as Jio fiber service was not there in my area in Kurukshetra(Haryana).

I paid 3000 for ONT device, 500 installation charge, 500 security. Internet speed and data quantity seems good but it is only good to download movies in the night.

It is totally unreliable . Mobile data is far much better than this. Even after paying so much amount nothing works.

My relative in BSNL told that nothing will happen, I myself have to be knowledgeable enough of networking to troubleshoot problem, and then request and approach in BSNL, if they can do something based on my findings. He clearly said that BSNL is understaffed and no knowable person exist in BSNL.

I have raised one complaint which is not worked since months. Only one request can be raised. Have posted to BSNL handle on twitter. Nothing works.

This is one of most regretful decision of relying again on BSNL. I strongly favor privatization of public entities who at least take care of end users.

Don't ever think about BSNL, service and response of lineman and technician are pathetic, they have given the service to the third party vendor(Daksh Enterprises, Bangalore), attitude of the technician is worst, he don't know how to talk to the customer, they will provide a cheap single band(2.4GHZ) router named DBC technologies, my humble request to all please don't waste your money, BSNL wont learn from their previous mistakes, and they wont learn in future also.

Disgraceful most unreliable service and there is nowhere one can complain because there is no accountability! Wasted so much money for third rate service!
