?? Honest Review – Tunwal Storm XL EV (Lead-Acid Version) – User from Hyderabad
I purchased the Tunwal Storm XL EV (lead-acid battery) from the Tunwal distributor in Pochampally, Dundigal Mandal, near the District Police Station. My experience with both the product and the dealership has been very disappointing.
?? Real-World Range
Claimed range: 80 km per charge (ideal lab condition)
Real-world usage: Only around 50 km per charge
In Mode 3 (speed mode), the range drops to 25–30 km, which makes the scooty impractical for daily commuting
? Poor Service & Dealer Behavior
Service experience has been unreliable, disorganized, and frustrating
Staff shows no respect or customer care, with aggressive behavior and no clear response on service issues
Zero patience, no proper updates, and a lack of technical knowledge or coordination
?? My Request to Tunwal
Tunwal should:
Clearly publish real-world mileage for all battery types and riding modes
Improve dealer training and strictly monitor customer service standards
Build transparency, accountability, and better after-sales support
I’m truly worried after my purchase. I hope Tunwal takes serious steps to improve their scooters and dealership standards.
