Bsnl fibrenet is fast and reliable but is it affordable?


Why is it so expensive when routers,


Multiport switches with more than 100 ports for


equivalent number of subscribers are available now at


Much less price than before,


thus reducing cost per subscriber. Not entire fibrenet


needs to be Optic cable because normal cat 6 cable


supports 1gbps and with cat 6a it is whopping 10gbps.


With BSNL cable posts everywhere, cable


faults will be minimal. Yet bsnl, India's top most telecom


service provider, charges high for fibrenet, thus enabling select few to succeed in online


bookings with high contention like admission to


summer training camp or Sabari mala peak season


Train bookings or amarnath / tirumala Tirupati darshan bookings. Bsnl and Chennai telephones Fibrenet pricing abandoned masses.


Bsnl Broadband no Internet Connection

I have a BSNL broadband connection, My Land Number is But it has not been going on for the past twelve days.I called the customer care and they said they will fix it in three warking days, after three days it has been seven days but they didn't fix it, but the complaint they took from me was from the company they belonged to and they resolved the complaint by themselves.My internet connection is not available for 12 days they say they will fix it in three days and it is not fixed in three days automatically our complaint is getting resolved but my internet connection is not coming again they are saying that they are taking complaint from me again or is it ok again? Will do it within three days, tell me whether it can be believed.Private like Jio Fiber and Airtel Xtreme are charging the same amount but they are providing better service than BSNL but BSNL is such a bad service from Govt I mean I could never imagine.

We installed BSNL FTTH an year ago and initially the internet speed was good but later it turned out to be one of the worst cable service ever.Suddenly we could see the red light blinking in our broadband even if we call them and ask for a fix no one response properly to our query. It’s been 2 days the connection got interrupted but no response from their end. It’s really hard for IT people to work under this situation.


Kindly please don’t repeat it and sort this issue out ASAP.

I have been using Bsnl fiber for the last 4 years. The plan is of 60 Mbps speed, it is going very well.


There is no problem till date, the problem is solved immediately.

Despite repeated attempts, I have not received any satisfactory response or assistance regarding this matter.Due to the lack of support and information, I have been forced to make the decision to surrender my BSNL fiber connection.I request that you improve your customer support services to ensure that other customers do not face similar challenges in the future.

Hi all I am using bsnl fiber more than 6 month .In a month it never work for 7 to 15 days .In my area only bsnl provides fiber service that why I using this.I become fed up using this. When it work speed is good.In my opinion never use bsnl ftth . Bsnl employee have zero knowledge they are not helping you. After sales service is very bad. BSNL has given contact of bsnl fttb to contractors. They never help you .Contractors have zero knowledge.

I am surprised to see how bsnl got two star rating. . Bsnl is one of the worst network I have seen. . Pathetic customer service. . I don't know they are trained exicutives r not. . they don't have a knowledge at all. . If they don't know then then will simply hang your phone Or put you on hold. . Please try to educate the executive or improve the network and service. .

I am using BSNL FTTH Since 1 year and I have only faced internet speed issue 1 - 2 times in a month other than that, I haven't faced downtime issue or haven't faced any wire cut issue like used to face in BSNL Copper Fiber.


Whenever speed goes down, I just have to contact local services and it got fixed within 1 - 2 hours. Customer support is improved drastically in past year.


BSNL has improved it's services back in 2021 after lockdown. I would recommend BSNL FTTH if you want to choose.

Absolutely pathetic and trash service .My internet service has been down since the last 3 days , the contractor said some cable damage was there and now he is not picking the call? But they are always ready to receive money.Pathetic Customer service when called , no reply or no help.#boycottbsnl

Service of bsnl is very bad I close my connection over a year before and then I got a call from dsnl that my bill is pending the bill is charge by them is bsnl TV services and I never heard about anything like that before, staff dehaviar was very unprofessional and rude it cost me 1300rs as a Bill and they my telephone service,

I got this connected today in Kolkata area. On a 999/pm plan, decently good bandwidth, low latency, multiple concurrent users with good up/down speeds. You get an unlimited nationwide calling phone free too. Works more than fine compared to other ISPs.

I tried their customer support..


Either they don't pick up if they do they won't talk they'd put the phone somewhere on the desk and keep up with their chit chat you can literally hear them talking to eachother and won't bother to answer the customer...


NEVER EVER GO FOR BSNL ...

I have 60Mbps plan with 3300GB. In Starting i was getting speed according to my plan , but as soon as the connections ( Customers ) has been increased in my area, speed got worst.


Now I got only 10 - 30 Mpbs speed in day time, i am getting good speed only after 11 Pm to 10 Am which is useless, because i need internet in the day time.


I did even complain plenty of time, but they always make excuses like - It may be congestion due to overuse of internet, the problem is from Backend, Now a days more people watching TV on OTT Platform, Switch off and on the Router after sometime, Use Wire for Internet, We will check settings of your Router etc. But ultimately nothing works. You can say they don't care, once u took the connection.


The Actual thing is BSNL don't have good and updated machines, if connections are increased in the same area, the internet speed of BSNL got worst. I literally am not satisfied with the internet of BSNL fiber.
